Cute place and very trendy. The service is spot on. The drinks were good. I got the toasted coconut margarita and it didn't disappoint. The chips and salsa were bomb. Although the green salsa was not good. Very sour and tangy. I'm from New Mexico so don't come here thinking your getting Mexican or New Mexican food. I'm mean for heaven sakes then call the red and green chile "red sauce" and "green sauce." The have a sun kissed girl painted on the wall on a surf board. It is very watered down of the Mexican inspired culture the owners took to build this place. read more

I've been wanting to try Lady Nomada for awhile now but every time I walked by the line looked crazy. We decided to try it on a Thursday at 5:30 and were able to walk right in with no wait! The food was very tasty! We both got tacos. They are a little pricey for what you get but the flavors were great. I also don't love having to pay for chips and salsa at a Mexican restaurant but the salsa was some of the best I've had. read more

New to Old Town Arvada. Lady Nomada adds an island vibe to a Colorado town. I literally felt like I was on a Carribean vacation for an hour or two. The atmosphere is vibrant and visually stunning and the entire restaurant is fragrant with aromas of infused Caribbean flavors, herbs and spices.. i could taste that freshness in the variety of margaritas, Mai Tai's and mixed drinks that they offer. They use fresh juices and good quality alcohol ...the kind which make you spin in a happy way. The service was great and the bartender was friendly offering good conversation and recommendations. I did notice that although most servers were friendly, they did appear to be exhausted, not sure if it's the repercussions from the pandemic but it seemed obvious at times. The food was pretty good.. We ate the Tuna Tostada, a delicious ceviche type creamy mixture with fresh tuna, avocado and pretty little fish eggs atop a crispy corn shell. We also had the Birria tacos, which had short rib and an Oaxaca cheese sauce with a habanaro dipping sauce that tasted less like a habanarro hot sauce and more like a beef au jus. Both meals were good but their seafood dishes appear to be their specialty. Alot of customers were eating the fish tacos, something to try for next time. Overall Lady Nomada is a hot new trendy spot in Old Town Arvada that pleases those of us who need to be transported away, even if it is just for a day read more

Very disappointing. The food was bland and unexciting. I was a little shocked when I saw the menu prices ($15 for 2 fish tacos?!) but the waiter insisted that the portions were huge and the food was fantastic, so I went ahead with ordering. The portions were very standard. I had the fish tacos, which were fine. Nothing bad but nothing exciting. I also had the rice and beans which were unbelievably bland. My sister's rice also contained a broken piece of plate in it. The inside was beautiful and I saw tons of people taking advantage of the backdrops for some Instagram worthy photos. It's a shame they seemed to focus more on Instagram than the food. read more

Gorgeous restaurant with fun, relaxing vibe. It's our favorite spot for date nights, and they have a bunch of vegan options. Their menu is pretty clear, and I've always had good luck with the servers answering my vegan-related questions. The drinks are also phenomenal! read more

Where to start??? We've been to Kline's many of times and really enjoyed it. Was sad to see it go. A few weeks ago while getting ice cream with the kiddos, we peeked inside the space and were Wow'd!!! What a transformation! A week ago I went in to make a rez for my wife's bday.... they weren't taking any reservations. Weird. Cool, we'll come a tad early. Day of, we swung in early to set if we could get a table for thy bday -- it was poppin' but they were very accommodating! Table of 11 in about 15-30 minutes. Cool. Went to Bluegrass for a quick drink -- server bought her a glass of chardonnay. Got the text that our table was ready so we headed back over. We actually added two more to our group and no issues, table of 13! Woot! Food menu looked great!!! Our server, Drew, was new but was one cool cat!!! A table of 13 with basically four different families -- a server's worst nightmare but he handled it with ease! Kid options weren't explained to us. We stumbled upon paper menus and pencils (sushi style). There are a few items for kids and they were happy with the results. We ordered a ton of stuff but started off with the chips and salsa and ceviche (recommended by our bartender at Bluegrass). Bomb! Salsas were fresh. I really dug the verde! The posole was amazing! Came with little neck clams and pulled pork. Yummy! A few dings though... 1. Very few beer choices on tap. Two of four (?) Options options weren't available. Wer'e in Colorado and only four beers on tap? And I don't think anything local? Weird. 2. I'm not a mezcal or tequila guy.... no cocktails that really got my attention (bourbon or whiskey guy). So I asked Drew if they could make an old fashion -- Drew came back and said they didn't have sugar cubes. No big deal. Chose Bulleit as my preference. Um....probably the worst OF I've ever had. It was not good. Not the type of person to send something back though. Saw the receipt at the end of the night...$15!!! Ouch. For Bulleit? Yikes. 3. My nephew had a rough day. He buried his grandfather earlier in the day. I dragged him to the bar for a shot. Ordered two Bulleit shots... good size shots for sure. Got the receipt and Holy moly...$12 per for Bulleit? 30$ after tip? Isn't Bulleit under $30 for a bottle? Hmmmmm...I understand mark up and supposed there's a liquor shortage but dang son, that's redunk. We got another drink down the block post dinner -- two Don Julios and a Jameson Caskmates -- 18.50$. Just saying. Family of four including the shots -- our bill was about 180$ or so. We did enjoy our experience there and will definitely go back. We want to try happy hour (not on the website at the moment). Work on your beer menu LM and tinker with those prices. read more

