I rarely write reviews, but my experience here was upsetting enough that I feel the need to warn others. After more than ten years as a loyal customer, I brought in my daughter's wedding dress for cleaning. Although it was eventually found, the way the situation was handled was extremely unprofessional. When I went in to pick up the dress, I was told that it had already been picked up. Period. I asked the two young employees to check for any additional details, and I was again told, "It says it's been picked up," without any additional information or offer of additional follow up. When I asked for a manager, I was told, "It's her day off," and even scolded to "respect her day off" when I asked them to contact her. They eventually did get the owner on the phone; she was extremely rude and even more unprofessional, making it clear that I was bothering her. While the dress was ultimately returned, at no point did I feel the situation was under control or handled responsibly, especially for a long-standing, twice-weekly customer. For something meaningful or irreplaceable, I would strongly recommend taking your garments elsewhere. I now take my business elsewhere. If I could, I would rate this business 0 stars. I had a dry clean-only coat covered with dust. I brought it to Santoro's, and when I picked it up a week later (my choice on pick up date) it was clean and in a fancy plastic bag. I was very happy with the price and ease of drop off/pick up. There aren't a crazy amount of parking spots in the front of the building, but there are several more off to the side by their sign. The interior is very vintage, with checkered tile floors and lots of brown. The signs out front are definitely dated, although maybe only to the 90s. I think it adds to the ambiance. There are washers and dryers inside, and seemed to have plenty of room for all the people using them both times I went inside. I would definitely take dry cleaning here again, and if I needed a Laundromat it seems like a good place to go for your needs. read more

Never any issues with the dry cleaning but the staff is beyond rude!! Try greeting customers when then walk in vs ignoring them. You are in a service business after all!! Plenty of other options nearby that won't leave you standing at the desk for a few minutes while they pretend they aren't there. After you approach the customer from 10 feet away, maybe try a hello or a smile vs making them feel like you're disturbing your cell phone use. This also goes for the woman at the counter who kept her back to me while canceling tickets....4 feet from me, let me just stand there, and never turned around. Sorry to have disturbed you Santoros. I won't make the mistake of doing it ever again. This was my last encounter with your staff. read more

I've been getting my alterations and dry cleaning needs taken care of here for as long as I can remember. The last 5 years in the Marines taught me the importance on having my suits and uniforms clean, pressed and squared away. In all my travels, I have never found a cleaners I trust more than Santoro's. I even had a suit and my wedding tux pressed within a few days of my wedding, see for yourself! They have always provided me with great service and a pleasant customer experience. I'm surprised to see that a few people have had bad experiences...they seem to be centered around this Cypress lady's customer service. I've never met her but everyone that I've dealt with here has been professional and friendly. read more

Brought in a pair of winter jackets that had been my Mom's. We noticed one of the jackets had stains on it, Santoro's did an excellent job of removing them. Very happy with their services. Don't bother with these guys. I've tried calling the commercial number to setup and account 3 times but they can't be bothered to call me back. Better to go with a reputable company like Cintas or something. It's a red flag when they don't even call you back. read more

I have used Santoros for about a year now for dry cleaning my husbands shirts. They have always done a great job cleaning the shirts. My reason for the one star is because of the terrible service I experienced yesterday with an employee named Cypress. I arrived at 3:30 to pick up shirts that were due at 4pm. I knew that I was early, but as we were leaving for a trip the next day I wanted to see if the shirts were available since it was only 30 minutes before promised time. After waiting in line where I witnessed Cypress being less than pleasant to the customer in front of me, I presented my ticket and she very rudely stated that my shirts weren't even in the system with a location so there was nothing she could do. I asked when I could expect them to be ready and she said "I have no idea. It is standard practice for dry cleaners to have shirts ready after 4." I asked if she could check the status as they were supposed to be ready in 30 minutes. She literally huffed and rolled her eyes and walked in back. She came back, and low and behold the shirts were being bagged and would be ready in about 2 minutes. I know that I was early, but this employee was unnecessarily rude and unpleasant. She made it seem like I was inconveniencing her for asking her to check on my shirts. She was combative and disrespectful and I cannot imagine a more unpleasant person to be working front of house customer service. This single experience has made me search for a new dry cleaning service, even though Santoros was the most convenient. read more

Terrible customer service. I was hung up on TWICE. No one ever called me to let me know my stuff was ready for pick up and when I finally went in to pick it up, the placement was completely off from where I told the woman and it was crooked. When I called to speak to the manager I was bounced around to 2 different people, I was then told that it was not their fault, and they would fix it but I would be charged (for their mistake!) I would never recommend this place. Find somewhere else to get your stuff sown on. It is not worth the supposed "2 week" wait time and the awful customer service. read more

This morning had a tailoring emergency. (Didn't know such a thing existed previously) Walked into this place and couldn't believe how helpful they were, despite being very busy. I had a suit tailored somewhere else for a wedding and it came out quite poorly. The wedding is in a few days and couldn't possibly wear it. Being a part of the wedding party I HAD to get it fixed. Came here for help and everyone I spoke with was exceptionally kind and helpful right from the start. It was also readily apparent as Clara noted the changes that needed to be made to my suit that she was very skilled, kind and helpful. I can only recommend this place whole heartedly. read more

Terribly rude people. My wife was given a $25 gift card and had pants hemmed for $13 and they would not give her change or the balance on another gift certificate. So her pants were hemmed for $25. Poor customer service in my opinion! We always allow customers to retain the balance at the shop I work at! read more

I have been going to Santoro's for many years for mending, alterations, and dry cleaning, and have also used their laundromat. On rare occasions, I've experienced an unpleasant employee, but that is not the norm. 98 percent of the time everyone there is friendly and helpful. I had been an occasional customer for a number of years. Never anything challenging, so all was OK. Recently, I brought in a light colored silk shirt that had been stained with soy sauce. Not an easy stain to remove, but not a hard one, either. They charged me $8 and change to wash the shirt. Oh, by the way, they didn't even appear to go near the stain. When I called them on it they lied to me, telling me that, "...the boss tried to remove the stain three times." Liars! So how did it end? I paid them the $8+ dollars, walked out with my stained shirt, then I brought the shirt to a competent dry cleaner to have the stain removed, which it was -- completely and effectively. I, for one, will never again make the mistake of walking through their doors. read more

I paid $15 to have my sons Christening outfit pressed. My husband gave it to me when he got in the car and it was so wrinkled . I couldnt even get out some if the wrinkles they pressed into it. Waste of money. read more

They are open late and have a coupon on their web site. They sew new buttons on my shirts and coats, and the price is not way out of line. They dont add water repellent to my outdoor coats anymore but alot of places have stopped doing this. When I forget my ticket, its not a problem. read more
