The campground is wide open with a beautiful view of the lake. The grounds are kept immaculate and it is so quite and peaceful even though it's not very private. The bathrooms are clean and well stocked and the host was around even day checking on things. She was wonderful! We loved our stay and our campsite. Can't wait to be back!

I loved my site with trees secluding me from my adjacent neighbors. I biked all around the site and lake. The lake looked awesome for swimming, fishing and boating access. I saw several playgrounds for young kids. Each of three campgrounds had their own wash house. The one, near my campsite, was really nice! The campground was well maintained and clean. They allow pets but please note most sites don't have RV hookups. Price after fees was $36.25/night.

My kids, ages 11 and 13 survived even though there was no cell coverage. Do not depend on the campground's WiFi connection, if you can call it a connection. Definitely, need to upgrade that amenity. Our group of 4 families all had buddy sites together, which was very nice. Our site was on an incline and needed extra blocks for leveling but was still a good sized site. Would consider coming back for a short weekend stay but would tell my family back at home that we will be off the grid.

We found this place on google maps and called ahead. The owner explained that our 40 ft box truck would fit in several of the spaces and we were welcome. We pulled in and the entire space was clean, well manicured and stunning. The owner helped us pick a spot we loved and we got set up. Unfortunately something was wrong with our truck and we couldn't get power on so we were not able to stay, she refunded our entire payment and invited us back anytime. There were no kayaks as advertised and the 2 paddle boats were in very bad shape. Dog droppings created a mine field around the pond and dock. Most of the sites were seasonal campers. the sites that remained were unshaded and very close together. Thankfully no one was next to us or I don't think we would have been able to roll out our awning. We requested E/W/S but did not get a sewer hookup. Thankfully there is an on-site dumping station. Our granddaughters were not allowed to use the restroom at 8:30 am because it was being "cleaned". They were told to come back at 9:00. This campground is listed as a Jellystone Resort. Jellystone needs to check them out because this campground does not live up to their standards. Needless to say, we will not be back.
