Welcome to my hip Dentist! It is the best here. When I was a kid, I went to a dentist in London, ON that let me watch Disney movies on TVs that hung from the ceiling as I got my teeth cleaned. At Mint, it's the same but you can watch anything you want on Netflix. Who does that?! Mint does. I've been here a few times, both for cleanings and to have my wisdom teeth removed. Both were as good as the experiences could be, given that the very nature of the appointment is dentistry. Wisdom teeth suck. Very clean and bright inside, with complimentary water and coffee. Everyone is smiling and nice, and they have great systems online for booking, emailing, alerting, etc. Dr. Chincholi has always been very kinda and patient with any questions. I am a new patient at Mint Dentistry. I decided to choose this dentist because it is next door to my home and has great reviews. I tried it out and I'm pretty much a regular here now, I do not want to go anywhere else until they make me! :) Thank you so much Iuliana for providing top of the line service not just to me but to all patients that come in, I've seen it with my own eyes!! I had several treatments done at this clinic. Full examination, dental cleaning, several cavities and a full night guard for bruxism, so your talking thousands of dollars. I would normally give higher stars; however, and its a BIG however, I am unsatisfied with some fillings and how my 6 year old and I was treated at the clinic. After my last treatment the dentist suggested I get my son a sports guard for soccer, using somewhat of the fear tactic; however, it's his second season and still I have not seen another kid with a mouth guard. Needless to say I decided to take my son because I was worried ... big mistake. For around an hour, the dental staff repeatedly put a mouth tray in and out of his mouth, and if you ever had a custom fitted mouth or night guard, you'll know this could be torture as the trays are larger than your bite, so you really have to stretch your mouth to fit these trays. During my treatment, I had 2 fittings. During his treatment, it was around 15. When I decided to bring it up, the staff got agitated and on several occasions said he looked fine. I did hear him gag like he was going to throw up several times as these trays were stuffed in his mouth repeatedly, but like many children, they are always smiling and happy, and knowing my son, he was happy that I was defending him and speaking up for him when he couldn't. Update (09/21/2016): I had some fillings done before summer and I experienced tooth sensitivity at that point. Normally, it goes away. So I waited it out. My teeth where the filling occurred now experience extra sensitivity to hot and cold. So now it seems I got hot/cold sensitivity in that area which will probably lead to a root canal, after consulting Dr. Google (as in the search engine), people claim this is because the dentist drilled too deep. I tried contacting the dentist, but the response was meager, and the tooth sensitivity will not be addressed at this clinic, meaning I will have to find another dentist and pay more money. I will not be recommending this clinic. read more

I hate going to the dentist as I'm ridden with anxiety, discomfort, post-dentist soreness, and general awkwardness. Dentists don't usually like me either for the above reasons. Enter Mint dentistry. Aside from the generally comforting presence of their reception staff and the healthy, blooming living wall, Dr. Sue herself was just delightful! It's rare to meet someone who can actually take time to address fears, issues and misconceptions people have about aspects of their body/ health, which is exactly what she did, in a caring and happy way. This is different than being treated like another mouth to clean. At one point I actually felt my unreasonable anxiety melt away in the massage (yes massage) chair while the hygienist (Felicia, you're amazing) was mid way through her cleaning. If you're anything like me and generally avoid dental appointment like the plague, the life of your mouth/teeth/ gums will not be the same after they receive lots of care and cleaning from the staff at Mint. I'm actually going back next week! Willingly! Thank you guys!! Oh, and they have TV, Netflix, if you're into TV and Netflix. read more

I went to Mint Dentistry for the first time yesterday and was very impressed with my first dental experience away from the dentist that I have been attending since I've had teeth. Booking as a first time patient was made easy through a handy email form, as was submitting all my health plan documentation via scanned documentation beforehand. My dental hygenist was pleasant and skilled, and I even got to choose what I wanted to watch on Netflix while my pearly whites got tended to. Though I didn't book a dental examination, Dr. Chincholi took the time to pop into the room and say hi and welcome me to the practice. If that isn't service, I don't know what is. Located on Queen Street in a beautiful and state of the art facility, with friendly staff and convenient booking times - needless to say I found my new Dentist. read more

Had and emergency consult with Dr Chincholi, who was my dentist prior to me leaving the province. I trusted her immensely, so when my 13yo had dental issues, I came to her for a second opinion. She was prompt and professional about what she would recommend for treatment. We are now into a course of treatment that will be a long-term investment in my 13yo's smile. It is critical for the patient to realize that they can, and should, advocate for their own care. Dr. Chincholi is clearly an advocate for patient care and supported me in the decisions I made for my child. She encouraged me to connect with the specialists that would provide the most intensive and specialized services. Dr. Chincholi recognizes the importance of a professional dental team that is specific to the needs of the patient. I equate my experience like this: if you are looking for a particular item you generally go to the store that specializes in that item.... I want to eat a steak, so I have a bunch of choices, I can go to a big buffet and eat 50 poorly cooked, cheap steaks OR I can go to a local restaurant that specializes in steak and have 1 amazing steak, priced accordingly. At Mint Dentistry, they understand that quality and patient care go hand in hand. They will work with the patient and their needs to develop the most appropriate course of action. Mint looks clean and fancy but it is way overpriced. They're a decent dentistry place but for the quality of services they offer, I don't understand why it is so expensive. Better off going to another dentist. read more

