I purchased a used dining room set, and the chairs have caning on the backs. One back had a hole in the caning. I called around and found LaGrange Upholstery. Their staff is knowledgeable and helpful as they explained how the caning works. They indicated it might take up to three weeks to complete the job, but it ended up only being one week. They removed the old caning, replaced it with new material, and stained it to match. It looks brand new! read more

I needed slipcovers for 2 club chairs and found LaGrange through a google search. Their store has tons of fabric samples but I brought my own sample and Jamie quickly showed me some very close matches to choose from. Since I was getting the fabric treated with anti-stain it took about 2 weeks for the fabric to arrive. They picked up one of my chairs (since both are identical). The pick up staff were fabulous - courteous, quick, and took very good care of the chair since it was white. Slipcovers delivered and LOVE them!! The sewing is superb; beautifully done. Communication with Jamie was great - and any time I called the store, the staff was always pleasant and so helpful. If you're looking for beautifully crafted upholstery/slipcovers at a reasonable price handled by expert staff - this is the place! read more

We have an antique dining room table and chairs that we've enjoyed for 25 years. The chairs have always been a little squeaky, when they're sat in. Finally, we went in search of someone to fix/restore them. La Grange Upholstery is the REAL deal! They took our chairs apart, glued and reassembled. No squeak! None! Why the heck didn't I do this project 25 years ago?!! Very appreciative of their quality, no nonsense business and super nice customer service. And done in a week! Highly, highly, highly recommend. Prices were fair. I would go back to them if I needed help with another furniture project for sure. read more

i brought a very old chair with sentimental value to be reupholstered in leather . the selection of real leather and simulation was great. the chair was restored to its former beauty and comfort. I had two old couches that I thought needed retied springs. they talked me out of it and recommnded that they put in new cushions. It was done quickly and they are firm and comfortable now . I saved myself the cost of new springs and new couches. highly recommend couldn't be happier. They have a great new programgiven a photo can figure out exactly how much yardage is needed. read more

Found this location on Google because I needed a chair reupholstered. I contacted them via email and they promptly provided me with a quote. Their pricing was very reasonable compared to some of the other places I received quotes from so I went to their location to look at some samples. I found the perfect unique fabric and my two chair turned out beautiful. It took about 2 weeks for them to complete two chairs that I thought I was going to have to completely replace. I'm definitely a happy customer and would recommend them to anyone looking to have have their furniture reupholstered. read more

I cannot say enough about the great job LaGrange Upholstery did on two of our barrel chairs snd a decorative heart shaped chair. Their work was top notch! From the beginning-walking in the store-the ladies working there had many good suggestions, choosing fabric-they have awesome fabric samples, and to receiving our chairs back-an extremely good upholstery job completed -actually looking better than the original. Thank you so much! read more

What a great outcome from LaGrange Upholstery! Jamie and team were phenomenal from design to fabric selection to installation and customer service. LaGrange Upholstery refinished a kitchen table and chairs that was 19 years old, factory painted and Shabby Chic with a honey maple to we wanted it stripped and stained with a dark walnut finish. LaGrange Upholstery refinished the table top with a product from Italy and it turned out beautifully. The finish was better than a new solid wood set. They are professional and reasonably priced. They also restuffed a leather sofa. They come highly recommended and pick up and delivery as promised. We would no t go anywhere else. Thank you Jamie. Mary Therese Munaretto Oak Brook, Il read more

A fantastic, affordable and very efficient place. We had 8 dining room chairs that needed to be reupholstered and they did it so well, efficiently and easy to work with. I got a quote from another place for the same formal dining room chairs that were quoted over $2,000. This place was under $1,000. Highly recommend it. read more