I met up with friends for a happy hour here last week. They had ordered a queso with pork and carne asada fries by the time I arrived. The fries were actually thinner slices of potato that were seasoned so nicely. I don't do a lot of meat these days but the potatoes with the toppings were addictively good. The chips and queso were also tasty with the chips being a little salty like a like and crispy. The customer service was really top notch too which made for an all around wonderful night. read more

The ambience is greatly spot on, if you don't mind people. Good for mingling! Their food is absolutely to die for, and the staff is neutral as they should be, lets you alone as you sit at your table or let's you sit at a high quality bar. 100% do recommend. read more

Lady Nomada invited us back in for a do over. They delivered an amazing meal with great service. Not only did we throughly enjoy ourselves, everyone around us seemed to also. The table next to us said they come a couple of times a week. Also, prices are good. Dining out seems so expensive these days and what LN charges and the quality we got is a very good deal. We will definitely be back and happy that we have a new place to enjoy often. Great drinks! Great apps and meal! We really love the atmosphere and vibe too. Super clean and friendly staff, all the way from the hostess when we entered to the end when we left. Close to the parking garage which is nice too. Well done LN! read more

I wish I could've tried this place. On social media it looked so nice. But it is so dirty inside, chips on the floor under and around the table, views of full bus trays. We walked out. You'd have to be blind or unaware to not see that they aren't cleaning up regularly throughout the day or better yet after each customer. And don't put seats by a window of your view is going to be trash - gross! read more

Love the short ribs here. So delicious with a great flavor and nice and tender. My friend enjoyed the potato flautas and the pork carnitas were also delicious. Heard and saw the new place was opening in old town. My friend and I grabbed arrived and were promptly seated by a friendly host (inked up gent). I got served my chips and salsa quickly. The salsa was definitely fresh and had a nice smokiness to it. Dig that. I ordered the Paloma and it was perfect. There was a mishap where a table got my drunk by accident, but on day 3 I won't ding anyone for that. I got my drinks literally moments later. I ordered the fish tacos. Now I've eaten some tacos before. Usually loaded with slaw and crema. These tacos had pieces of fish that were HUGE. I mean, I struggled to eat the two tacos. That much fish. Crisp and tasty sauces and slaw. My friend had the flautas. Crispy, tasty and flavorful. It's refreshing to have a nice meal. The interior decor is fun, vibrant , brings in a "fun" crowd and is very inviting. Good music choice, pleasant servers and cool seating styles etc. Don't miss out on Lady Nomada for sure. Vibes on point, food - incredible, service - outstanding drinks - delicious! Love me some Lady Nomada, their birra and shrimp tacos are absolute musts. Great spot for a date night out or just some drinks after work. I'm slightly embarrassed to admit this, but I definitely bought the water glasses they use for my house. The Perdida of north Denver, this cutie is a joy! ** not an official thing, just how I think of it in my brain** Thoughtfully decorated with murals, foliage, hanging basket seats and cutesy plate ware, Lady Nomada is a vibe! I have now been twice and have found that all their food is on the spicy side which I really enjoy! I had to order a side of avo recently to beat some of the heat in the ceviche haha They offer a fair few cocktails and a small and manageable menu. My advice would be a paloma or prickly pear! read more

They have an amazing ceviche. Absolutely delicious and fresh! Garnished well with pickled onions. Absolutely come for the apps they are fantastic. The beach vibes are on point the margs are great. Ate here the other night and the food is cheap and underwhelming for the price. Where is the seasoning? You can tell ownership is more concerned w profits than flavorful food. I suspect that they aren't using the tequila they say they are because the margarita made me almost immediately break out in hives and I'm a regular tequila drinker. All of the servers seemed overwhelmed with huge sections but did a great job with what they had, so I don't blame them. This seems like a management problem. I asked our server if they pool tips and he said they do. For this reason and all the others listed, I will not be back. read more

Cool concept, beautiful decor. Food (mostly) and drinks are good! Service was pretty bad, however. The girls must have had 12+ tables on a Saturday night. Had she been apologetic or friendly we wouldn't feel inclined to leave a review. Did not see (or feel) any type of management. read more

Excellent food and service. I especially like their birria tacos. They have a nice ambiance both inside and on their patio.

