They have perfected it though. Last time, I got their 90 degree socks. I actually have concluded it is not a gimmick. I have some socks that slip off, at the heel, in particular if I wear them with runnig shoes. These do not. Everything I have acquired from Muji has gone into my regular rotation. The design is good, the quality is there, and the prices are not outrageous. So I commend Muji to you if you have a similar sense of not wanting to want, but being willing to browse. The downside is that the dressing rooms don't have a seat inside and due to a knee injury i had to wait a long time for the only stall to become available. The dressing room area is extremely busy and the staff appeared overwhelm with the consumption of clothes left behind by customers. The space in the store is good, nothing appears cluttered or scattered and the floors are kept clean. Needed to use the restroom and that is also an area that only has one per gender and the lines become a bit much. Due to the restrooms overuse it definitely requires additional cleaning to maintain it clean and stocked with toiletries.
