His office will communicate via email which is wonderful, and sometime it will be Dr. Hao who follows up himself if he's checking on a particularly difficult tooth or recent surgery. His office has gone above and beyond to help me out when I have been in an emergency situation, I know they've stayed late or missed lunch hours for patients before. Dr. Weiss was able to see what the issue was, and gave me the language to use if I wanted to return to the original provider to fix it. He also provided some options for me to get full bonding done by him. Since the consult experience was such a positive one, I decided to have the work done by him instead of trying again with the other dentist. I booked a 90-minute appointment, with the plan to return for a second appointment as well, but Dr. Weiss was able to fix the problem tooth in about 20 minutes. He said he could still re-do the tooth with full bonding if I wasn't 100% happy, but the tooth he fixed looks absolutely perfect with a lot less intervention (and cost) than I was expecting. I appreciated too that he recommended I leave it as is, rather than get more work done on it and spend more money. I had an amazing experience and will recommend Dr. Weiss to anyone looking for the best of the best in cosmetic dentistry.

This clinic puts itself on a stage where it preaches a family like atmosphere with it's patients, asking you friendly questions, trying to get to know you by asking about favourite interests on it's intake form, adding confusion as to whether or not this is actually a dental practice office or if it's a hipster joint that you're registering for an ID card at. In addition to it's problematic, arrogant, self serving, & over priced dental surgeon, Dr. Botbol, they have an anesthesiologist that will call to discuss the procedure further with you and whether or not they think you're a good fit for the services this particular anesthesiologist can offer in this clinic (seeing as how it isn't an OR room). This man is just as arrogant, if not even MORE offensive in his treatment of people, going as far as to put me down into a mentally small box for having borderline personality disorder, claiming that I could wake up and be a danger to the office at one point because of the "unpredictable nature of your mood disorder." I would never, never ever, recommend anyone to this clinic. While they reign you in with false promises, they do nothing for the patient to supply & execute the process. They just layout the prices for you on multiple pieces of wasted paper, exercising their rights to charge you thousands of dollars, and saddle you with an impossible bill - all the while charming you, telling you it all with a smile on their face. After all, that's what they are all about, creating a world where everyone and anyone can smile and feel good about it. This particular clinic went so far as to goad my autism and Dr. Botbol decidedly pointed out that he was surprised I could have achieved that, as well taking it upon himself to "let me know" that I don't "present" as someone with autism. Do yourself a favour. Find a different, more welcoming & inclusive environment.

The surgery went smoothly, Dr Luong was very professional and explained to me the procedure and let me know what she was doing at every step. I recovered very quickly from the procedure. Overall, everyone I've encountered at Baywell has been pleasant and friendly. Just to name a few individuals that I've encountered at Baywell--Marianne the hygienist is very friendly, she does thorough cleanings and makes good conversation. She did, however, took a few X-rays of my teeth to make sure they were healthy. We also took advantage of our visit to get X-rays taken of my daughter's teeth. I was advised to get a night retainer and they proceeded to scan my teeth to get me a new and proper retainer. The other great ladies in the office where as delicate as Dr. A Valiushka, being very aware that most people don't like having any work done in their mouth. I must say, these are the most delicate dental workers I have ever gone to. They will be our "Forever Dentist" from now on. And we don't even live in Canada! Have I mentioned we also had fun?
