I honestly do not know why this place currently has an average of only 2.5 stars! I have been to other seriously inferior LabCorps- you low-raters don't know a good thing when you see it! Let's face it - nobody enjoys being sick or having to give blood. But when life give you lemons, you put some sugar on it - not just eat it straight! I make the best of the situation by being nice to the staff and they are very nice to me in return. As someone who has to do blood work monthly, I certainly value finding a place I don't hate frequenting. So far, I've had 3 different people take my blood at this location and each one was great. The staff is polite and works quickly. I drop-in without an appointment (I've gone at various times, but avoided the lunch hour) and have never had to wait more than 10 minutes. TO MAKE THINGS GO QUICKLY: 1) sign in upon arriving 2) have your referral and insurance card handy when you are called up 3) wait a few minutes until you are called in to have your blood drawn SEE, THAT WAS EASY!

    What is this?! Disgusting.

The restroom was so small and poorly designed that I could not safely bring my cane inside. As a result, I fell in the restroom. Afterward, the lab technician informed me that I would need to return in 3 days, stating he was not willing to give me another attempt that day. I am genuinely concerned that a medical laboratory does not have basic ADA-compliant accommodations for patients with mobility needs. Accessibility is not optional--it is a requirement, especially in a healthcare setting where patients may already be vulnerable. This experience was unsafe, dismissive, and unacceptable. I hope Labcorp takes accessibility seriously and addresses this issue so others do not experience the same situation.

The sign outside says it's "appointment only" but if you check in at the machine inside and say you'll wait, they may be able to do it if not too busy. The female phlebotomist was also working the front desk and was very kind and patient. She was personable and didn't lose her cool despite the influx of patients. I really appreciate her squeezing me in. The other male worker was processing the labs in the back as they do that on site. He was hustling too. This location is much less stressful than others. Friday afternoon. 1/30/2026…read more Super slow service even having an appointment!!! Appointment told me to arrive 15mins early before my schedule time and I did. I got a ticket when I arrived, the ticket I got have 7 numbers ahead of me meaning it would be awhile before I can check in. I was not even able to check in after my appointment time has passed! They didn't move a single ticket number for 15 mins. Later I heard ppl with appt does not have to get a ticket, they should have clear instruction of that. Because the first thing you see when u walk in is a ticket machine telling you to get ticket, no where it mentioned ppl with appointment does not need ticket other than just waiting in line. But for today's situation it doesn't matter much because the line nor the ticket calling does not move much. Anyhow I was not even able to check in at the counter 20mins after arrival (that is only because I waited in line instead of waiting for my number to be called, otherwise it doesn't even look like they will call my number after 40mins) And at the end I got my blood drawn 48mins from arrival time. Seriously my blood draw process took less than two mins in & out. So I wasted 46 extra minutes of parking for something that only took 2 minutes. What's the point of having an appointment????And what's the point of going there 15min earlier than appointment time????? They let people without appointment for "drop off" to cut ahead of people with appointment and people with ticket waiting. If it was a simple quick drop off it's definitely ok, but it was actually not quick, it took him 15mins to handle a person with a "drop off" and they stayed at the window to process paperwork's for at least 15mins just for a drop off. Very unorganized!! Very slow. Only 2 workers here, and they are both Slow. They should have prioritize ppl with appointments and arrived early instead of letting walk in patient going ahead of ppl that has an appointment. Otherwise it's won't be necessarily for an appointment then.

They outsource FH testing to a company called "Genome Medical". My Monday consult with the genetic counselor was fine. She disclosed she was driving and I asked if she wanted to reschedule but she said she was fine. She seemed knowledgeable and I told her I was leaving the country Friday, but she assured me all as well. After the call, she told me she'd have the test kit sent via overnight shipping. Come Wednesday, nothing. I tried to call Genome Medical (the subcontractor, as far as I can tell) and I was redirected into a voicemail after a lengthy hold. I called Invitae and was told there was no order and to call Genome. Buck passing at its best. Can't wait for my bill. Genome finally called me back and I asked them to cancel the shipping of the test kit as I was not getting service or anything I was promised and that my GC was clearly too busy driving to remember the overnight commitment. They said they'd cancel. Next thing I know, there's an order. Which I missed because I wasn't in the country, like I said. No one can tell me if temps are a factor in accuracy. This is a joke. And if you're going to outsource your service, it's your job to handle your vendor. You don't get to tell me to sit on hold forever only to get routed to a voicemail. Unacceptable. And I have no recourse because Invitae just tells you goodbye.

I had a very frustrating experience with Invitae's genetic counseling support while trying to…read morefollow up on my whole genome testing results. I reached out with specific, informed questions about my report--particularly regarding documented limitations (including areas where additional or targeted testing may still be clinically relevant). I also asked about next steps given ongoing and evolving neurologic symptoms. Instead of receiving clear guidance, I was repeatedly told to "wait" until a future specialist appointment several months away. At the same time, I was also told I could submit medical records to support updated symptoms--but no clear explanation was provided for how that process works or whether it would allow for earlier review. That inconsistency made it very difficult to understand what my actual options were. The interaction itself was also concerning. When I attempted to ask follow-up questions or clarify discrepancies between what I was being told and what was documented in my report, I was told the counselor would not "go back and forth" on the issue. The tone came across as dismissive, and it did not feel like there was room for meaningful discussion. Additionally, some statements made during the call about the scope of testing (including claims about what had been ruled out) did not appear to align with the written report I received, which further added to the confusion. Genetic testing is complex, and I understand that not every question has a simple answer. However, patients should be able to ask reasonable follow-up questions about their own results and receive clear, consistent, and respectful communication in return. I would strongly recommend that Invitae improve: * Clarity around what whole genome testing does and does not rule out * Guidance on when additional testing may be appropriate * Communication standards for patient interactions This experience made an already complex process significantly more difficult than it needed to be. Patients navigating complex conditions should not have to push this hard just to understand the limitations of their own test results.
