Customer beware! Our contract was written to put entire burden on us while allowing LCWR to rent equipment that is not fit for grass (unstable) or moisture (not water/weather proof) assumed during an outdoor wedding. Our wooden picture frames (designed for indoor use but they were inexpensive so we didn't mind using them) were not damaged from rain but somehow their wooden equipment (advertised as adequate for outdoor wedding verbally, via email, and on LCWR website) was damaged and the burden was put on us weeks later - possibly after renting to other parties. LCWR admitted to not having insurance or a warranty on their equipment. The contract seems to be set up for LCWR to profit from weather related "acts of god". The contract calls for LCWR to be immune from "acts of god" but consumer assumes "full responsibility for weather related damages". Read VERY CAREFULLY before signing. Other detailed concerns: 1) Bar was poorly assembled upon delivery. Unstable and falling apart. Groomsmen had to spend 1/2 hr fixing the structure of the bar so it could be moved / hold drinks without falling apart. 2) Dance floor was not assembled properly upon delivery. Groomsmen had to spend 1/2 hr taking floor apart and re-securing pieces back together. Orange caution tape was applied by groomsmen in order to avoid trip hazard created by dance floor which would not stay together. 3) Flatware was delivered dirty and stained by rental company. This was discovered upon wedding day. Groom and family had to wash each piece by hand with cold water and cloth the day of the wedding. 4) LCWR crew was witnessed tearing table cloths from tables and throwing them with all contents from the tables onto the wet grass. Candle holders were on the tables and were broken from being thrown to the ground. 5) LCWR owner admits that dance floor was not meant to be set up on grass. Dance floor pieces would not lock together properly and were unstable to walk on, creating safety hazard and preventing proper use of equipment. Based on research (interview/online resources), best practice when setting up dance floor on grass is to put sub-floor underneath in order to improve stability, keep pieces dry and together. Lake Chelan Wedding Rentals failed to provide/set up a dance floor that is usable for an outdoor wedding. Feel free to send me a private message if you have questions about this review. My husband and I had a wonderful experience with LCWR! They were very accommodating and met with us each time we were in town prior to our wedding. They had so many trendy items to choose from and were great at answering our questions via e-mail throughout the planning process. They were kind enough to send us photos of what we could expect things to look like as well! Jeff and Gwen were really kind and worked within our budget to help us plan the perfect set up. We really wanted the dance floor in between two tents with string lights hung across both tents and we were SO happy that they could make that happen for us. They accidentally delivered the wrong color chargers which we realized the evening before the wedding but were very responsive and delivered the correct ones by the time we arrived on the day of the wedding! This company almost ruined our wedding welcome party. The billing process ahead of time was a disaster - I probably had 5-6 separate invoices to pay instead of just 1 single invoice with everything on it. Keeping track of all the items was a mess, and they demanded immediate payment ahead of time instead of a single payment after the event, like every single other one of our wedding vendors. Items were exorbitantly priced. I understand the wedding tax, but we ended up spending more for tables and chairs and flatware for the welcome party than we did on food, drink, and entertainment combined. That seems out of balance to me. They did not help us set up the chairs and tables even though we specifically asked for this service. This meant the mother of the bride spent hours before the event setting up tables and chairs. They arrived on a second trip, extremely late with the tablecloth we had requested. This was apparently because their tablecloth supplier fell through. I spent two hours along with my wedding party tearing down the tables and chairs and glassware after our event. After all of this, I was expecting some sort of apologetic discount. Instead, they told me that even though we agreed on hiring labor for set up and tear down, they mistakenly didn't charge me for it so that's why it didn't happen. I get it - mistakes happen. But on a wedding weekend, where the mistakes result in massive amounts of extra stress, I expected some sort of apology and potentially even a discount. But none was to be found - they actually sent me another invoice after the event asking for a $100 cleaning charge. They then ran this expense on my credit card with no authorization. I worked with 8-9 vendors for our wedding, and all of them were professional, helpful, and intent on making our wedding excellent and easy. Except for Lake Chelan Wedding Rentals. They actively made our wedding weekend worse, gouged us with charges, and had a flippant attitude about it all. Avoid at all costs. I suggest working with Bumfields for these types of rentals - they serviced our wedding day and it went without a hitch. read more

