Called this year and were advised it has changed ownership. The new owner Jack needed to call us back to discuss the trip. We have now called numerous times and sent multiple emails in addition to reaching out of Facebook. Just this morning, we called again to be advised by a person that "jack" has to call us back. She advised she told reminded Jack numerous times.... Sad, as this was a real gem.

Even with the low water level there were still some swimming holes along the way. I would say water shoes of some sort are a must for this. Also we grabbed some large sticks at the beginning which helped us push off rocks and away from some of the shallow sections. Was very beautiful and relatively inexpensive for a day of fun. It took us about 3.5 hours and we didn't stop. But there are definitely spots along the river to stop and eat a packed lunch if you bring one.

This time our group was even bigger--we brought seven family members and our dog--and everyone had an amazing time! The Saco River is absolutely beautiful, the float is relaxing, and it's the perfect way to spend a summer day making memories with the people you love. A special thank you to Sarah at registration for making check-in so easy and welcoming, to our awesome bus driver for getting everyone safely to the launch with a smile, and to the entire team for keeping everything organized and running smoothly. The tubes are comfortable and well-maintained, the staff is genuinely friendly, and the whole place has such a fun, laid-back vibe that makes you want to come back year after year. Fun songs, dad jokes told better, and I love to her say "Keep paddlin." Lori "Loves to SURF" . This is the best time in the Hudson. We spent several minutes in "Fluffy Box" and she even got the raft turned around!!! We also made it into Bus Stop and got in some good surf there as well. But wait - there's more! We went down Jiffy Pop Backwards!!!!! Bestest Ginger snaps and other super healthy lunch options too, washed down with yummy hibiscus pink tea. So - if you want the small company vibe that cares about you as a participant and partner, Square Eddy is the way to go.

In the short amount of time we spent with the owners, we got to know them and their friends very well. Linc was our guide and he was full of knowledge and information. He was also a tremendous guide as far as rafting is concerned. The lunch we all shared was homemade and delicious. The cookies we had were incredible. The fresh fruit was a nice touch too. In total there were 4 rafts and approximately 20 people. We didn't need to wait around for anyone and the entire operation felt smooth and well-planned. We had a phenomenal time and highly recommend this activity.

there was no info about where to go for check in. a young worked said "take these boards" and did…read morenot ask if we knew what we were doing (luckily we have paddled before). there was no safety strap for the ankle, which is not wise in choppy water. the water was quite choppy with the wind and no one advised of this, making coming back quite difficult and time consuming. these safety concerns might make you think twice if you are not an experienced paddler.