So excited to have Lady Nomada in Old Towne Arvada!! Great addition to an already great strip of shops and restaurants. We arrived on a busy Saturday night and was told the wait would be an hour. We got in after about 45 minutes, and the staff was extremely courteous. We ordered Palomas and apps to start. They took a while to bring them out, so we received guac on the house and drink tokens (for our next visit) for our wait. The salsas were delicious (tomatillo has a great spice). Loved the flavor of the guac, and the star of the show was the Tuna Tostada. Tasted fresh, great crunch, and had the best sauce. We had the Birria Tacos and Ceviche for entrees and both were solid choices. The meat and fish were great. The music and overall ambiance was A+. A surfer/modern vibe. Will return! read more

The three of us visited Lady Nomada on Saturday November 26th. We were advised that there would be a 25 minute wait (which isn't too bad on a Saturday night) and were pleasantly surprised when we were taken to our table after only 15 minutes. However, that turned out to be the high point of our experience. The young man who came to our table informed us that he would be our server, or maybe he wouldn't, he wasn't sure. We thought that was an odd statement, but, whatever. I (mistakenly) assumed that we were dining at more typical street taco place that featured many variations on the taco that can be ordered individually and mixed and matched. That is not the case here. The menu is fairly limited and, in most cases (except two) the entrée's includes two tacos and rice and beans. Again, whatever. We placed our order and we ordered three non-alcoholic Arnold Palmers. We started with queso and chips ($10). The chips were nothing special and the queso seemed suspiciously just like what we might get at QDoba. The entrées arrived. Oh dear! The rice was bland, bland, bland. The beans were...ummmmmm...well...calling them "beans" would be a tremendous overstatement. They were more like a smooth, vaguely bean-flavored paste, with nary an actual bean in sight. The quantities of theses "sides" was alarmingly sparse. My "beans" appeared to be about a tablespoon-sized shallow portion sort of smeared on one end of an overly large plate, with just the tiniest sprinkle of white cheese on top. When I pointed out to our server that my wife's bean smear LACKED the white cheese sprinkle, he said, "Yeah, those things happen." Our Arnold Palmers were mostly slightly lemony-favored water with a swirl of tea. No flavor included. My sister's "rolled ground beef tacos" looked (and tasted) an awful lot like the flautas one can purchase at your nearby 7-Eleven. My wife's chicken verde tacos completely fell apart and should have each featured TWO corn tortillas, to make them sturdier and easier to eat. My fish tacos featured a small (maybe 2" long) rectangle of deep fried whitefish. Nuthin' to write home about, to say the least. Our check ended up being just over $58. All of us felt that that amount (while not large by 2022 standards, but not small, either) was not even close to justified by our actual dining experience. This is a two-star review (rather than a one) for two reasons: 1. The restaurant is very attractive on the inside. I wish its food looked and tasted as good as the restaurant appears. 2. The manager stopped by and asked us about our meal. I told her pretty much the same things I just typed: weird, rude waiter, tiny portions, "beans" that weren't even vaguely beans, etc. While she was obviously surprised at our comments, she was also quite gracious and listened to everything we had to say. She also made it right by buying our dinner, and said (sincerely) that she hoped this wouldn't be a one-and-done visit for us, and that they'd like another chance. Unlike her waiter, she understood what good customer service looks like. So, try Lady Nomada at your own risk. Who knows, maybe you'll like it. For us, however, with so many other better taco places springing up all over Denver, we won't be back. read more

If I could give a zero I would, had family in from out of town thought I would try it. Made a reservation for five walked in and sat us at a 4 top with an extra chair noticing they had 4 people at their 6 tops not well planned. The server came up and said she was a trainee but no one was with her not a way to train, ordered nachos for an app came out several chips on top was burnt and the toppings were just globbed on. Three of us all ordered different kind of enchiladas they were all served cold sent them back came back not hot again we tried again and once again not hot the girl who camped out and said they put a thermometer in it and it was 138, that is a holding temp not a serving temp, our whole evening was ruined in stead of comping our table she just took the enchiladas off, for background I am a retired executive chef with over 50 years experience, I didn't get dinner a horrible experience read more

This place was all over the map for me. The ambiance is very cool, but might be trying too hard - just a hair too hipster-ish. Still fun for a casually fancy night out. The service was terrific. The food was mostly delicious. Everyone enjoyed their tacos. The ceviche wasn't great IMO - tasted too heavily of balsamic vinegar. The green salsa was also a stand out. None of my dinner companions liked the queso except me - they all said it tasted like Velveeta but I don't think that was fair, but I was okay with it cause I got it all to myself. One thing we all agreed on however was that the tres leches was, unfortunately, and with all respect to what appears to be a fine establishment, criminally dry. read more

