Seriously, why is this store so expensive? 1) yes! They have fun learning tools 2) yes! They sometimes throw fun kids events 3) yes! I'd love to buy and play with everything in the store 4) No! I'm not going to spend $60 on a set of building blocks just because they're soft! Seriously, why do blocks need to be soft? What are they made out of? Gold!!!??? 5) yes, my kids love the snap and design monster trucks, but they play with them just as often as they play with the cheap ones from the dollar store. 6) $50 for a set of soft rubber dinosaurs that come in a lunch box? $5 for comparable items at the dollar store 7) $50 for a chair pad that sits on the floor? My kids rip the chair pads off our bar stools and can sit on the floor for free. PSA: Try to think critically before spending your money. That is all.

In being a private tutor, for over a decade, aside from my regular job, I have come here periodically over the years. This is a STELLAR place for any teacher, tutor, or parent, needing to find materials for their students, or children, of any academic level, and subject. This has been my "go-to" for workbooks, activities, etc. Doesn't matter if a student is a Kindergartner, a 3rd grader, an 8th grader, or a Sophomore in high school -- this place "HAS THE GOODS!" I recently came in a few days ago as I needed multiplication, and division, flashcards for a new student. The employees inside had their masks on, as did those of us patronizing the business, and I really had a WONDERFUL experience, thanks to Bernard who was working there! Additionally, the space was well organized with all the products available, and on display, a sale was going on (helpful as materials can be expensive), extremely well lit and there was a sense of cleanliness -- ALL made me feel good, as always, for when I've been here in the past. Bernard asked if I needed help and what I was in search for. Long story short, he showed me items I hadn't even thought of needing, but also, when it came to paying, he helped me get a discount and even gave me a reusable tote! Really REFRESHING to be in the presence of someone who ACTUALLY WANTS to help a client, and make a customer have a positive experience, especially during these times! Bernard represented Lakeshore Learning EXTREMELY well and this business is lucky to have him -- HONESTLY! Thank you, Bernard!

This is a lovely, educational and fun store. I was helped the moment I walked in, Maurissa helped me locate age-appropriate, learning toys for my grandson. There are many, many choices and all of the staff are informed and helpful. *Highly recommend.*

Some people consider the store "small," I thought it was plenty big with tons and tons of educational toy options.

This studio is filled with great instructors and students. I appreciate this place being more of a class setting than those one-time activities for date night or to hang with friends, because ceramics takes awhile to get a good handle on. Plus there is a process of the bisque and glaze fire which cannot be done in a day. My recommendation is to take the 8-week class and show up to every class. At the end of the course, I'm sure you will have a better understanding of pottery.

During the practice sessions, Chung would personally assist each of us on how to improve our throwing technique. Sometimes, we'll see instructor Yee, whom adds on the extra fun of banter in the classroom. They also have open studio so that students can practice during the week. Special out out to Cassandra! Thank you for being super responsive and delightful to be around. Overall, everyone at the studio is amazing, and i love the welcoming atmosphere!!

I just want to write this review to counter-act against "Scott S" one-star review because his…read morereview is so ridiculous. I should mention, I am in no way affiliated with this shop whatsoever in any way, shape, or form. However I do live in the neighborhood and when I was searching for paper stores, this shop came up in the search. It took me literally 2 seconds to see that it's not the type of store I'm looking for (I'm looking for more of a stationary/paper store as opposed to art supply anyways, but alas this shop came up.) I personally think it's really cool to have a shop specifically for materials more geared toward graffiti/spray paint art...because graffiti IS ART. Therefore this shop IS an art supply store! That guys review would be almost like if I went to Whole Foods and got mad because they don't sell Hot Cheetos and Swishers. That would be ridiculous, right? Of course it would be! People should do their own due diligence! I'm sure Scott S. refuses to take such responsibility though, for he mustn't have the basic sense to make such high agency decisions in his day-to-day life. But that's okay. Because I'm here. To suggest to anyone that comes across this shop, to simply look at the images. Look for yourself. Is this the type of store you're looking for? If you are unsure, the store owner's phone number is right here on this very listing. I'm sure you can call and ask. Don't be like Scott. Not now. Not ever.

I was looking for an "art supply store" close to me. Saw good reviews for this place on Yelp. Went…read morethere but a total waste of time. This is not an art supply store. They only have supplies like spray paint for graffiti. They don't have drawing paper or paints or canvases or anything you need to make art. Unless you're doing graffiti don't bother with this place.
