There are 20 dryers and and approximately 10 standard size top-load washers and 10 front-load washers. The top-load washers are $2.25/load and the regular sized front-load washers are $4.00/load. There is a wi-fi hot spot, but there are also two computers that customers can use. There is not much parking in the front but there is plenty in the back. It is convenient to Main Street in Winsted and to Northwestern CT Community College; it is right off of Route 8. There are a number of places nearby to pick up breakfast or lunch as well as coffee. One thing to note ~ the business is closed on Wednesdays. The place was immaculate, most of the machines were in service and there were two attendants who were quite helpful. I would definitely visit again if in need of a laundromat when in the area and would recommend to others.

When I went in to pick up the dress, I was told that it had already been picked up. Period. I asked the two young employees to check for any additional details, and I was again told, "It says it's been picked up," without any additional information or offer of additional follow up. When I asked for a manager, I was told, "It's her day off," and even scolded to "respect her day off" when I asked them to contact her. They eventually did get the owner on the phone; she was extremely rude and even more unprofessional, making it clear that I was bothering her. While the dress was ultimately returned, at no point did I feel the situation was under control or handled responsibly, especially for a long-standing, twice-weekly customer. For something meaningful or irreplaceable, I would strongly recommend taking your garments elsewhere. I now take my business elsewhere. If I could, I would rate this business 0 stars. I was very happy with the price and ease of drop off/pick up. There aren't a crazy amount of parking spots in the front of the building, but there are several more off to the side by their sign. The interior is very vintage, with checkered tile floors and lots of brown. The signs out front are definitely dated, although maybe only to the 90s. I think it adds to the ambiance. There are washers and dryers inside, and seemed to have plenty of room for all the people using them both times I went inside. I would definitely take dry cleaning here again, and if I needed a Laundromat it seems like a good place to go for your needs.

I understand the policy but was disappointed because what's the point of getting a washable rug if you can't wash it? ;) I started reaching out to other places in neighboring towns. I contacted La La Laundry and they promptly returned my inquiry and said "No Problem" and I could bring my washable rug in. Thank YOU!!!!! Well the owner basically shouted at me in front of customers and my son. Something about putting too much change in the dryer, that the comforters would burn. I only put 4 quarters in the dryer. He also said that the comforters don't take long to dry. I have a big comforter so it does take a long time to dry. Plus he said I have to put it on medium heat. I know how to do laundry. Anyway, when the dryer was done, I took my comforters out of the dryer and left to go home. I just wanted to get out of there because I was embarrassed and humiliated. When I got them home, they were still very damp, so I hung them on the clothes line. I will never ever use this laundromat again. They have previously gone above and beyond for service. I will also be grateful for my past experience and hope they correct the current situation. Recently the staff has changed and the new "younger" staff which in my opinion has no work ethic. I was told by the attending staff she was too busy to accommodate our same day request. She advised she many orders ahead of me and would not be able to accommodate us as it was after 12pm. I then proceeded to do our linens myself as we need them for that same day. I noticed and took pictures of the mostly empty facility when I returned to put our linens in the dryer at 1:00pm. the attendant was vacuuming. Saddly it appears the attendant cannot vacuum and do laundey at the same time. I returned at a little after 2pm and folded our laundry and stopped to speak with the owner. When speaking with the owner the attendant reported having to do an order for the "Spa," of which I noticed was already done and folded when I arrived, sitting on top of the first row of machines. This was a lie. The attending staff also lied to the owner when I reported the facility being empty and lied to make an excuse as to why they were busy. The owner simply stated she had vacuuming and other maintenance to do. So sad

Anyway, I'd been to a few of these places before, for various reasons, some are decent enough. Rosie's is a bit on the smaller side, fewer machines than your usual place. BUT, the place is much nicer, a bit more comfortable. What I really do like is the card system they have, load money onto the card and use that, instead of having to fiddle around with a few dozen rolls of quarters. Makes things quite a bit simpler.
