I'm so happy that they were accepting new patients and since someone canceled they were able to schedule my son to be seen by the dentist today. One of the plus I must say about this place is that they do direct billing.. I had to deal with the second dentist we tried we had to pay up front and send in the papers ourself and wait for the reimbursement and we all know going to the dentist is like giving them your whole house it cost so much so not having to pay first and just let them do the direct billing was such a happy thing to hear cause it gives and ease of mind.. Second the staff are very patient I have seen dentist where they force the child to sit of get the parents to hold the child down instead of getting to know the child and building the trust as the dentist we saw today said so that was something I was happy to hear cause my son he is 5 and he went through enough trauma that he is afraid and he cried before they could do anything to him and to hear they want to take it slow build the trust with him made us feel comfortable. If you have 5 to zero patience with kids don't be a dentist for kids cause they tend to get scared or nervous. Despite my son being afraid and it was his first time here he knows he has to go back and he is prepared and ready and he was very happy that they didn't force him to clean or do anything to his tooth.. Over time we realized they are not very original and hurt money hungry. I had a wisdom tooth removed here and I regret the entire experience. I was under the impression that dr Salvaggio was going to do the procedure but a different dentist did it instead. I was not impressed with him. He was not patient nor was he nice. He made it seem like I was eating his time. The procedure itself was painful. I don't think they numbed me enough as I could feel most of what they were doing. When I tried communicating that with them they mostly ignored me. When it was time to leave that was the worst part. I was clearly in so much pain and drugged so I was not fully aware of everything going on. My mom was there to drive me home and as we were about to go through the door the Secretary at the front desk was asking me for payment!! I couldn't believe it. You think they would have the common decency and respect to ask for payment prior to the procedure or on my next visit or even send me the bill in the mail. I didn't even bring my wallet in from the car because I knew I would be out of it and didn't want to leave it mistakenly behind. When I asked them to fax my prescription to the pharmacy for the medicatio they were completely hesitant. I have never been back to this dentist after this experience and I never will. I don't recommend them at all. If I could give zero stars I would.

I still stand by my statement that Dr. Joshi is a WONDERFUL dentist. I recently changed my mind after receiving Account Statement for $100 after I was told I had paid in full during my original appointment in February. When I called to ask what had happened I was met with different answers 1. They forgot to add the additional work done in the original bill 2. My insurance pays every 2 weeks so there was a discrepancy on the bill 3. There was a glitch/error from the computer when adding it in. I personally don't believe its good practice. If I had recieved a call shortly after my appointment explaining there was an error I would have no issue with that, mistakes happen. However sending off an account statement saying I owe them money due to an error made on their behalf without any explanation seems uncaring and unprofessional.

I've been going to Dr. Rashid at several of his practices for the past decade or so. In a line of work where dentists can rip your wallet apart by scaring you to get treatments you don't need (and may God Protect us when they know that patient has insurance), Dr. Rashid is a God sent. He gives honest feedback on true condition and helps solves the problems rather than creating new ones that don't exist. I can understand that many dentists are looking to make money (just like the rest of us), but it appears that many don't believe they are answerable to God in there Hereafter. Every penny earned by tricking someone intentionally will come to bite you on the Day of Judgement so amend your ways before it's too late when neither your money nor your high profile friends will be able to help you. If you (dear money-driven dentist) need to see how a good, honest dentist should be - go spend a day with Dr. Rashid. Sorry if that sounded harsh, but had to be said.
