I scheduled appointment with Mr. Appliance for a day and a half after we noticed our Samsung…read morewashing machine was freezing only a short while into its cycle. The technician - Eric - who came out to assess our washer was courteous, enthusiastic, and very knowledgeable. It took him between 30 and 45 minutes to examine our washer and determine one of its electronic boards had gone bad. The already expensive part was even more expensive thanks to tariffs, but this wasn't anything Mr. Appliance could control. Despite that, we still decided to have the board replaced instead of junking the entire washer. It took until the following week for the part to come in, but fortunately we had a follow-up visit booked as soon as they knew when it arrived. Eric came back and replaced the board without any problems, and even happened to notice that the outlet our washer was plugged into seemed to have a short that might have been why the board went bad in the first place. So now we have a fully working washer again (plugged into a different outlet!) and useful info on a related issue we hadn't anticipated. Eric was great, and the scheduling process (and subsequent notifications on estimated arrival) were precise, accurate, and helpful. This would be a five-star review, but the mandatory ~$150 service visit minimum definitely seems more expensive than average.

Wish I would have looked at reviews before this, just an FYI, for them to drive out to your place…read moreand diagnose, it's $160. He was in my house for 10 minutes and told me my dryer is fine, it just needs to be cleaned. I guess I'm just used to places like River Falls Heating, where when they replace and fix something on my boiler, my bill is $100 because the service is so affordable. You will also have to pay immediately after (maybe they can send a bill, he never said he would), so be ready to pull out your credit card. I will be finding a new appliance tech. The tech guy was super nice though, Mark. told me to get a speed queen.

Precision Appliance Services - Recommendation: Don't slack on dryer cabinet and dryer vent clean out! This should be done every 1-3 years, depending on home and usage.

Horrible communication and customer service. Wish I would have read reviews before hiring because…read morethere seem to be a lot of those same complaints! My husband and I purchased a GE range from Home Depot back in June. We learned at that time that it needed to be converted from natural gas to liquid propane and Home Depot told us they do not provide this service. I researched dozens of sites, plumbing companies and appliance specialist companies, and decided to try JUSTIN FROST from PRECISION APPLIANCE SERVICES. He came out 4 times during the month of July to install the conversion kit, but after his last visit, the burners were not burning correctly. I knew something wasn't right so Justin said he would call GE and get back to me. JUSTIN FROST NEVER RESPONDED so I called GE directly and they sent an appliance repair specialist to us. Unfortunately because someone else had already worked on it, they were not able to help us. They could not spend the time trying to figure out what JUSTIN FROST did wrong and then try to fix it. Even though the GE specialist was not able to help us, he did tell me what was wrong with the installation of the kit: (1) the orifices were installed on the wrong burners so some burn too hot and on other burners the flame does not change at all, even after turning the knob from high to low; (2) it takes 30 seconds+ plus for the burners to finally ignite, which is a safety hazard as gas is constantly leaking while trying to ignite, (3) the screws behind the knobs were all stripped. I called JUSTIN FROST to discuss the situation and he seemed very friendly at first and even scheduled an appointment to come back out to fix the conversion kit. Guess what? JUSTIN FROST never showed up! He never responded to any of my calls or texts and I learned that he blocked my number. We ended up with a ruined range that could potentially be leaking gas and no one to fix it. Needless to say, I have never been so disappointed with someone you trust in your home who leads you on telling you he can perform a service he obviously is not capable of. I strongly do NOT RECOMMEND JUSTIN FROST at PRECISION APPLIANCE SERVICES!! I called another appliance company and they told me that once the kit is installed incorrectly, it cannot be fixed and my only option is to buy another new range, which we did.
