I told her I didn't think I needed one of the blood test because I don't think my insurance would cover it. And She said she couldn't just cross things off but then she wound up not taking the blood for that test and not even letting me know .... the other girl that works there is really weird too. I'm pregnant and she kept telling me how she wants to get pregnant but thinks she can't because she got the corona vaccine.... I've had the vaccine, so it's not that ... I don't know it just made me feel extremely uncomfortable. I would never go to this location ever again. Gave me the creeps and the girl missed my vein the first time meanwhile I had gotten blood work the day before at another place, and I even sharpie my arm to let them know where I wanted to go for the blood because I'm a difficult stick but they would not go in the spot I want them to go its it's my body after all! Within moments, she was able to draw the blood and they left as very happy customers after having been unsuccessful when they went to their doctor's office. When it was my turn, it was business as usual, virtually pain-free, and an easy blood draw. As someone who gets bloods done often, I was very impressed with not only the technique, but her customer service and friendly demeanor. As someone who grew up apprehensive about needles, I felt very relaxed. I will definitely be going back for my next visit.

The place was easy to find (look for the "Eight" on the building) and there's plenty of free parking out front. I arrived around 1:55pm on a weekday (closes at 2:30pm though which I thought was very early) and there was only one person in front of me. Check in was quick and easy on their self service tablets (2 up front) or I think you can maybe check in with the person at the counter (there wasn't anyone there when I was doing my self check in though until later). You just need to have your drivers license and health insurance ID card(s) on hand because the self service machine will scan them for the information. I didn't wait more than 5-10 minutes before being called (since there was only one person in front of me) and the phlebotomist that drew my blood was very nice and quick. Granted I am an easy stick haha. The lab was very clean and I had a great experience here: the entire process from check in, payment, and blood draw itself was quick and easy! No complaints and would return if I needed any sort of bloodwork done in the future. Just be aware of their closing times.

She informed me that there are other offices i can go too, and from now on I will no-longer use what could have been a convenient office. I informed her that maybe LABCORP should have real world hours. There are many doctor's offices around here. Instead of being convenient, and being able to go right to this Lab, seens we would have to make another trip to schedule an early visit. I don't have the time or gas money to make "ANOTHER SPECIAL TRIP." My time & gas money matters to me. If I could give zero stars I would. I am absolutely livid with the experience I had with my 11…read moremonth old. We had to have routine bloodwork done so I scheduled an appointment here for pediatric blood draw. I brought my first here two years ago and we were in and out within 5 minutes. No poking around her arm, no crying. Nothing. I brought my second here yesterday and I will NEVER come back again. First, she couldn't find a vein. I watched her try and get one to come up but there was nothing there. I saw her grab the needle and I said you see one? Because I definitely didn't. She says yes then grabs my babies arm. Baby started to cry before the needle went in then she literally stabs my baby in the arm WITHOUT finding a vein. She then lifts the needle up in her arm and I said are you supposed to do that? Then she proceeds to move the needle from side to side like she was fishing for a vein. I said stop! We're done here. Made her remove the needle and stood up to get the hell out of there. She puts on a bandaid and gives me my insurance card and script. I am extremely angry, upset and sickened that I had to subject my baby to that horrible experience when we couldn't even give any blood. Our pediatrician said if they have to poke more than once then they don't know what they're doing and leave immediately. That's exactly what I did and we will never be back. This place is not equipped for children like it used to be.

Almost never have I had to wait longer than 5 or 10 minutes past my scheduled appointment. The big negative which is causing me to stop having service provided by LabCorp is the repeated failure of the provider to collect and/or submit all requested samples for testing, and this is huge. I make an effort to have multiple Drs tests done at one time so I only have to get one venipuncture, and the value of follow-up Dr Appointments depends on having the reports from these tests available. The whole thing falls apart if only one of two or more orders is completed. And I can forgive mistakes: we all make them. But this has happened twice, and customer service has not been sufficiently eager to appear as though the issue requires quick corrective action. This isn't fast food, it's healthcare. It has to be done right the first time.
