I am a trained dental assistant but choose not to continue in the field. So my viewpoint comes from both sides, patients, and assistants. As a former assistant, the office has a well-educated and friendly staff and State of the art facility all in one location. Dr. Rivera is educated, has a personal desire to provide the Conroe area with quality dental care. They take into account a patient's budget and give options to help you provide for dental family care. I am one of those people who believe you get what you pay for and when it comes to my dental health Lake Conroe Dentistry is my choice. I am a patient. Ps. I never work for any DDS office in Tx read more

I walked out of there for my appointment. My insurance has changed and the person working front desk said she did not have time to change it, and said she would have to cancel my appointment. I told her I would never be back if she could not take 5 minutes to put in new insurance and she just shrugged. I ask if the manager was there and she said no, she was the only one there and she was the assistant manager. I will NEVER to back read more

I have received excellent care from Dr. Javed and team, my teeth have never looker better, the hygienists are very throrough and everyone in the office is super sweet. I recommend to my friends. read more

Came in for a check up/ 6 month cleaning--office wanted me to do a special deep clean costing over a $1000!!! When I declined, I learned that they will not clean your teeth at all!! They take the money for the visit but won't. They state that it could dislodge some debris's causing possible risk for infection--TOLD ME TO GO TO ANOTHER OFFICR IF I DIDNT LIKE IT. Office went as far as say LEGALLY couldn't touch it--so I asked "...so it is better to leave it than at least do a general clean?" So guess what??? I went ahead and took the office's recommendation--I found another local dentist that does do the traditional general cleaning regardless if you decline their recommendation for a deeper clean. Very disappointed in Lake Conroe Dentistry behaved--worst part of it all, it was said to me in front of other clients--completely embarrassing me and it was so unprofessional!!! read more

I would not recommend this place. The staff is extremely unprofessional. Gossiping and calling clients names and laughing like they are teenagers on drugs. They were running 30 minutes behind for my appointment so unprofessional. read more

I rarely leave negative reviews, but Lake Conroe Dentistry has earned every bit of this one. My experience was a frustrating, disorganized mess from start to finish. They scheduled me for multiple appointments- that I wasn't even in Texas for, only to completely drop the ball on what I was actually there for -- my retainers. Not only did I never receive the retainers, but they had the audacity to charge me for them anyway. When I brought it up, I was met with zero accountability and a front desk staff that seemed more interested in avoiding responsibility than helping patients. Speaking of the front desk, the staff is, frankly, terrible. Disorganized, rude, and completely unprofessional. I was cut off multiple times, given conflicting information, and treated like an inconvenience for asking about services I had already paid for. Save yourself the headache, there are far better, more competent practices out there. Lake Conroe Dentistry is a textbook example of how not to run a healthcare office. read more

Really wish I would have read these previous reviews prior to my visit. Will never go back! Not only is the front desk rude and no help whatsoever. They told me my price of treatment over the phone and go in and it's $100 more than I was told. Come to find out they didn't even send my insurance paperwork with regarding the procedure prior (even though they said they did but my insurance has nothing from them) so that I had to pay the full amount. What a scam!! My so-called "deep cleaning". Now they won't answer my calls. I've never had a worse experience with a dental office read more

I had my exam and the dental hygienist recommended a $375 cleaning and the doctor said he agreed with her. I had one several years back and it didn't help. I requested not to have one and was told next time I would have to have it. Who runs the office? Not the doctor and not the patient. Don't waste your time or money with this office! read more

The actual dentists are ok. After yo are gone they WILL over charge your insurance and try to get you to over pay for your work. They will tell you that you need more work than you do or even say they 'completed' work they never did. Then whoever the troll of a human being works their accounting/billing will lie to you, deceive you and Your insurance to again drive up costs. They are terrible if Zero was a option I'd put it. read more

Lake Conroe Dentistry - Thank you for my beautiful smile ! - Cosmetic Dentists Near Me - Conroe, Texas

From the front office to the deception of the purpose of the visit. No one was at the front desk when I walked in, stood there for a while before they acknowledged me. Had an appt at 10am for a cleaning, they still had me there at 11:30 and after their assessment said I would have to return at 1:30pm that day. NEVER AGAIN!!! Not to mention they said I needed to get $1200 worth of deep cleaning. Absolutely insane. I go to the dentists for routine cleaning every 6 months and have never been told this before. This place is just a money grab. Come to find out, I came to read the reviews after my experience and they are all the same type of bad reviews. This place is horrible!!! Their attitude was also bad after I told them I was passing on the $1200 cleaning and just wanted the routine cleaning offered by my dental insurance. read more