Wow!! We were in from out of town and Lady Nomada was our first meal here. 1. Walking in the atmosphere and decor was perfect. The seating was all different and beautiful, the decor and music was perfect. 2. The Carne Asada Fries are honestly one of the better Latin themed dishes I have had in awhile, damn it was good. We also got the Birria Tacos and Tuna Tostada and they were amazing as well. 3. The service was great and our waitress was really personable. The drinks were great and well presented. I have both ordered take out and dined in at Lady Nomada and love this place! Starting with the take out, I was so impressed with how things were packaged and certain toppings or sauces were packed separately to ensure you did not have a soggy less than appetizing dish once you got home - which shows they care about the quality of the dish even after it leaves the restaurant - huge points in my book for that! The carnitas fries...so good! Street corn was ok but lacked some flavor IMO. The staff at the hostess stand was very welcoming and jumped right on getting the order. My dine-in experience - sat in chairs that were swings...it felt like i was on vacation with my frozen coconut margarita (so yum!), fun swing chair, and doubled as a perfect rocker for my 6 month old so I could enjoy my meal to the fullest. The hostess staff was so accommodating of my stroller situation which is nice for any parent to know that has anxiety about going out to eat. Service was adequate - no muss no fuss and everything came out correct. Gauc is good but do agree it could use a bit more seasoning (some bites were bland and some were spicy..could use a bit more consistency), chips tasted fresh. Carnitas quesadilla was so good and loved the beans that accompany the dish. I will be back to try the queso among other things!! The decor is such a glow up from the old place that used to be in this spot, this is such a fun addition to Olde Town! read more

I've always loved this restaurant since it opened, however something has changed and it is taking a turn for the worse. First, I went one day with my dog, as I have done many times since open. The hostess was nice telling me they don't allow dogs anymore, but a server randomly kept interrupting and being very rude to me. I was okay to go elsewhere and wasn't mad at all, but the server kept chiming in for no reason. If you don't want to allow dogs anymore on your patio, fine, but don't be rude to customers who have been coming since open when it was allowed and weren't aware of the change. Second, I came back with a friend as they have always liked this restaurant as well. We kept having to wave our server down as they didn't check in on us AT ALL. We wanted to order food and were done with our apps and drinks for 15 minutes and the server was just hanging out in the kitchen. We finally got their attention to get our checks. They also changed the queso and it's nowhere near as good. Its a shame this place has changed so much, as it used to be my favorite. I don't see myself coming back. read more

Atmosphere? Yes. Food for thought? Not really. I love Mexican food and I love trying new places so this place seemed like a stellar choice in my brain but what ended up happening was $75 spent leaving half satisfied. I will say this first and foremost, go here if you have a party group of friends and want to drink / snack. That's what I feel this place is perfect for. Going here for lunch and trying to satisfy your pallet or even your stomach. Not so much. I came here with my sister so we could relax and try a new experience. I grew up around here so I've tried a lot of what this area has to offer. On the appetizer front we got Street Corn, as for flavor it was pretty tasty but the corn was so, fresh which if you've had "elote" it's quite cooked if not charred or grilled. So the freshness of the corn just made it a detriment to the dish. We also got Carne Asada fries, a bit too salty (just add salt to the guacamole and meat, putting spice blend on the whole dish is a bit, much). As for entree we both got Birria cause heck yeah. I wish these were a bit more flavorful, the meat was tender but not as much heat or power behind it. The sauce didn't really taste like anything to me plus for tacos they're hard to dip into. I also voted for us to get Sopapillas since it had been so long since I had some. And. Maybe this is just my time hanging out in Hispanic circles but usually if served with anything ITS HONEY !!! Instead we got some chocolate and caramel sauce with these big as my hand sopapillas. The dough didn't have that perfect in between of pastry and bit of chew. They were fine. Not spectacular but fine. Like I said. Come here and get crunk with your friends for a bit of night on the town but don't go here for a flavor experience. There's another cheaper taco place in Olde Town to hit up if you need to get your feast game on that has brisket tacos to die for. read more

The service unfortunately was extremely unpleasant compared to what it usually is and from the start it was absolutely awful. The bar tender seated us and threw the menus , It took 25 min to even get a drink/ coke and two cocktails there was maybe 5 tables and 4 people at the bar. Either you can tell the staff is over the holidays or they are just not there to work. We typically eat here all the time since we live in the area but we just paid for the drinks and left and went to Wapos cantina a block over and was seated , apps , drinks and food right away.
