A sparkling Ruby minus a few sips
Deb B.

What a lovely way to spend a night out. I like that I was able to make reservations to go out on a Saturday night. There's nothing worse than going to a favorite spot and finding a long wait when you have tickets to be somewhere. I made reservations for 5:45 and was promptly seated by a lovely hostess. Laci's is such a cozy place with no overwhelming music to interfere with conversation. Our server Katie arrived to introduce herself and gave us a few minutes to look over the drink menu. Katie was friendly and helpful, explaining some of the dishes on the menu. Tapas menus are always fun to read and allow you to taste a variety of different things. Food comes out, one dish at a time which gives time to share and not rush along. We ordered a cold salad and a winter salad, a flatbread, shrimp and cheesy grits as well as sliders. Everything is fresh and made to order and served at the proper temperature. I also tried a cocktail that I loved, a Sparkling Ruby (vodka, Prosecco, and pomegranate). Service is terrific, food is wonderfully prepared and the ambience is intimate. Great experience.

This was my first time at Lacis and we tried a lot of different things on the menu and they were all amazing! Our favorites were the sliders and the shrimp skewers and least favorite was the beef wellington. We went to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday and we were just about the only ones there on a Thursday night, it was very cozy and fun decor. Our waitress was very kind, quick, and attentive! Everything was great - would definitely recommend

If you don't eat so much or have a small appetite this is the place for you!! It was so cute ambiance, the food was delightful- Im a big salmon fan and omg that teriyaki was truly on point! Waitress was extremely nice kept asking if we are good - thank you and I appreciate you which you don't hear so often. You want a comfort ambiance and good food and drinks - this is a must!!

Beef Wellington

My friend and I dined at the bar post a Yelp event held upstairs. I ordered a Cosmopolitan and my friend a Spanish red off the extensive wine list. The bar tender was friendly and very helpful with recommendations. I ordered Beef Wellington which is a favorite among the many tappas to choose from. It was delight packed in to every bite! Bacon wrapped jalapeños were also on must try list and did not disappoint, my friend enjoyed a flat bread with mushrooms and arugula. My second cocktail I chose a Lemon Drop. We loved the ambiance as well as the cocktails and tappas! The owner, mixologist, and chef were all very welcoming and attentive! Great evening out!

Lemon drop and margarita

Walking up to the front of Laci's I noticed a beautiful outdoor sitting area decorated with lights. I also noticed a cute door knocker on the front of the red door which was super cute. When you walk in you can either go upstairs or to the right you will see a dining area and then a bar a little father in the back. It's definitely small inside and doesn't have a ton of seating but there is a pretty good amount of seating at the bar which is where we sat. I had a margarita which was perfection and the bartender even asked us how it was to make sure it was to my liking which was super nice. We ended up ordering the Apple and Brie flatbread which was *chef kiss* delicious! The combination of the flavors was perfect. The food did take a little bit to come out but was well worth the wait! I do want to come back again and try their espresso martini with Arancini balls.

Killer service, ambiance and food. Will be a mandatory stop when traveling out east. Bacon wrap, dates, blue cheese, fondue Mediterranean, bladder, and shrimp were all perfect.

Went for brunch recently and enjoyed it! The space is fairly small, but has a cozy ambiance. It was not as busy as I expected it to be considering it was Mother's Day weekend as well as graduation at SU, but easily made a reservation online anyway. The service was attentive and they helped recommend some things on the menu. We opted for the French Toast flight, smoked salmon Benny and breakfast flatbread. It was the perfect amount for 2 of us! The flatbread was our favorite. I would definitely go back for brunch!

White Sangria and Beef Short Rib

Adorable, cozy little spot. The sangria was delicious and the buy one get on deal on certain nights is a treat. The food was tasty and our server was great. My only reservation is the size and price of the food. The short rib was $18 and about three bites, each one was yummy though!

