The Manager AMANDA always gave the BEST in Customer Service. Amanda was always prompt to answer my call and to answer any questions. She proved to be personable and efficient! Even by phone I knew she was smiling, and loves what she does. She is a wonderful person and a an asset to Alamo Storage Company! My worries were few as the unit was Climate Controlled, regularly Pest Controlled and the property always kept clean and secured. The Security System is excellent and I never had an issue whatsoever! During the 10 years I had NO bad experience, none of my valuables were damaged or even dusty since the area is maintained as it has been. As far as the value, it was the most affordable anywhere. I appreciate that even after my 10 years I still paid half what I would pay in other states! Again, Amanda is manager of the N. Buckner location and it was a pleasure doing business-having my HHG and valuable items stored without worry under her good care.

We have been storing our items here for about a year and a half now with no trouble. The people who…read morerun the office are great and the place is extremely secure, which is why we chose this location. Last weekend, we had record flooding, which flooded most, if not all the units. We signed up with their insurance when we first started our rental unit. Access Self Storage sent over our information and I filed the furniture we were claiming damaged. Come to find out, their insurance they offer does not cover flooding. We were not told that when we signed up for it. Needless to say, we will be looking for another unit to store our things. I'm sure many other people will too. I'm not risking their drainage system again while I'm paying insurance and they aren't even taking care of their current tenants. It's a waste of my time and my money.

This place has the absolute worst customer service, Mary is a dictator with terrible personal…read moreskills. She also is quite offensive in how she talks about the residents and others around the place. They threaten action for the smallest issues (like eviction for reports of dog poop in the yard despite you picking up after your dogs. Mary also makes up rules on the spot if she doesn't like you for whatever reason. One of my favorites is that they don't allow gas-powered vehicles on the property (like golf carts) but she drives around in an incredibly loud Mule UTV. The location is nice, and the amenities are decent, but the people you deal with up there are horrible. Every transaction I have had with them over the last year has been bad. If you use their storage they charge you for the full month and no refunds or proration. Their excuse is that the owner thinks the amount is "just so cheap". It's not in their contract, nor is it talked about at the start of the contract. Additionally if you start service there they will not let you setup separate accounts for your business and your personal uses. PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND AVOID THIS PLACE IF YOU PLAN TO ENJOY YOUR LIFE.

They offer a fully stocked convenience store with snacks, drinks, and alcoholic beverages. They have clean and private bath houses. Laundry rooms, a swimming pool, and also on-site propane. Personally, one of my favorite things about this place is the drinking water they have. It's a five stage filtration system that dispenses water by the gallon. I usually come here to fill up my 18 gallons of water bi-weekly, and I never had an issue paying with credit cards or cash and coins. The water tastes clean and crisp, and the pump dispenses fast. They also sell ice here as well. The customer service is great and friendly, and I'm always greeted when arriving. This is a must stop for your gallon of water needs, and it's especially convenient when living in the surrounding neighborhoods.
