No wonder this site's ratings are in the gutter. I was just in there today for (what should have been) a simple drug screening collection but was instead personally insulted by the collector when she learned I was from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania because I wore a Pitt university cap. She started by saying she hates people from Pittsburgh, without joking whatsoever. She went on to say her daughter is studying there and because some "Asians" walked past her without smiling one time, everyone in my hometown is rude and unfriendly, which I found extremely ironic based on what I was being subjected to. When I asked her for her name, she said her name was "Trina" but the lab invoice shows Carrie Underhill. I said nothing to provoke this blatant disregard for common decency and professionalism. Is Labcorp's staff unaccountable to where they can just vent their prejudice to the patients because they feel the patients have no leverage and are dependent on these tests for employment? At the end, after I pushed back and pointed out how rude people from central Ohio, such as herself, can obviously be, she threatened that I had better leave before she gets physical with me. Seriously? I come for an pre-employment collection and I get insulted and threatened? That's okay with Labcorp? That's the caliber of people you have working for you? read more
