This is a HUGE location and it's filled to the rafters with stuff. Not all of it is good stuff. Some of it is junk. It is the very antithesis of organized. They make some effort to try to be organized, in that there is a row of sporting goods, one of kitchen goods, and another with other stuff. the goods are basically tossed in each aisle leaving the shopper to fend for themselves. the only aisles that offer some form of organization are the hardware, fabric, and flooring section. the rest? Not so much. The fabric section should be mentioned. It's awesome. Last season's (or the season before) fabric at low prices. If you quilt or do any sort of fabric craft AT all you can find some amazing deals in Marden's on fabric. It is also the only area of the store that looks as though it's cleanish. Where you might unload $200 on the same amount of fabric at Joanne's at mardens you'll spend a fraction of that. For $100 you can get enough fabric to make a good sized quilt. This location is also beginning to lose it's shine. After they took over the walmart building it was shiny and new and looked great. The exterior could use a paint job, but I guess they haven't salvaged the red paint yet... The once well maintained lot is heaved and has pits. The interior could do with the floor being washed and a solid dusting. It's not filthy just getting there. Where clothing you'd do yard work in, because you'll be digging around looking for things and it's not clean.

It's my most comfortable garment and has been washed after every used with no signs of falling apart. I love it and I'm always complimented when I wear it. Despite the compliments, it's soft stretching cotton, and it keeps me real comfortable. No longer live in Maine, I'm in Massachusetts, but I love the opportunity to buy online with assurance, knowing that I would love whatever I choose.

This particular location is very clean and organized, which is greatly appreciated when you are perusing their aisles for random things. Without fail, I always walk in not expecting to find anything worth buying but walk out with a hundred dollars worth of purchases. This location is great for buying kitchenware, glassware, home decor, and pet supplies at a steal. My most recent visit I was able to score four giant made in Italy wine glasses for $12 that I would normally spend $40+ back in LA.

Every time we stayed in Saco, we went there. I had just finished my wonderful trip in Bar Harbor and we found Renys coming home . It's in Ellsworth and we saw it on the way in. It's a good 30 minutes from Bar Harbor. We wanted to come before but when you are doing Acadia National Park and downtown Bar Harbor, you don't have much time. I am glad I came to see it. It is a big store, clean, and they have a great assortment of shoes, clothes, accessories. Always good prices. I wish I had more time, they were closing in 30 minutes. But I got to look around and remember the good old days of shopping in Renys. When in Maine, you have to come. It's a local store, only found in this state and it's truly fun to shop.

You might be able to get items for cheaper if you follow sales, but when you can't find items at other stores, Reny's usually has it. When you're there, go to the spices and seasonings area and buy the Camp Mix. Camp Mix is a salt/Garlic/pepper seasoning that is great for meats, eggs, pasta and Bloody Mary's. The honey/cinnamon is perfect for oatmeal and toast. The Spud flavor is wonderful on pork and chicken. The staff is always helpful and pleasant.

I pulled up by the door to unload and while gathering coins and personal items a rather large angry woman walks up my to my car and aggressively knocks on my window and callously says move your vehicle. I attempted to say I needed to unload and I'm on crutches and she interrupted me and says move it. I have six more loads of laundry with me but I'll opt to take the rest to blue hill. definitely not worth coming here again and I would never recommend it to anyone else!

Prices are in line with any kind of touristy, souvenir, regional sort of merchandise. For this spring season, there are a lot of hoodies and long-sleeves. There are a lot of other items to choose from as well. Service was great. I made some small talk with the nice woman behind the counter and explained the crowd was up for April vacation week. Full season starts in May and I guess the place is a madhouse all summer. Five stars based on how much lighter my wallet was (willingly).
