The store is easy to find and when I entered I was greeted warmly. The salesman immediately asked if I needed helped and proceeded to retrieve my online order. Once I received my order I decided on a different bike because the one I ordered was too small for my son. The manager (Dennis) jumped right into action to start my return, showing me different bike options and inspecting the new bike I chose. The bike was on sale and I thought the overall value was good, the selection was vast too. The store was clean and each employee that I encountered was pleasant and helpful. I'd definitely return if needed.

I also can't forget asking the lady about the North face jacket model they had some years back where your sleeves had built in half gloves. She hadn't seen anything this year but decided to look on the stores iPad to see if she could find any. Thought that was sweet. Now I found myself wanting some dumbbells, again PIASBmore came through, where so many people are attempting to sell 2 20lb dumbells for $100 they again came through with normal prices. I've had pretty good experiences both shopping and selling but a recent selling experience left a really bad taste in my mouth. I've been told they're under new ownership which isn't a surprise since I've never had such an awful experience here before. I was moving in June and my boyfriend and I both had things to get rid of. I walked in with three trash bags of clothes - no one greeted me, no one offered to help with my bags, no even held the door open for me. Finally, someone said hello and to lay out all my clothes into one bin since they now have a one bin maximum. Okay... so I then had to kneel in the middle of the floor and take each item out one by one and lay them into the bin. Again, no help from the staff. I couldn't even fit most of the items I wanted to sell since they only allow one bin now. I was then told that there were 57 people in front of me and I had to come back on Saturday or Sunday. I thought this was strange since it was a Thursday and normally they require same day pick up. I planned my day around dropping off and picking up so being told to come back later that weekend, when I'd be in the middle of moving, wasn't convenient at all. I let them know this and they said someone could pick it up for me if they had a photo of my driver's license. They asked if I wanted to donate my items they couldn't take to which I agreed but I specifically said I wouldn't be taking store credit. Saturday passes and Sunday rolls around. Still no word from Uptown Cheapskate. I call on Tuesday and am told my buy was completed on Thursday, the same day I dropped everything off, and since I hadn't picked everything up within 24 hours everything had been donated and I was issued store credit. I was absolutely shocked and so confused. I was specifically told to come back 2 days later. I made enough of a fuss that they finally told me I could come in that day and grab the cash. Upon arrival, the same person who had initially checked me in acted like I was crazy when I questioned why they had told me to come back 2 days later when that clearly wasn't their policy -- especially since I specifically said it'd be more convenient for me to pick up the same day. This employee didn't make eye contact, didn't try to explain, and didn't even smile. They just briskly said "here" and shoved $30 cash my way. $30??? For that little money, it's not worth the poor communication and unfriendly interactions. I'd rather donate everything to a thrift store than go through the hassle of selling here again.
