There's no buffer for the constant rush of freezing cold air and it is very very uncomfortably cold in there. Shout out to Ms. Lori! The only time i saw her pause in cleaning was to help a customer. She swept, cleaned folding counters, wiped out the washer doors, and cleaned out lint traps. And all with a smile and looks to see if she was needed. I had extra on my card and leftover detergent and softener. I let Ms. Lori know and she immediately said, I'll give it to charity. I was told it would be slightly over $100 due to whole zipper itself having to be replaced. If it was just fixing the "pull head" itself, then it would only have been $30ish (I don't recall the exact amounts). So, I went a couple blocks away to Sherwood Cleaners at 144 New Britain Ave, and the gentleman fixed my zipper in less than 5 minutes, at no charge at all. NO. CHARGE. AT. ALL. I went back to Best Cleaners and informed the staff member of this. She apologized and said that she doesn't set the prices. Keep in mind, that said employee was nice and pleasant. And I did see her look up the prices on a chart taped onto the front desk. But surely something is awfully wrong to be charging over a hundred dollars, or even the thirty dollars for a broken zipper.

I dropped off a dozen shirts and two suits on a Tuesday afternoon and they were done Thursday morning. Not only were they cleaned and pressed perfectly but there was a lot of attention to detail in how they are packaged for the customer. But the best part was the price. Literally HALF of what the major corporations are charging and the work is noticeably better. I highly recommend this place!