Great service, delicious food, great price. This is a tapas place, portions are not meant to be big, however my taste buds were exploding. The food was so good, fresh, hot, and delivered quickly. We came here to celebrate my Husbands Graduation from Syracuse and this place did not disappoint. I highly recommend

Laci's is BACK & better than ever! I'm a foodie but a "snackie" at heart ... if you're someone like me, this is the place for you! The menu has something for everyone, and because it's tapas & you share the food, there's always food coming to your table! It's hard to not try everything on their large menu but I have to suggest: arinchini, Thai chili shrimp, any kind of flatbread. Service is great - staff is always attentive & it's clear they work as a team! We're already planning our next visit (& they take reservations!!!)

Our dessert of Banana Sushi and Apple Empanadas was to die for, as we washed it down with an espresso and espresso cocktail! Yummy!

My Daughter and I celebrated our birthdays at Laci's and it was wonderful! The food was amazing, with several delicious options to share! We also loved the ambiance, located an old Victorian house with beautiful furnishings. The staff were spot on, with prompt friendly service. We definitely will be back!

Right around the corner from my home it looks like a house actually. It was quiet and quaint and our waitress was down to earth & attentive. Our tapas came out quickly 1 at a time. They were delish, especially the haddock bites they were perfect! The shrimp & grits were immaculate made with real grits by the way. We enjoyed the lemon ricotta cake and I have to admit you can get into some serious trouble here the menu is to die for. We had beef sliders that were really good with grilled onions and red peppers my favorite so there's that.

I got a table quickly without any waiting, which was surprising with how busy the town was. The place was cozy it's not huge inside but they did have a few seating outside which was nice for a hot day like today. We all ordered sangrias, they were great(no spirits here). We all shared small plates and ordered our own pizzas. The fries and calamari were seasoned and cooked perfectly. I loved the different sauces that came with them. I would get these again. My friends enjoyed the gnocchi, it took awhile for it to come out(waitress said they were training), we were not in any rush it was our girls night. They enjoyed it. Two of us ordered Sam's Favorite and one Blueberry. My friend split a slice of her sister's blueberry pizza with me, it was different but not in a bad way. We thought it was good. The different flavors complement each other. I enjoyed the Sam's Favorite, loved the kick of heat from the fresno peppers. We were full but made a little room for dessert lol, all three order the pot de crème. I will never turn down chocolate lol, it was delicious. Overall the food was good and friendly service, I can see this as date night spot for my husband and I. I enjoy a place like this because the menu is not overwhelming.

However, did love the elevated feel of a typical American bistro. We thought the service could've been more attentive, but improved as the evening progressed. Our waitress was super nice and was helpful in explaining the menu specials and answering any questions we had. Most notably on the menu, the NY strip was a perfect medium rare. We opted to get the 4 jumbo shrimp on the side, which we thought retained a nice snap when we bit into it. It was also well seasoned, while still displaying its freshness. The fries complemented the steak, but was too well done for our liking. Our other entree, the lobster mac and cheese, had a nice cheese pull. We liked the added roasted tomatoes in the baked mac and cheese, which gave it a necessary acidity that countered the creamy, cheesy roux. For our appetizer, we chose the meat and cheese board, which was really solid. Appreciated the waitress explaining the selection, as well as the addition of a sour cherry jam and pickles on the side. This gave us a lot of mix and match options (64 to be exact), and we also liked how it came with charred/toasted bread. Finally, we wrapped up with a chocolate peanut butter parfait and key lime pie. Both were really good (get both if possible, but we liked the latter more).

Brussel sprouts - plentiful, cooked well, nicely seasoned. 4. Apple flatbread - fun combination of flavors, plenty to share. 5. Asparagus - Amazing taste, not worth the price, barely anything on the plate. 6. Mushrooms - Not bad, nothing special, cooked well, was oddly over flavored 7. Salmon - Actually it was delicious... Sadly after the first bite it was raw inside and when they brought it out again it was still undercooked... Thankfully the staff was wonderful and accommodating and we did appreciate their quick and helpful response to get us something else. Dessert we had the frozen bananas and apple pie bombs with ice cream. Both amazing!! Recommend letting the bananas warm up a little before you give yourself a brain freeze though. We will be back to try more and hopefully get another shot at the Salmon. I do recommend giving Laci's a go. Enjoy!!