We contacted Jeff and Lake Chelan Wedding Rentals when our previous vendor for a stage canceled on us unexpectedly. Jeff was great in communicating and putting together a quote for us to have a stage ready for our wedding, which was about 6 weeks away. We rented the 20x20 stage, which fit our band of 9 musicians very well. Lake Chelan Wedding Rentals came and set up the stage early the morning of the wedding at our venue and then arrived to pick it up the next day. Jeff was easy to talk to and great to work with, and we appreciate Lake Chelan Wedding Rentals coming through for us in the clutch. Thank you for our making our day great! read more

I can't say enough kind words about Lake Chelan Wedding Rentals. I had a wonderful experience working with Jeff and Gwen. Both were very attentive, super responsive and went above and beyond to make sure we had a positive experience throughout the planning process. Since I'm not located in the Chelan area, Gwen did a great job of sending me photos of the rental options along with the dimensions of various items. We got married at Spring Creek Ranch in Winthrop and since LCWR had helped with several weddings there prior, they did a great job of talking through the setup and highlighting details that I had overlooked (like lighting and signage). Jeff did a fantastic job setting up for our wedding and rehearsal dinner - everything went as planned and all of the items were exactly as advertised. Lake Chelan Wedding Rentals is the worst business I have ever had the displeasure of working with. They made my wedding experience chaotic and sad during a record heat wave with no rain in the forecast. After the wedding my husband and I spent our wedding at a hotel away from the wedding site. It rained during the middle of the night while we were away from the wedding site - an act of god beyond our control. When we arrived back to the site, LCWR crew was witnessed tearing the tablecloths off of the tables, throwing to the wet ground and damaging our personal belongings. The belongings under the tent were just as wet as the grass outside of the tent. The rain poured through the tent skylights and saturated all covered items. - Prior to the wedding, LCWR confirmed that their equipment is made for and will withstand elements of an outdoor wedding - waterproof. Our entire wedding was outdoor and on grass. The venue was described in detail and LCWR failed to visit the property prior to delivery. - LCWR markets their dance floor for outdoor use, set up on grass. Their website shows a picture of a dance floor set up on grass and without a tent - so for someone like me that means that is a waterproof material. - LCWR failed to provide waterproof tent. Tent provided by LCWR provided no protection from rain as advertised - all belongings beneath LCWR's tent were wet including our decorations, battery candles, candle holders, etc. - LCWR failed to lay down the foundation for the dance floor to avoid direct grass contact (keep dance floor dry) and enhance stability while dancing. The dance floor was completely unstable and presented a huge liability for us. We would have to stay in on square on the dance floor in order to dance safely. Just ridiculous! - LCWR failed to provide tarp to cover dance floor in event of rain. Be very aware of their contract terms, if you sign the same contract we did every single liability they should have will fall in to you! - Per contract, LCWR would endeavor to minimize risk to their own equipment but they never did. - Per contract, LCWR would call to discuss options to avoid bad weather. This did not happen. - After the wedding and because of all of the problems we had, LCWR owner admitted by e-mail that the equipment was not meant to be set up on grass - false advertising. I wish I had read a review like this before hiring them for my wedding. I would have chosen a better company. read more

Two weeks ago I completed a request for a quote for rental items (tent, tables, chairs, dishware, etc.) for a wedding reception in the Chelan area for July, 2020. I did not receive a response. I went on the website to get a phone number and did not find one. I then tried to contact the company on Instagram twice and nothing. I was wondering if they were in business? I see that they are and by their lack of response assume they have all the business they can handle. Glad I read the reviews. I honestly cannot say enough great things about Lynn & Fleur de Lis!! She was so instrumental in our wedding vision coming together just the way we had envisioned it, and an absolute pleasure to work with. I had the pleasure of working with Gwen and Jeff for our wedding in May at Cave B. Gwen was so wonderful and attentive as I sent my ideas and feedback (and lots of questions!).