Worst dentist ever went for a cleaning they did a ton of X-rays cutting my mouth extensively then proceeded to tell me that I had extreme gum disease and bone loss and needed expensive treatments I have gone to my regular dentist twice a year for the past 25 years (moved here and wanted someone closer than Houston)there is no indication on my last X-rays and exam that I have any issues then they proceeded to tell me they could not do the cleaning that day and I would have to come back I specifically said I was coming for a cleaning when I made the appointment I left with nothing done. The kicker to all this is they charged my insurance $845 for this consult when the lady at the front desk specifically said we do not bill for X-rays because we have our own X-ray thingy Whatever that meant Please read other reviews there are several that have had my same experience read more

Lake Conroe Dentistry - Review - Cosmetic Dentists Near Me - Conroe, Texas

Dr Rivera and staff are absolute angels! I went to them with the worst toothache I've ever experienced, they treated me gently and was very careful and considerate while taking X-rays and explaining the next steps. I admit that Lake Conroe Dentistry was not the first dentist I visited for my toothache, as i wanted a second opinion due to the first dental office wanted to remove THREE TEETH!! Dr Rivera told me he would make every effort to save my teeth and that is exactly what he did! He was very informative during the entire procedure, extremely gentle and made sure I was completely comfortable the entire visit. The entire staff provided the same care and assistance for the almost 2 hour procedure, making sure every detail was covered. Dentist visits are not the most desirable place to spend an afternoon, but I can assure you - Lake Conroe Dentistry takes every effort to ease your anxiety and have the absolute most pleasant dental experience! I can only give 5 stars, but this team deserves at least double that!! read more

New to area and looking for local dentist to do my regular 6 months exam and cleaning. They were pretty sure upfront that they were not going to do the cleaning as they mentioned "if" they could do the cleaning. They said I required some expensive deep cleaning and would have to come back every three months. They also told me I had stage III grade be gum disease. I sought second and third opinions which both confirmed that this was garbage. I wouldn't take my dog to this practice, they want your money and that's about it. read more

Avoid this place at all costs. Nothing but a big money grab. Im new to the area and had an emergency and they had the soonest opening so I didn't have much of a choice. They charged me almost $3000 for a root canal and 2 crowns not to mention a laundry list of other items like a $900 deep cleaning. This was only my portion AFTER the insurance kicked in. EXTREMELY overpriced and the so called "health coordinator" at the front desk is purely there to take your money she offers no explanation of charges. Every time I went back I had to pay another out of pocket charge for something else that my insurance "just didn't cover, not sure why..." like what? Isn't that your job to explain this to me?! I even went to get quotes and another dentist that isn't even in my network offered pricing at literally almost half of what they are charging here. Read all of the other reviews - they are true and do not come here! read more

My wife had a lot of work done on her teeth, they replaced some very old implants and deep cleaning and gum work. She hates going to the dentist, but, these guys made her feel comfortable and she really didn't mind going at all. They did a great job and her teeth look great. The staff are really fun and professional, they handled her with kid gloves. I was so impressed, I'm booking to have some work done myself. read more

This place is something else. I recently made an appointment and need about 20K in work and told them this. I provided my info and ins number and phone number and they set appointment for 1 today. On phone they said someone may call for more info, no problem, no one called and I arrive for my appointment at 1. I check in and the 2 women say yeah you had an appointment at 1 but we need way more much information. Huh? You have insurance and my name and number, I am here for an exam and treatment plan and no one called me. She says yeah I called several times, I said yeah why no message? She eads off my number and its wrong number, I read off my number and she says oh yeah that one, ok why no message? I called and you voice mail is full. I turned around and walked out. My VM is not full, y phone tells me when it is, I had a vm yesterday and one the previous Friday, nothing from this place. In addition to all this which I am not surprised by. I realized I had been to this place back in 2019 and this is one of two dentist that gave me a quote of 15K-20K in repair work. Unfortunately my first appointment was with an entodontist at their place, they make you make a down payment because they are not licensed and have to bring some clown in, the guy cancelled my appointment while I had a broken tooth. I asked for my money back and they refused and said I would have to make another appointment, I said I dont think so, I am going somewhere else and saving my tooth and shove they money up you you know what. Long story short I am glad they couldn't handle making the appointment. Do not use this place its a strip mall dental lab and unprofessional and greed money driven. Who makes an appointment, cancels and refuses to return your money? And who screws up your appointment and lies about calling? Lake Conroe Dental. Do not ignore all their bad reviews. read more

