OMG! This was so much fun! I went a group of girls for bachelorette trip and while most of the girls thought they didn't like the idea of getting in the water and doing something physical, we ALL ended up having a great time. Lots of laughter, lots of falling into the water lol. Our short little ride over with Captain Jake was so much fun. He joked with some of the girls and was so friendly and played us some country music. I would definitely recommend bring water shoes with the grip at the bottom. Those will definitely help you through the course. There's also a food truck on site and a bar. The one of associates recommended the strawberry daiquiri and it was delicious! Now make sure you ask them to swirl the flavors because you then can have best of both worlds! We ended up swirling strawberry and mango together! Yum!

We visited for Labor Day weekend with our kiddos ages 7,9,15 . They all had a blast. The life jackets were comfortable. The whole staff was so welcoming and fun. The food was surprisingly great. Would reservation was at 12pm and we stayed until closing. The course lasts 45mins and after that you have access to the four stand alone inflatables and the floating picnic tables until you decide to go home We paid for another course which was only $10, we did the 4pm slot and our family was the only one on the course which was so enjoyable. 10/10 recommend coming here with your kiddos. Will be back next summer! I would say that you must be a pretty active person for this. You take stairs up and down from the boat ride and also up and down from the course. We had to piggy back our 7yr old on the way back because she was exhausted . The course does put your balance, flexibility and agility to the test so expect to be sore the next few days

Honestly the most fun I've had in months.. maybe years! I was giggling like a child the entire time. You do have to wear life jackets but I would say being comfortable in the water and a strong swimmer are important. I would recommend getting there an hour earlier than your time slot... swimming in the open side for an hour, going to the obstacle course for your assigned time slot, and then playing again in the open zone. This will help you get your moneys worth! They have free lockers available, a bar, food, restrooms, lounge chairs, etc. Again, SO MUCH FUN! definitely worth the money!

Fair prices on food - the pizza rolls are bomb!

What an amazing place! At first I was a bit annoyed that there wasn't a spectator price since I wasn't planning on doing the obstacle course, but once there I realized how that was just one part of the experience. Also for parents that don't use your band, someone else can use it, and you can also purchase additional time on the course for $10. The grounds are super clean (I actually watched the owner picking up trash), they have great pathways and white sand, lots of chairs and umbrellas for shade, great prices at the food truck, lawn space for the kids to throw the football around, tetherball and a few other games, super clean bathrooms, and the staff was beyond friendly and helpful. In fact, while chatting with them they literally raved about how great their boss was, how hands on he was, etc... It was clear how much they respected him and to me, I have a lot more respect for a business knowing the ownership is good to the staff. I took seven kids and no one wanted to leave. We will definitely be back!

My husband and I visited for our 3rd wedding anniversary. It was such a good time and very relaxing. Everyone was incredibly friendly, it was easy to find, the boat and shuttles were constantly running so you don't have to wait for long to get back to your car. Expect to get wore out from all of the fun your having and the walking from the dock to your shuttle! This is a great family activity. However, you have to be taller than 45inches and 7 years of age or older. This can be an inconvenience, but they do it for your safety. There is an obstacle course that you get a 45 minute time slot to go on as many times as you want, and then after that you are able to swim on the slide, diving area, trampoline, and rock climbing area for the rest of the day. They have bathrooms, a food truck, a bar for those who are 21+ and plenty of chairs. They also have cornhole boards to pay as well!

This place is awesome for adults and kids. Had a blast on the obstacle course and could not stop laughing. They have drinks and food and places where you can layout so it makes for a great all day activity. The floating tables where cool but could use some cleaning. It is frustrating that they make everyone get out of the water every hour but overall we really enjoyed our time here. All employees where very friendly and the food was decent!

Iceberg is white. Slide is blue and white.
    Desiree M.

Yeah the obstacles are fun and the place is set up pretty well. Everybody is nice so 3 stars. However, the first time we went we could climb onto mats to get on the slide and iceberg obstacles and this time there was no mat. So you had to either be an adult or really strong or have help to get on these... NOT FAIR Man! Where did the mat go?

My daughter's birthday party at Waterloo was a blast! Can't wait to go back. Clean, super friendly staff, laid-back venue for the Mom's, great food options. Can't ask for more!

WATERLOO YAAAAA WHHOOOO !!! So much fun! The obstacle course was HILARIOUS! We were so surprised with the island of water Adventures! All the staff were awesome .. especially Captain Wade & Captain Jack. Thanks to Lilly for the awesome transport to the adventures and all the recommendations (Lilly we ate at Guerros taco bar lol ) Waterloo is fun for the whole family.. we definitely started out our bachelorette weekend great! Thanks Waterloo

    Fun place!

Fun place! My teen son and friends really enjoyed it. Word of caution, there are maybe 30 or more very steep stairs on the side of a cliff just to reach the chairs, food trucks & bathrooms. Once you're there, you have to go back down the stairs to reach the water activities then back up the stairs to get your stuff in the lockers. If you have knee or back problems, could be challenging. Overall a fun place!

