English Stone is one of those rare companies that strives to exceed your expectations. In order to…read moresupport this statement let's talk about the four Ps. Project: We had an ugly, weed infested rock garden on a hill adjacent to the back of our home with a rotted and leaning retaining wall ready to collapse. The hill area needed leveling and reshaping, then weed barrier, rocks, and shrubs planted. The retaining wall is now made of interlocking stones and is completely level. We also added a circular yard stone patio with a stone fire pit and grill in the center. Our backyard now has an old English stone flare and is very classy. People: Joel met with us initially and followed through with us and the workers until the end. He has a very positive energy, is passionate about his company's products and services, but not pushy to the customer. He had great ideas for our project and actually did more for us than what was expected. The workers were skilled craftsmen, second to none, with great experience and great attitudes. I would not hesitate recommending them to work their trade even at the Governor's mansion. Pricing: This part surprised us as we thought the project would cost more than it actually did. Process:T he work was consistent, starting sooner than we hoped, and was constant to completion with every detail addressed. After the new grass has grown in, we will be adding pictures. This is a dream come true for us, and we want this review to help you find your own miracle with English Stone.

From the very beginning, they listened to our wishes, provided innovative design suggestions, and came up with beautiful palettes for us to choose from. The original options were not quite what we wanted, so we discussed and they came up with new options for us to consider. Throughout the remodel process, their teams of subcontractors were truly top-notch. Not only did they do amazing work for us, they were also very respectful of our home and our family. The DiGiacomos did a great job of keeping us informed of every step of the process from start to finish, and had just the right balance of including us in the important decisions and taking care of all of the little details for us. They were able to keep things moving along, and stayed within our budget. If ever an issue arose, Rocky was on it immediately. As busy working people, we truly appreciated knowing someone else was watching over every aspect of this project, moving it along, and never once did we doubt that everything would be handled perfectly. Our remodel project finished ahead of schedule, on budget, and was a completely positive experience throughout the process. When do you ever hear that?? We enjoyed and fully appreciated working with DiGiacomo Homes for our remodel. Our space is now much more family-friendly and stunningly gorgeous! Thank you, Rocky & Gigi!

Owen met with us for over an hour and based on our discussion, drew up some sketches to give us ideas for what we might do with the space. He was a careful listener and a creative problem solver. We will definitely turn to Kyle for our future painting and small carpentry projects. Very poor support during hardwood refinishing process…read more Initial refinishing was done with us out of town with no prior consultation on stain color and not even a mention of what finish we wanted (oil was selected for us without asking). They were gracious enough to redo but second experience was just as bad. I expressed a lot of concerns with making sure we were confident on stain and finish before proceeding. Leading up to redo I was told I had white oak floors (which was incorrect and misled our decision making) and had a in person consultation appointment essentially deemed a waste of time by Phil and cancelled. When it came time to redo floors, I received a call from Phil the night of sanding that demanded I make a decision on stain/finish choice right away so they could move on to another job, despite not all stain/finish options having even been applied yet (they forgot to bring water based options). The next day more samples were put down but I had little time to decide, or see how they looked in different lighting conditions which was an explicit request I had prior to the rework being done. I was also mistakenly told that the floor look I was trying to achieve (my previous floors before all of this) was an oil based finish which I later found out was water based instead. Now after sanding my floors twice I'm stuck with a look that is even worse than before and not what I was trying to achieve. This has been the worst experience I've ever had with a company and the lack of support during the entire refinishing process, especially by the owner Phil during the remedy process, is something I hope nobody else has to go through. I wish I would've went with another company, even if meant paying for the work twice, if it allowed for better support and more time to decide on stain and finish.
