I have been a patient of Dr Ken Rozansky at Yonge Eglinton Dental for approximately 15+ years, and while I have always thought it was a first-rate dental office providing prompt and caring dental services, I have never felt compelled to write a review until now. Several weeks ago I called the office due to a toothache and was told to come in to see Dr Rozansky that evening. Dr Rozansky noted that the source of the pain was a crack in a molar, and although he indicated a root canal may be required, he also thought it possible to avoid that measure and we agreed on a conservative approach involving attempting to rectify the problem by removing a decaying filling, refilling and sealing the tooth. I was grateful for the discussion and the choice of a more cautious approach; and although the pain was initially subsiding, it became worse the following week. Upon seeing Dr. Rozansky a 2nd time, he indicated it was time to see an endodontic specialist. Following a root canal by the endodontist, I required 2 more visits to Dr. Rozansky for the crown work. Dr Rozansky explained every detail relating to the work that had to be done to prepare my tooth for the crown, the work necessary to put in a temporary crown while the permanent one was made and the final placement. During all the appointments in the process, I found Dr Rozansky to be an informative, meticulous and gentle professional, and I was thrilled (as much as one can be with having to get a crown!) with the final result. Dr Rozansky's assistant, June, was also terrific throughout! Finally, (and of equal importance), my insurance had maxed out during the process, and Dr. Rozansky raised the issue with me(!) and worked with me to ensure that I could manage the costs of the procedure. . read more

I had an excellent experience at Yonge Eglinton Dental Centre. Dr. Ari Katsnelson and the entire staff took their time with me and ensured I had a great experience. I have very bad back pain so they made sure that I was very comfortable in the chair before they began. Dr. Katsnelson is extremely knowledgeable, patient and very funny, which helped me relax and take my mind off of things. He was also very thorough and made sure I understood everything that was going on with my teeth. I live around Yonge and Eglinton so the location is absolutely ideal for me. It is steps away from the subway station and there is ample street parking if you're driving. I even appreciated the decor of the office, which had these very interesting ceiling displays that I was able to look while laying back in the chair - again, it helped take my mind off of me and kept me relaxed. I was so impressed that I recommended this office to my family - now both my mother and brother are regular patients of Dr. Katsnelson. read more

Doctor Ari Katsnelson is an exceptional doctor. He is extremely extremely professional, knowledgeable and highly supportive. The level of care and empathy he shows makes me feel like the most important patient to walk through his doors. He and everyone at Yonge Eglinton Dental always make me feel so comfortable, are always so lighthearted and always listen to my concerns. I am very grateful and consider myself very lucky to have Doctor Katsnelson and his staff (big shout out to Donna Wiese, an amazing dental hygienist) looking after my dental health. I couldn't be happier with the service provided at Yonge Eglinton Dental! I go to Dr Ari Katnelson and he is brilliant. I had to find a dentist when I was suddenly having issues with my wisdom teeth and I as I am a very nervous patient I wanted to make sure I was going to the best. Ari made me feel completely at ease and really took his time whenever I was getting a bit panicky. I have gone back ever since for check-ups and cleanings and always come away very happy with the service from Ari, the girls at the front desk and the other amazing staff. The follow up communications are also second to none! I cannot thank the staff at Yonge Eglinton Dental Centre enough for the incredible service and care I received. I typically visit my childhood dentist in Burlington but I now live in Toronto and experienced a dental emergency over night. As a first time patient, I called the very friendly reception staff when they opened at 7:00am and Dr. Ari Katsnelson saw me by 10:30am that same morning. He immediately put me at ease and put a plan into action. He even answers e-mails off hours to help his patients in need. This morning I had a root canal treatment with Dr. Bettina Basrani, who is the BEST at what she does. She made me feel so comfortable and coached me through the procedure so there were no surprises. I can honestly say that Dr. Ari Katsnelson is the best dentist I've ever had. He is not only very conscientious about his work, he also goes out of his way to ensure his patient is comfortable and informed about the steps he is taking. I've recently had to have extensive dental work done and Dr. Ari was very attentive and thorough during the process. My son is also his patient and Dr. Ari is wonderful with kids, as well. Have been visiting yonge and eglinton dental for a number of years now. Have had nothing but the most attentive service from their staff specifically Dr. Ari Katsnelson. I was always afraid on dentists and worried about pain until I switched over to this dental office. They provide the utmost in professional service and really care about their patients. Also, my teeth have never looked more white which is what I have always dreamed of being a smoker. I can't give enough positive reviews for this dentist office. I have been a client of Dr. Randy Fisher for two years, and highly recommend him and the hygienists at YongeEg Dental. I recently had some complicated dental work done, and I have not had the best experiences with dentists in the past.... I have been coming to this practice for about ten years. This is what I think dental care should be like. Every single person I have ever been treated by -- from a dental hygienist to a surgeon has been extremely professional and genuinely caring. Like the other reviewer, I have a difficult time with dentists. While the news I received was awful (boo wisdom tooth), the service I received was amazing. If you're looking for a dentist in Toronto, I highly recommend paying this clinic a visit. The staff were incredibly friendly, the office was clean and comfortable and I felt that I received value for my money. When the filling in one of my teeth suddenly broke, I immediately thought of Yonge Eglinton Dental. It was early in the day when I called and they were able to see me right away. Dr. Katsnelson quickly made an assessment and explained the situation. A crown would be needed to be made and in the meantime the tooth would be temporarily repaired. Dr. Rozansky did a full revamp of my front teeth, completely changing my smile and giving me so much confidece in my day to day interactions. He used a combination of multiple dental cosmetic procedures and worked seemlessly with my orthodontist to achieve an amazing result. I have been seeing Dr. Rozansky for 12 years after leaving a dentist who wasn't up to date with the latest techniques. Dr. Rozansky provides impeccable service with superior attention to detail. I always feel safe and taken care of here. Their COVID procedures are clear and thorough and the Doctor explained all the changes and upgrades they'd made to keep everyone safe. Even pre-covid, the safety and care were excellent. I never feel pressured into procedures, but they always explained options to me and checked my insurance for coverage. The staff here are incredibly organized and very polite. The level of professionalism is also fantastic and the dentists and assistants are very competent.