I recently started seeing Dr. Sue at Mint Dentistry. I am blessed with good teeth so most of my time is spent with the hygienists. I recently visited the newest location in the Junction (Dundas and Quebec AVe) and April is by far the best hygienist I've ever visited. She's thorough, friendly and takes care to make sure I have a comfortable experience. I never used to look forward to going to the dentist but now I am waiting for my 6 month visits. Oh and I might add there is lots of free street parking in that area so it's not a nightmare to get there. read more

I called yesterday for an emergency visit, and they were able to fit me in the same day! Dr. Chincholi was fantastic--I'm always a bit apprehensive when going to the dentist because I don't floss and usually dentists are really judgemental, but Sue was great. I'd like to say I'm looking forward to going back, but I'm getting a root canal. Nevertheless, I'm definitely going to be coming here for future visits. And regularly, since I'd like to avoid more root canals. read more

I fear nothing as much as a visit to the dentist, which I realize is a dramatic thing to say but it's true. I hadn't gone in 7 years, and was so nervous to get a cleaning! But alas, I went, and was so immensely relieved afterwards. Dr.Chincholi was such a pleasure, she was warm and friendly and HELPFUL! She put all my worries at ease. I've literally never been that comfortable before. The dental hygienist did a thorough job, and was checking in with me to make sure I was comfortable the whole time. Wish I could give an even worse star rating. Front desk is incapable at handling insurance properly, don't take any accountability for wrong filing process. They've been extremely unprofessional and dismissive when I've tried to speak to them about my claim. Doctor who runs clinic will not speak to me either. read more

I have been seeing Dr Sue at Mint Dentistry for years now and am always impressed with the level of service. The staff are very friendly and easy to talk to and it truly has a family feel. Had my first appointment here a couple weeks ago and I only have good things to say about this office. Their equipment is state-of-the-art, the decor is modern and very pleasant, customer service is some of the best in the city, and Dr. Chincholi is a fantastic dentist. She was pleasant, very friendly and answered all my questions, didn't try to sell me services I don't need, and was overall just great. I've been looking for a new dental practice for a while now since I have been to four different dentists and never really felt like I loved my experience with any of them. Well, my search is over after visiting Mint today. Right from entering the clinic, I knew it was going to be a different kind of practice. The reception area is gorgeously renovated and immaculate, with a self-serve treats area, living wall, and computers with www access. But the thing that struck me was how clean the air was and didn't have that awful "dentist" smell. I later found out that they have an air purification system that completely cleans the air every hour or so (maybe more frequent?). April was amazing, taking care to really clean my teeth (not just go through the motions). The experience was comfortable - the chair massaged me, the TV screen was on the ceiling and I had the remote control to watch whatever I wanted. I felt amazing afterwards - my teeth are the cleanest they have been ever and I actually look forward to the next visit. Highly recommend them! Wow wow wow. read more

This is the best dentistry practice I've ever experienced. The waiting room is filled with all kinds of distractions to make you comfortable; including a living wall feature with which I was thoroughly intrigued. Dr. Chincholi introduces herself as simply Sue before shaking everyone's hand, and for my friend (the patient) she had a hug she waited 9 years to give. Reception at Mint cannot do enough for you. When you're sitting in a waiting room for 2.5 hours, you overhear a lot of office chatter and it's so refreshing to hear ladies building each other up instead of gossiping when one leaves the room. In addition to all of this, you cared for my friend better than I believe any dentist before could. read more

I travelled from Hamilton to Mint Dentistry on Queen W. Toronto because Dr. Sue Chincholi is simply the best. As a person with a lot of dental fear - yes, it could be called a phobia - I've found very few dentists with whom I've felt comfortable and confident, but I am confident about the treatment I'll receive within Dr. Chincholi's office. Her gentle, patient demeanour, her empathy and sensitivity, and her extensive knowledge and skill combined with a top-notch modern office space and amazing staff make the whole experience not only tolerable but pleasant. I can't say I've ever smiled and laughed throughout a dental appointment before, but somehow Dr. Chincholi managed to help me do just that. Dr. Sue Chincholi and her staff are simply the best. I had a pain-free exam, cleaning, and tooth repair yesterday and I'm back next week to have the remainder of my long-overdue work done. Is it ok to tell people you're my hero, Sue? I just recently switched the whole family over to Mint Dentistry and couldn't be happier. The kids love Mint because they can surf the net in the waiting room and watch TV while getting their teeth cleaned (the office is stunning). Most importantly, Dr. Chincholi and staff make my kids feel comfortable. Everyone speaks directly to my children (imagine, kids are people too!). They explain everything; all the work that will happen and the tools they will use, and they take the time to answer all my kids' questions. I feel like I can trust Dr. Chincholi to do the work that is needed (and nothing more). A dentist with integrity, who would have thought! I also appreciated that before our first visit I was able to fill out any paperwork needed online and that all the dental office information (phone number, email....) loaded itself off the website into my contact list on my phone (sadly, I thought that was cool!). read more

I had awful experience with the front desk and their professionalism in my handling my insurance company. I signed up as a new patient and had 3-4 different appointments in a short period of time and they did not send through the insurance quotes properly, resulting in me going out of pocket for unnecessary appointments that I should have been covered for. When I asked to file a complaint to the Queen St office, I was given the run-around by the woman at reception and was never actually put in contact with senior management or the office manager, though she promised I would be. I was shocked. I brought this office a lot of business, only to come out of pocket for appointments I would have been covered for if they were diligent enough to do the correct protocol with my insurance. The reception is not efficient with their paperwork and extremely unprofessional in handling unsatisfied patients. I'm still dealing with the receptionist, and I would not recommend. read more
