Fantastic setting on Lake Winnipesaukee with gorgeous sweeping water view of the broads of the lake…read moreand the distant mountains (the lake is about 8 miles wide at this point). According to my Google search it appears that there is over 80 acres here but it feels smaller probably due to the fact that the park is split between the swimming beach area and the RV camp ground area. The park opens at 9 AM but the line forms earlier, early arrivals get to choose the choicest picnic table locations. This is a super clean well cared for area that is great for day long waterfront activities. What you will find. Parking for about 200 cars, but the spaces are not lined so likely will hold far less. Entry fee for the beach area is $5 per adult and under that for children, see my photo showing fees. Walking trail (ADA accessible) to the beach, takes you past a open air pavilion with multiple picnic tables some with extended overhangs for wheelchair access. You will also pass a volley ball area, well kept porta potties, cold beverage vending machines, a small convenience store, and well equipped children's playground. A coarse sand beach area of about 700 feet, its nice and wide leading back to tree shaded lawns where you will find 100 or so picnic tables positioned far enough apart to give everyone some privacy. There are many BBQ pits and hibachi type grills located amongst the sites, I didn't see any signs posting that you couldn't bring your own grills but there are some banning fire pits and or camp fires. Also both sections of this park are NOT PET friendly so leave fido at home. Overall if you want a low budget day long family getaway this is a wonderful place to have it. If you find this review helpful please give it a thumbs up.

However, this is a dealership and there is a level of markup associated with their labor and parts...it's how they make money. Still, my experience was positive. I've been waiting for my boat since last summer. Raj, my salesman, has been great. The rest of the staff are positive and enjoyable folks through my interactions...I enjoy when they poke fun at Raj (sorry Raj haha). I noticed issues from the factory, they took care of the critical stuff and will take care of the rest when I bring the boat back in. It was easy, and they were attentive to my concerns and friendly. I plan to use them going forward if possible. Thanks! John Williams

They handle 800 boats every year with huge storage facilities, heated and unheated. Bought a new…read moreboat from them 13 years ago, a moderate sized SeaRay. Good service overall, with some issues 2 years of the 13. But, those were well handled. NOT this year, as I requested my boat mid-May with down payment as I usually do. They could not perform until after memorial day! I have heated storage and pay for full service of my boat every year. But being a long term well paying customer is now ignored. When my boat was not ready at Memorial day weekend, I then asked for a short delay for delivery (service could continue). They did nothing to ready my boat. I am now waiting another 1.5+ weeks, hopefully to get the boat. New ownership is not able to keep up with heated storage and full service. I would buy a boat somewhere else if you are expecting loyalty in service.

I've always had a great experience camping here, and have gone each year for about 5 years. We don't care about the pool or wifi, don't care about what kinds of programming for families they may have, or any of the other things camp grounds are pushing these days. We want a somewhat private site, we want to be able to keep our fire going as late as we want (as long as it is under control), and we want to be able to keep our music playing at a reasonable level. We have never been told to put out our fire during quiet hours, or to turn off our music. We can stay up all night having a great time by the fire and playing cards without being broken up, but everyone plays by the same rules meaning it is not a wild place and we have never encountered other sites being too loud for our enjoyment. If you're looking for some old fashioned camping - even in an RV - where you can enjoy being outside with good company all night, this is a great spot. The staff has always been pleasant as well and the rates are comparable to nearby grounds.

Clearwater has a lake, but the lots are more jammed packed and not as spacious. Clearwater seems to be more family friendly with a playground, lake, etc. Meredith is more laid back and quiet. Meredith also has an indoor pool and hot tub which is nice. The staff at both places were very friendly and both have a nice store. We drove over to Clearwater to spend the day on the beach/lake. We rented kayaks which were very decently priced ($6 single, $12 double for 2 hrs.). The water was very clear and the beach was pretty large. The only downside to our camp site was a fence beside us. It made it feel a bit less woodsy. I also felt they could clean up around the store and grounds a bit. It looks a bit rundown. Same with the docks at Clearwater. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. We would stay here again!

There is no parking along the road leading to the beach, and there are no other roads. So unless you know someone who lives by the beach and can park at their house, you have to have pass--the same one used for the transfer station. This beach is perfect for little kids! It's kind of a hidden jewel and I'm sure the town wants it to stay that way. I have been here twice. The water only ever gets to just above my waist-I am 5'3-within the boundaries. There are two bathrooms and slides/swings for when the kids need to switch it up. There are picnic tables and some shaded areas. It's a small beach but it's my favorite and I wish non-residents could purchase a pass because I would in a heart beat. My kids and I love this beach.

There is ample shade provided by tall pines. The bottom of the lake is mostly clay not mud, which provides comfortable footing and cleaner water than many other lakes. The parking lot can be somewhat limited, particularly when two impromptu Saturday birthday parties are going on. There is one whole bathroom. Unfortunately, this beach has a 'smoking friendly "section"' which is "adjacent to handicapped parking." A few disgusting smokers were taking advantage of lax rules by not disposing of their filters properly, and not adhering to personal space boundaries. There was substantial litter from children's juice boxes, as well. Gross! Fortunately, there is a long enough beach to carve out a small space away from these ash holes. Many people arrived at the beach via boat or jet ski instead of driving. The beach was great fun for families and I would return.
