I had to get bloodwork (specifically with Labcorp) done last minute and was in the area so I did a…read morewalk-in. The place was easy to find (look for the "Eight" on the building) and there's plenty of free parking out front. I arrived around 1:55pm on a weekday (closes at 2:30pm though which I thought was very early) and there was only one person in front of me. Check in was quick and easy on their self service tablets (2 up front) or I think you can maybe check in with the person at the counter (there wasn't anyone there when I was doing my self check in though until later). You just need to have your drivers license and health insurance ID card(s) on hand because the self service machine will scan them for the information. I didn't wait more than 5-10 minutes before being called (since there was only one person in front of me) and the phlebotomist that drew my blood was very nice and quick. Granted I am an easy stick haha. The lab was very clean and I had a great experience here: the entire process from check in, payment, and blood draw itself was quick and easy! No complaints and would return if I needed any sort of bloodwork done in the future. Just be aware of their closing times.

For a month I have been trying to get Bloodwork done but with LABCORP's REDICULOUS hours, I can't…read more There are a couple of times I'm visiting doctors right near the LABCORP at 2500 Nesconset Hwy, so a couple of times a month i am near them, but can rarely get any work done. April 21, 2026, I got to the office to be very rudely blown-off by the curly haired brunette. She informed me that there are other offices i can go too, and from now on I will no-longer use what could have been a convenient office. I informed her that maybe LABCORP should have real world hours. There are many doctor's offices around here. Instead of being convenient, and being able to go right to this Lab, seens we would have to make another trip to schedule an early visit. I don't have the time or gas money to make "ANOTHER SPECIAL TRIP." My time & gas money matters to me. After the rude brunette (sitting on the left side) I will no longer ever waste my time at LABCORP at 2500 Nesconset Hwy. I'll find a Lab that has realistic, real world hours!

Terrible experience at Quest Diagnostics. My dad had a morning appointment for lab work and…read morefollowed instructions to fast overnight--no food or drink. When he arrived, they asked for a urine sample, but he couldn't provide one right then. They told him he could come back later to drop it off, but only with another appointment. He didn't book one and returned as a walk-in. Waited over an hour just to be called, then all he did was hand over the sample and place it on a cart inside the office. That was it--no further assistance, nothing. Total waste of time. It feels like they're forcing appointments just to look busy and pad wait times.

I had a disappointing experience at Quest Diagnostics today with a phlebotomist named Carla. I had…read morescheduled an appointment online for my glucose test, which was the priority, but I also had a requisition for two additional non-fasting lab tests. Unfortunately, the online system wouldn't allow me to add the other labs without canceling the glucose appointment, so I chose to proceed with the glucose test and planned to hand in the additional requisition upon arrival. I didn't think this would be an issue, especially since Quest accepts walk-in patients and I was going to be there for two hours. It seemed reasonable that the extra labs could be drawn during the same visit--specifically, one hour after drinking the glucose solution and again at the two-hour mark, for a total of three needle sticks. I didn't see the need to schedule another appointment just to return for a fourth draw when I was already there for an extended period. When I explained this to Carla and gave her the additional requisition, she looked me in the eye and told me I'd need to make another appointment and come back for those tests. I calmly explained what had happened with the online system and said I was unable to return, and that it made sense to draw everything while I was already there. She reluctantly added the tests and told me, "Next time you'll have to make an appointment," followed by, "I'm not trying to give you a hard time." When I tried to show her on my phone what happens when you attempt to add multiple tests online, she refused to look and said, "I don't need to see that." Then, while I was seated quietly waiting for the draw, she noticed my water bottle and asked if I had been drinking from it. I told her yes, and that my midwife said I could and had written it on the instructions. Again, she responded with, "I'm not trying to give you a hard time." By this point, I felt extremely uncomfortable with how I was being treated. I told her that I've worked in healthcare for over 20 years and have never been treated this way by a medical professional. I said her overall attitude from the moment I walked in had been off-putting and unsettling, and that I preferred not to continue speaking. She then said another tech would complete the timed draws at 7:50 and 8:50. It was upsetting to be treated this way when I was simply trying to be practical and efficient during an important prenatal test. The reaction I received felt unnecessarily rigid and dismissive, especially considering I was already going to be there for hours.
