A request was made to East Central Towing to have a car towed recently. ECT charged my credit card immediately $483+ and dispatched a truck. Their policy is to have an electronic waiver form completed, before allowing their driver to hook. The form was texted with a link that is broken - 404 error (and trying to find the form manually on their website is futile), so the waiver form never was completed, but the truck and driver apparently were on site and waiting for the form. A phone call was made by ECT, but could not be answered because of work commitments, so a voicemail was left and so wasn't replied to. Shortly after that time, the driver and truck left, never towing the vehicle, but keeping the full payment. Bottom line for East Central: 1. Do NOT dispatch a truck and charge a card until a waiver form is completed (as per your policy stated on your website). 2. Fix your link and website. Terrible process... read more
