I'm just going to settle on 3 stars here, an average of all my experiences. Long story short, if…read moreyou go to the ER while you are here or shortly after, you have to immediately return with a copy of a doctor's note or email it. You need to do this asap and specify freezes on all services. If you have Kids Klub, END IT. I went to Vivian who was there the last time I had an ER visit a couple years ago: this past December, I was injured again suddenly on site during a training appointment (due to my body/health situation, not my trainer or an exercise injury) and I let her know I was getting a ride to the ER this time instead of an ambulance, since it was a was a touch less urgent. She was responsive this day and seemed to enter the freezes correctly. I dropped off the first note 2 days later to support a freeze for a couple months since a major surgery would get scheduled. I was told I had an 8" growth and cancer in my blood and had to wait the entire winter holidays for further info until doctors were back in the hospital. A few weeks later the billing began... I called Vivian and mentioned my bank was informed of my condition and knew to not pay the bills until a certain date. She laughed and said I'd be billed later anyways. I felt like "I have cancer again, I could die this time with this huge growth. She's laughing at me." I know it was not personal, but forgive me, I'll never forget the feeling of thinking I might die and getting this is the response while asking for help. My health is poor after surviving breast cancer treatments in 2020 and they wrecked parts of my body but eradicated an aggressive form of breast cancer. I don't want to go into how bad the type is, but the odds are very bad with that type and they use the highest doses of their most aggressive chemo to eradicate the cancer. That's why I struggle and have gone to the ER twice in a couple years. But working out improves my condition, so it's essential. I'm so glad I found out a few days later that the current ER test was a misdiagnosis. I eventually received a big surgery, recovered and called in to sort out the bills that were waiting for me. Because I was experienced in navigating the disorganized billing practices, it was a smaller bill this time. I reached a teleservice rep who had her manager Mark look into it and it was fixed after 3 phone calls for a full refund. I know it's not personal. But I've decided that clearly this is not customer service at all. This is just workers, protecting themselves and the company and you just have to advocate super quick, do the footwork and calls and take notes, document, stay on it, trust nothing, stay positive and confirm and be persistent. Most businesses exhibit hospitality and customer service at an average level. Often if a medical incident occurs you'll get a compassionate response and excellent customer care. Not here, you will get compassion at first and solutions that fall through. Then they will lose confidence and be strained but still attempt to help. Eventually, it requires an escalation and manager intervention to correct the situation. The in-gym customer service experience will be good about situational things like everyday interactions. But if your issue has ANYTHING to do with billing, there is no safety net no matter how serious your medical situation. Had I only had a normal membership instead of a training membership too, I probably could have just canceled or never been the wiser. I'm actually hopeful no one ever has to experience this zone that they are weak at. But if you do, stay flexible, positive, and stay on it. Good luck and good health! I saw billing fees,

Okay so I know about these tennis courts for a very long time . Actually since I was a little…read morechild. However I never really came here that often because it is out of my way. First thing I want to say about these tennis courts is that they're fairly decent. They have ample parking space and they have about four full-sized tennis courts. The surface of the courts are in decent shape. The nets are also in decent shape. There are benches located all around the entire premises. There's even a pickleball court and two sets of backboards for people to practice on or to get a good exercise/workout. The one thing I noticed about the tennis courts is that during the morning hours from about 9:00 a.m. to noon, there seems to be a ton of people here playing tennis. I believe they may even have local leagues playing tournament style because all of the players in the morning look like they have been playing for many years. If you want to come here and be able to have some space for your own to practice your form or other kinds of different techniques, or if you want to coach somebody or your children and just want enough space to do that, the best time to do that is between 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. after about 4:00 p.m. I do notice that it tends to pick up just a little bit period people who get off of work during that time coming to play and about a quarter to half of the courts will be occupied at that time too. The only real graph I will have about this place is that there really isn't anyone here I think that keeps the courts clean as with any other tennis court in Vallejo. But the good part about that is you'll find many tennis balls just lying around and it's free so if you're in need of tennis balls and you're just starting off there's nothing wrong with that . A second thing I noticed is that at the very back of the parking lot I do notice from time to time there are random cars that just park there and people just kind of hang around in that area. I'm not too sure about how it is during the late evening hours but if you're coming alone and kind of feel insecure I would probably avoid coming very late especially if you're the only one and cannot defend for yourself. Otherwise this court is really good

What I love about this spot is it is perfect for my reactive dog - the small trail loops allow you to walk your dog and see any potential critters or people far off so we are never surprised. The paths are in good condition and well cared for. There are a few areas you can get down to the water, just be aware some of the areas can be cut off by a high tide (you can check tide charts online to avoid any issues). We love the smaller beach because it feels almost like your personal beach but we like to go in the mornings so I imagine it's probably more populated later in the day.

I had been curious what was on the Solano side since I've only explored Benicia before but not the vast open space I kept seeing in the distance. That was really the only reason I came across the Carquinez Bridge to visit this park which turned out to be more of a natural open space with a network of dirt trails with scenic views. There's also a public beach that attracts a lot of locals, obviously the main draw here. Perhaps because it's located within a standard suburban residential neighborhood, the park doesn't feel quite as lush as the Contra Costa side, but you get a clearer view of the bridge since there are several grassy promontories with their own spur trails. The park melts into the Benicia State Recreation Area which offers its own rocky shoreline and eastward views toward Martinez. So now I know the Carquinez Strait from both sides now, and I guess that's how it cuts both ways. RELATED - Up for a hike? And I do not say that lightly. As soon as you enter through the castle doors, you are transported into a mini Disneyland found in Vallejo, CA. As someone who was raised in this city, I did not expect this. This park truly Wow'd me for several reasons. One, the uniqueness of the play structures. There's a handful of them including a tea cup/ tea pot area, train station and train, pirate ship, pumpkin carriage and more. Our personal favorite; the tea cup with the connected slide, so fun!! My family and I easily spent two hours here. You can also book some spots for parties. I highly recommend checking out the GVRD's website. Theres shaded gazebos and many picnic tables. They even have story time and other events here. Theres a parking lot available and hours as well. They are closed on Tuesdays. 100 out of 10 recommend this park.
