I came in expecting to be bored sitting on my phone the entire course but this was not the case. Adam is a great instructor, very informative, detailed and fun. The class was very immersive. Great class for beginner, he goes through all details of scenarios when to and when not to exercise your right to defend yourself with deadly force. He will answer all questions and no judgements are made if you are a complete beginner to firearms. you will qualify on your shooting accuracy during the first day, the range is not far from the class at all. You will qualify at the end of the first day class, everyone will pass with the information taught. I have taken a 16 course 5 years ago and all they showed was boring NRA videos and not much information on when to and when to not use your firearm. Adam spoke the entire course with power slide, it was not boring and you will learn life saving information and also information to prevent putting yourself into trouble with the law. You will Learn basic firearm function, grip, fundamental, maintenance, amongst many other important factors of carrying a firearm. You will Learn the law and updated current laws with conceal carry in IL and where you can carry outside of IL. it was very affordable and worth every penny Spent. Thanks Adam.

I learned so much from Adam the instructor that I encourage everyone to take this 16 hours class. You think you know everything about guns wait until you take this 16 hours class and find out you don't know s.,..t . Adam is true to form really charismatic, smart and really smart at this,he is courteous, respectful and very helpful especially at the gun range he took everyone individually at the gun range to make sure we passed the shooting range. Adam is very knowledgeable about all kinds of guns you can think of,he can break any gun down and tell you the different parts of the gun, he's funny, encourage everyone to participate in the class,I carry a Glock 43 I found out really quick that not only I didn't know the parts but I have been been cleaning it the wrong way which Adam explained it all. By the second day I was looking forward to the class and see wished there was a 3rd day the little $79 we paid was worth every penny. I will most certainly recommend Blackhawk Tactical,I am including the awesome positive vibes of the class.

We built our own trademarked curriculum, You Can Make It, around a simple conviction: quality sewing education should be accessible, hands-on, and taught with genuine expertise and care — and that's exactly what we've created here. Our seven-level program takes you from your very first stitch through advanced construction, with tissue fitting woven in at every stage — because the most valuable skill we teach isn't following a pattern, it's learning to adapt one to your own body. That's the difference between owning a skill and just completing a project. We teach both adults and youth. Our youth program runs as after-school during the school year (September–May), and a Saturday summer sewing camp for kids looking to keep building skills outside the school year. What sets our studio apart isn't just curriculum, it's culture. Students learn alongside instructors who've spent years mastering this craft, and alongside each other — sharing struggles, celebrating breakthroughs, and building genuine friendships around a shared interest. Many of our students started as strangers and became each other's biggest supporters. Visit makingitsewfun.com to explore our full program lineup and register for a class.
