They do direct billing with the insurance companies and are appropriately staffed so you don't wait too long. The waiting room is small but cozy with comfortable chairs and a TV set to news, weather and traffic. The one negative is that evening and Saturday appointments book up fast and you can wait weeks to months for those. If you have flexibility during the work day then you are good. If not you can get around this by booking your visits well in advance.

I even got a filling like a champ today, or so they told me. All the fear and shame I felt after so long melted away. I felt like I was getting solid dentistry treatment and advice, but without any of the judgment that I feared. Let's talk about the details: Front desk: Yolen. She is SO NICE! Super helpful, too, and up on technology enough that she has a system that will text message you appointment reminders and she'll gladly communicate by email as well as phone. I have found her to be a charming, welcoming face to see when you enter the office. Hygenist: ChiChi (which I may be spelling incorrectly), also very friendly, funny, and warm. Despite her fingers being in my mouth a lot, we managed to have some good conversation, and she helped me feel very much at ease on that first visit so I wasn't a nervous wreck when the dentist herself actually came in. Assistant: Joyce. I know I am sounding redundant here, but friendly, warm, clever. Really enjoyed meeting her and she was a big part of my feeling welcome. She answered a lot of questions for me to help me understand what was going to happen, too. Dentist: Dr. Bollo-Kamara. She took lots of time with me on my first visit and answered every question I had. I am pretty sure I made her late for another appointment, but I never felt like she was trying to rush me out of the chair. She knew that I had avoided dentistry for too long, and was welcoming me back by sharing lots of knowledge--and lots of patience! Office: New, Modern, Clean. All the equipment is up-to-date and everything is clean and comfortable. I have full trust in the procedures at this office. I spotted glove changes (as needed), every hand-touched surface covered in a fresh layer of plastic at each visit, and even the head rest area is covered in plastic at each visit. Very impressed by the professionalism as well as the bedside manner. There is at least one other person at reception I haven't really interacted with yet, but that's the core of the team. As you can imagine: I highly recommend this office. I have been three times now, and I am still thrilled with it, so I figured it was time to tell everyone else about it. :)

She put her hair up and then started touching the instruments. Didn't wash her hands nor put on gloves. Who knows where her hands have been besides in her hair! She did a very poor job but the worst part was she padded the bill. I guess she thought it would be okay to charge for time she didn't use because we have insurance. Find a dental office that follows proper protocol for hand washing, etc. One that doesn't over bill would be better too.

She is friendly, informative and a true leader. Her ability to stay focused and calm during chaos is an inspiration to all of the office staff and interns around her. As an example, I was having a tooth extracted and after 5 injections of anesthesia, my tooth was still sensitive and I was yelling and freaking out like a crazy man - Dr. Javadi calmed me down with her soothing tone and brought out the laughing gas and got the job done. My apologies to the staff and clients who I might have scared that day :-) Marlene Heics is the best Hygienist that I have ever had and is completely thorough! Knowing my medical history, every session starts with Marlene taking my blood pressure and doing an oral exam and she refers any findings to Dr. Javadi immediately - as an example, she texted Dr. Javadi over a weekend to remind her about my condition. The professional staff at the reception is always on top of me to keep my appointments, re-book immediately when I have to cancel due to business travel and never let me mismanage by own oral healthcare.