I had a wonderful experience when I contacted the Lake Conroe Dentistry today. I had been referred to a periodontist because my general dentist was unable to find out what was causing a problem with one of my back teeth. The particular tooth and question was covered by a bridge. I felt like it was infected, but my regular dentist could find no evidence of that. So, when I contacted Lake Conroe Dentistry they were actually able to see me on an emergency basis today. They did a panoramic view of the problem area. I had a large infection behind one of my second molars. Dr. Cabrera showed me the area of infection. He came up with a treatment plan and a plan going forward. I was particularly impressed with the way all of the staff listen to their patients. Every single person I spoke with, was very respectful. Dr. Cabrera answered all of my questions and gave me information In great detail. I have now found my new dental office! They obviously care about their patients. They do all sorts of dental work like dental cleanings, crowns, bridges, etc. They also have specialized services like Periodontal, Endodontist, etc. Thank you so much for taking care of my dental in Emergency today. You have won me over. You have a new client! If you want complete care for your teeth and a dental office that really knows what they are doing, this is the place to go. Kudos to all of the staff. It's wonderful to find a very competent group of people helping their patients stay healthy. Thank you again. See you soon! read more

Worst place to go and get your teeth clean. I felt like I was in a car dealership. If you don't accept all the extra services they will put you at the end of the line and make you wait for another appointment. They told my wife she had a gum disease and wanted her to pay thousands of dollars out of pocket. She visited another dentist and did another x-rays to confirm Lake Conroe Dentistry claims and found out there was nothing wrong with her gums. Don't visit this place and save your money. read more

fellow montgomery county employees and residents, do not go here. i went for an emergency visit (3) days ago and am still waiting for some sort of magic mouthwash that is supposed to be the ticket to having a healthy mouth, wrong!!!!. 3 days for a prescription, how ridiculous is that in this day and age. the heinous, derelict dentist who saw me never followed through and approved my prescription. not sure what he thinks his position is as a dentist, obviously just a paycheck, not to help patients. this dentist is supposedly opening a new location in magnolia. **magnolia residents** beware, save your money, stay away!!!!!!! i would highly recommend that patients not waste their money going to these cheap, inconsiderate and just scraped from the bottom of the barrel dentists!!!! read more

I've had routine cleanings every 6 months for years, and I have good dental hygiene at home. Since my regular dentist stopped taking my insurance, I switched to Lake Conroe Dentistry. However, at my first appointment, which was just a new patient check-up and cleaning, the dentist said I needed extensive work that would cost $945 ($3,215 without insurance). They were ready to do the work *that day.* Then they said I could no longer have routine cleanings and would need "deeper" cleanings *every 3 months* at $692 per appointment ($1,765 without insurance). When I asked about just getting my routine cleaning that day (which is completely covered by insurance), the dentist said they couldn't do it because it would make everything worse. The entire office seems to work together to push this message. It was high-pressure and very uncomfortable. I'm the kind of person who always trusts medical professionals, but at this appointment, everything in me was yelling, "LEAVE NOW." It was awkward, but I'm glad I left. read more

Excellent. I had a gum restoration and dr Abdeen was wonderful. Saved 8 or more teeth!

