Unfortunately, I also feel pushed to get certain procedures done. I had 6 cavities done over 5 years at Bite, but last year they told me that the cavities had to be refilled. I went to another dentist and those cavities were not an issue. The last straw for me was when they mixed up my dental appointments twice and I had to call to confirm my appointment date. I appreciate reminders, but getting dates mixed up seem to be a subtle way to recall me more frequently. I feel bad for Bite because it used to be an amazing clinic with dentists and hygienists, but the high turnover and business operations pushed me to go with another dentistry.

They wanted to make money out of my insurance I guess, so their hygienist spent 1 hour on half side of my teeth. Basically, to waste time, she drilled so much that it damaged a nerve and I started bleeding. I called them to tell them I have blood oozing out and was told to take salt water gargle. Finally, at 1 am I had to go in an ER because the blood wouldn't stop. I had to spit blood every 45 sec, because my mouth would be full. ER couldn't stop the blood, because it was a dental issue I guess. Next morning, I went to them and they (with a straight face) heard everything and asked me to go to a specialist. They booked an appointment for me for that afternoon. It's was already 24 hours of no sleep, or food, or sleep. After 24 hours and blood all over and around me, I was finally fixed with stitches. It's the first time in my life that I pay so much money for a filling that broke twice. Every time I stepped in this clinic I had the feeling to be a pray. It seems really obvious to me that money is more important than the patient itself. I also found that there is a will to scare you in getting more done that you actually need, and reading other reviews is confirming this idea. I am also running away because I don't like that strategy that many clinic have to evaluate how much money your insurance covers and schedule random checks threw the year to get that money event if that's not necessary.

Kingwest Dental does not care for nervous patients with care. They refuse to re-do my nightguard (one of the reasons I switch dentists was to get the 3D tech for the nightguard production) as it does not fit. They don't care, they already got their money. My teeth hurt. My coverage is only for one nightguard (obviously) and they wont help. The last cleaning I had the woman gouged me and also put the blood and plaque on my shirt and in my hair and was pretty mean and rude to me. I felt afraid halfway through and my neck was hurting so I asked for a rest. She typed on the computer with the same gloves she was using to go into my mouth. It made me feel sick. Finally, I'll say that I specifically noted that I need female clinicians (i'm a survivor of violence, which I shared in confidence) and they didn't respect that .I guess they found it amusing to see me panicked as the male dentist came to check in on me on my second visit.
