I came on a weekday for lunch with a decent-sized group and there were a lot of call-in orders, so it took our group a long time to get our food. If possible, I would recommend calling in ahead of time if it's around a busy time of day. I got the Turkey Bacon Griller sandwich, which was turkey, bacon, swiss, tomatoes, and mayo on rye. It came with a bag of chips, and it was quite tasty. I'd say a full sandwich with chips wasn't as filling as I would hope, so I would recommend adding a salad or soup with a sandwich. I also tried the Chicken Noodle Soup, which was way too salty. I couldn't taste much besides the salt, and had to add some water to the soup to make it palatable for me. Overall, I liked the setting, everything seemed very clean, but the wait for my food was unfortunately quite long and while the sandwich tasted good, the soup was too salty. Hi, just leaving this review as a Uber Eats driver... I have had food from the West Ashley location. Obviously the food is good and I don't want to take anything away from that, but I do wanna give my experience as walking into the restaurant me being very friendly open person and have worked in f&b my entire life went to greet the older woman who works behind the Counter. This is my second time seeing her I thought maybe the first time she was just in a bad mood but it seems that's just her attitude and general demeanor. She was very cruel, rude dismissive, and cold without me even getting a couple of words in to ask if I could use the restroom. She started firmly scolding me to confirm the order with a very dirty look on her face. I think she needs to be aware of what she looks like when interacting with customers she brought the whole atmosphere down. Don't know if she's the owner, but if not, she should be fired in my opinion, Or put in back of house so no one can see her face. Hopefully I don't have to interact with her again very uncomfortable very rude. read more

Later in the day, we were all pretty full so we decided to try out this restaurant as the meals seemed a bit lighter. Upon entrance, I fell in love with the layout of this place as it was under a building but still had such an open atmosphere. The menu mostly consisted of sandwiches and soup but I opted for a soup. I ordered the buffalo chicken soup and got it in the pint size. The soup itself was a bit thicker and almost felt like I was eating a dip and not a soup. I came in for lunch and we were the only ones there. The two workers were great and we had a normal delicious ladles experience. A friend of ours who was with us placed a to-go order, paid, and left asking us to take it when we were done as she had a few errands to run. While we were eating I would say maybe 2 parties of four and a party of 2 came in and placed orders. The way they were scrambling was like they had never seen this many people come in before. It was lunch time and I would expect it can get much busier. We ate quick and were in a bit of a rush so we cleaned up our table incase anyone else wanted to sit as there was no way the 2 staff members would have been able to add anything to their task list. One was taking orders while the other made sandwiches in the back. Eventually after waiting for quite a while I asked where our to-go order was. Turns out they forgot to make it and we had to wait all over again. They shouldn't be overwhelmed by 10 people coming in for lunch. Maybe they needed more staff... not sure. It did make for a rough experience though. Best thing is that they have the best deal on frozen soups of all the Ladles in town offering 4 quarts for $10. Can't beat that! read more