Let me preface by saying I never write bad reviews. But for safety reasons I had to write this one,…read moreand if you don't have time to read it all let me just start by saying please just go literally anywhere else for your child's safety. So first of all, there are 4 larger water slides. And probably 3 or so smaller ones. They have a total of 2 lifeguards on watch. One lifeguard sits at a chair "watching over" the smaller, right side of the park. And the other one switching between the top of the larger water slides every so often depending on which is busier. There are multiple lifeguards but only 2 out on the park floor at a time, all very young teenagers. Not a single adult working there. I think that is a huge problem in itself but let me go on. I watched my 4 yr old like a hawk the whole time we were there because the lifeguards obviously weren't paying attention, lots of older kids running around, etc. I watch my son go down the larger slide. I'm waiting at the bottom for him for 5 minutes. Still hasn't came out. I go to the top to look down the slide where there should've been a lifeguard but no one to be found. I go to the lifeguard sitting in the chair at the front and tell him that my 4 yr old went down and has not came out yet and I think he's stuck in the slide. He ARGUES WITH ME and says "no I've been watching and there's no one in the slide" UMMMM WHAT?!! Obviously realizing they could care less about my child or any children there, and I don't have time to argue because I'm worried about my 4 yr old, I rush back to the top of the slide and go down it and what do u know, my son was stuck in the middle of the pitch black loop of the slide, terrified and crying. This is totally unacceptable, I don't even have words. Hopefully that's enough to let you know this is not the place to go but if not, let me move on to my next complaint. There was a group of older kids constantly trying to climb up the larger water slides in the back that no one can see unless you walk back there. Which in the 3 hours I was there not one lifeguard walked back there or even glanced to check on anything. The first time I notified the lifeguard about the kids going up the slide, she went back there and told them that's not allowed. Then they kept doing it and multiple other parents complained as well. The second time I complained that they were still doing it and almost seriously injured my 4 yr old, the lifeguard said "oh I know I already told them to stop". Ummmm okay??? So you're just going to keep letting them do it putting all the other kids at danger?? At MINIMUM their parent should've been notified but in my opinion they should've been asked to leave after the 3rd complaint/telling them to stop. Honestly I could go on and on but I don't have all day. I truly just hope they increase the amount of lifeguards and hire experienced lifeguards that actually care about children's safety and at minimum have one adult employee on-site.

So focused on customer satisfaction that a slight delay on the slides was placed while my husband, some other adult, and a life guard went "diving " for a lost watch in the exit pool! My toddler enjoys the shaded kiddie area, and my little guys enjoy the deeper sections and small water slides. The annual pass for a family is a bargain, Perhaps it would be nice if Cat Hollow had a bigger, windier water slide or a zero-entry pool for the kids. Maybe a few more splash pad features or a reliable snack and drink machine would be cool. That said, as far as water-filled holes in the ground go, this one is pretty darn good.

This caused my booking to be cancelled and I had to rebook and reverify. VERY inconvenient but everything got worked out. When you pay $900+ per night you don't want to be inconvenienced while trying to book. The Reserve is a nice community, but like all managed "premier planned" suburban areas they are very Nazi-ish with rules and enforcement. Again, when you're paying over $900 per night it's very off-putting and insulting to constantly be reminded of the rules. They treat you like you're a college kid trying to sneak and throw a frat party while you're parents are away for the weekend. Our rental even had cameras on the house that were actively being monitored (details below). VALUE: I don't normally complain about price so I won't do it here. Let's just say that this place is expensive. I voluntarily paid the money but it's a high price. HOUSE: Nice place, very clean. Premium decor - Texas modern rustic. Complimentary prosecco in the fridge upon arrival was a nice touch. Bring your own food/drinks/condiments (salt, pepper, etc.)/ice. All utensils for just about any kind of cooking and everything needed to have nice dinner parties were there. We had an issue with POOL: I did a cabana rental for 2 days at $50 per day. Rentals include a complimentary pitcher of beer or margarita per day. Pool was nice and in good shape. Lazy river, kids pool and infinity pool as well as swim up bar and snack bar are all part of the pool. You aren't allowed to bring any alcoholic beverages, food, or coolers into the pool area. They did allow us to bring an individual cup or water bottle. They will search your bags for food/alchohol/etc. if you bring large bags. LOCATION: Be prepared to drive 40 minutes to anywhere. There's enough restaurants, entertainment, etc. 45 minutes away. All-in-all this was a good place to stay. The main reason this is not a 5-Star review is because I was contacted by TurnKey with a threatening call because the management/owner were watching us on the Arlo/Netgear camera (Nazi-ish) on the back patio (there's a camera on the front porch and back patio) and thought that one of my guests was on the back patio smoking. None of us are smokers and it was insulting for them to accuse us of smoking (I'll say it again for emphasis... when you're paying over $900 per night).

This was the nicest marina I have seen in the Austin area for sure! I could tell everything is taken care of with the utmost care possible. The marina is treated somehow as well so that the cobwebs and spiders don't take over your boat and slip area, which is super nice and convenient. There is also room for outdoor kitchens and patio furniture at the front of each slip. People have grills and stuff out there too. I gathered that it is a thing to just hang out at your slip area and cook out with your friends and family and you may or may not even take the boat out. After we took the boat out and came back in we road the golf cart up to the lazy river. This is where it really started to feel like a resort for me. They have a decent sized lazy river that is so much fun! There is a swim up bar on one side and the bar opens to the deck area on the other side. There are plenty of tables to sit at and chase lounge chairs in the sun and shaded for total comfort and relaxing. I had a few perfectly made margaritas from the bar and had a wonderful time hanging out with my family and floating the lazy river! The Reserve property is actually pretty huge! They also have cabins you can rent out, tennis courts and a park area. There is lots of places to hike around as well. This would be the perfect family get away spot and it is not too far from other cool outdoor things like Krause Springs, Hamilton Pool Park and of course Lake Travis!