Dr. Rivera is a very personable guy working in what appears to be a State of the art facility. He sits you in his office on your first visit tells you his background, from education to places and facilities he has worked. It all sounded very impressive. I truly thought we had found our new dentist. NOT My wife who has perfect teeth, that are bright white was told she needed several crowns in addition to other extensive dental work. This NUT wanted to charge in the ball park of around 4500 dollars. Next shocker! I was told my son who is in his early teens, who by the way has never had a cavity needed several fillings and his wisdom teeth pulled! This NUT wanted to charge in the ball park of 2500 dollars! Ok on to me! I was in for a real treat! The cost of my repair bill was going to be in the ball park of around 5000 dollars! Had several cavities, several fillings needed to be replaced and needed several crowns. We all just went in for a initial exam as new patients and to have our teeth cleaned! I was shocked to say the least. Oh and by the way that was out of pocket cost after my insurance got jammed for their portion of the bill. I will tell you he has his office staff trained very well to sell his BS. They wanted to immediately start butchering our mouths apart that day! They make a full range of teeth and crowns on site, so you can leave with a butchered mouth and a great smile. Oh and don't forget a empty bank account! To think someone would yank ones teeth needlessly and preform unnecessary dentil work is sickening to say the least! He needs to be reported to the Texas medical board and have his license revoked. We have since gone to another dentist here in Conroe and not one of us needed the dental work Dr. Rivera stated needed to be preformed! You BUTCHER shame on you! read more

The people here used to be so nice. They hired a rude receptionist. Rude rude rude!!! They also can't seem to keep Dr's or staff. Ive paid them thousands of dollars and for what..for them to do semi-good work (which I was told later on that my $300 inlay was not done correctly by one or their previous Dr's). Do not go here unless you want to show up to a scheduled appointment that will probably be canceled without you knowing. All they are good for is collecting money. read more

My wife and I have been rescheduled many times. I think they clear the schedule when they get patients that want to do high dollar repairs the same day. Plis over book appointments too. Also have had those high dollar quotes for fake tooth replacement in the chair and asked if wated to get it all done same day after a cleaning. Just crazy! Looking for a new practice! read more

By far my favorite dentist. Everything is explained to me in great detail. I have had great care and careful consideration for my dental needs going forward. I highly recommend Lake Conroe Dentistry. read more

I came with my gf to her appointment. And to clarify she gets regular cleanings and takes very good care of her mouth. She did her xrays and immediately the dentist had something negative to say. Very typical but, they like to use the word "disease" as a sales tactic. Because hey, if someone tells you have a disease you're more likely to spend a hell of a lot more money. The Dr. was very personable, and reminded me of someone that would sell me my car. His hygienist that helped us was an excellent closer if you fall into the fear tactic, she quoted us $570 for an unnecessary laser treatment and when asked why so much. She said "well if I change this here it'll bring your total down to $270, we just don't like doing that cause it's more work" I am confused on why "more work" costs half the price? Maybe because $270 is the actual cost and the rest is a "bonus" for the salesperson? Lastly, once we said no, we will just do the cleaning and "reschedule" for the "disease" treatment. We were told it would be 40 minutes before they could get to us. I guarantee had we moved forward with the laser treatment, my gf would've been worked on almost immediately. Also recommended she come in every 3 months instead of the regular 6 month cleaning that every other dentist every where recommends. Pathetic and manipulative. You guys need to get out of the healthcare industry, using someone's fear as a way to make money is unethical to say the least. My gf is now using my family's longtime dentist Dr. Green at white oak dental and will never look back at this place. Oh and btw after a new check up with the new dentist. There is no "disease" that salesman rivera said there was. Thankful I was with her to catch on to these roaches. read more

My experience with Lake Conroe dentistry was very pleasant and comforting. The office is clean, conveniently located and uses modern technology. Everyone from the ladies at the front desk, assistants to the doctors were very polite and welcoming. Jessica, the dental assistant was a good patient advocate. Dr. Qureshi was very professional, gentle and focused on patient education. Dr.Rivera was also very friendly and generous. This amazing group of people was able to create a smile that I am confident with for my wedding in just one visit. Definitely recommend them for your dental needs! read more

This is the most poorly run dental practice in the area. On multiple occasions we have shown up at our scheduled time to be informed they had cancelled the cleaning. I have been there three times before and every time it's been a pain getting someone on the phone when I call. You always have to leave a message and hope they call back in a timely manner. This time I needed to cancel my appointment and reschedule...I called twice (leaving voicemail both times) AND sent an email. My phone calls were never returned and my email was not answered. So I've changed dentists. Good luck if you use these guys. read more

I went here for the first time, and I was very impressed! All the staff was wonderful and Dr. Rivera was fantastic! He clearly explained what needed to be done, and he was able to do it during my appt. The office was not pushy with selling extra items/procedures. Someone clearly explained what my insurance would/would not cover too-which was great. Everything was done in a very timely manner too! I will definitely be back!
