It started with the nail tech being distracted with other things, which resulted in the water overflowing in my bowl and making a huge mess. It took about fifteen minutes for them to clean it up. Next, I asked her several times to please cut my nails shorter, and it was like she didn't hear me. And I know she understood English because she spoke it well. They were not trimmed nearly short enough. Next, the "massage". It lasted about a minute. And, she pressed too hard to the point of where it hurt. Lastly, I get home and I notice the nails on my left foot are longer than the right. And, the polish was not the color I chose. I should have paid more attention before I left but I just wanted to get out of there. I will be going to another salon to fix what she did.

I choose a classic/regular and to not use a razor or anything on my feet but, as soon I declined and went with the regular $30 service, she scrubbed each foot for a solid 2 minutes and concluded the entire pedicure in 15 minutes. This was the shortest pedicure I've ever had. The leg massage lasted longer. I asked for a different nail technician to complete my nails, because I'm big on customer service. Any service selected by a customer should be good enough to provide quality service. Otherwise, it shouldn't be offered. Additionally, they don't use the sanitary bags for the pedicure; so I was a bit hesitant. The nail service was much better, but still just ok. Unless I am in dire need of getting my nails done (definitely not pedicure), I will choose a salon that's not in leesburg. I think I've tried a solid 6 now.

I was serviced by Lili and was in the chair for about two hours for acrylic tips with gel. She took her time and paid close attention to detail in every step. Even though I chose a single color with no art, she was extremely careful not to get polish on my skin and made sure every nail was smooth, clean, and bubble-free. During shaping, she was gentle and precise. I told her I didn't want that typical "hump" many salons build into acrylics. I prefer a more natural look and she absolutely nailed it. These are the most natural-looking acrylics I've ever had, and I've visited a lot of salons. My only concern was sanitation. Lili did nick me a couple of times while filing, and I didn't notice any tools being sanitized or individually wrapped the way they usually are in NY salons. The nail file also didn't appear to be disposable, although it looked fairly new. It didn't affect my overall experience, but it did make me a bit nervous simply because I'm used to stricter hygiene practices. (Update: its been a few days and the cuts have not gotten worse. The nail tech applied to 257, I did not notice until he already started applying the color. That would be my fault for not speaking up. Now where it gets interesting is the polished change for my toes. He did a terrible job. Did not file and did not buff them just simply applied the polish after barely removing the old gel polish I was charged $50 for the nail fill that's fine $15 for the polish change and five dollars for a removal! Absolutely nothing was removed!
