EDIT: Getlabs has since refunded me 3/4 of what I paid. I am satisfied that they rectified the situation. Excellent customer service. Terrible organization, but you pay a lot. Ordered labs for my dad. Technician drew blood but didnt want to wait for urine sample. She showed up one hour late - after I paid $200 for a specific time slot. She told me I could bring urine sample to labcorp later. I did so. But labcorp said that Getlabs tech was supposed to leave paperwork, which she did not do. So I ended up wasting an hour of time and $200. Avoid getlabs. Use another service. read more

This place is terrible. I interacted with the NYC branch. Terrible customer service, avoid.

I used Getlabs twice early last year without issue, and I was supposed to have a blood draw between 6-8am this morning but had to reschedule and ultimately canceled that rescheduled appointment after the phlebotomist lied about not being able to find street parking and about a parking policy that does not exist. Things started going sideways this morning when I received arrival text messages that made no sense. At 7:00 I received a text that said "their current estimated arrival time is 6:00am - 7:00am" -- in the past. At 07:20 I received a text that the phlebotomist was "on the way" with an ETA of 7:21, one minute in the future. The phlebotomist called me at 7:20, right after that text asking about parking signs and I said to look for street parking; I live in downtown SF and while there is currently construction on my street, street parking at 7am is easy to find. They said that if they could not find parking within 10 minutes that they would have to cancel my appointment, which was news to me, as this "policy" is not stated anywhere when booking nor in appointment reminders and there is no mention of such a policy in the FAQs or in the ToS. I took a photo at 7:23 of an available spot at the building next door that I could clearly see from inside my apartment. I tried calling the phlebotomist at 7:24 to notify them of the spot. They called me at 7:29 still claiming they could not find parking even when I told them exactly where the still-available spot was and was looking directly at it while on the phone with them. At that point I reached out to support to reschedule. Then I walked around the block and saw at least 2 additional spots available within 1 block, around the corner and on the backside of my building. When I spoke with someone to reschedule, they did not take my complaint about the phlebotomist lying seriously. I have photos and screenshots that support my claim. I canceled my rescheduled appointment and will never use this service again because I became completely dysregulated from the delay, the lying, and having to reschedule. My lab was a thyroid blood draw such that I could not take my medication on waking. I also cannot eat until an hour after I have my medication, and because of blood sugar issues I get really dysregulated when my breakfast is delayed by several hours, which is why I have used this service previously. As far as the 10-minute parking policy, there is NO mention when booking nor in any of the reminders of such a policy, nor in the FAQs nor the ToS. The only mention of any 10-minute grace period was with respect to my being physically present at home, not their being able to find parking: from the automated text I received on their arrival 1 minute after I was notified of their arrival time, "Your Getlabs specialist has arrived! If you're not home, they'll wait for 10 minutes and give you a call before heading to their next appointment". So the phlebotomist also lied about this parking "policy." This is a busy city; you are responsible for responding to your appointments in a way that optimizes your ability to find parking. I cannot control SFMTA parking restrictions. I cannot control construction. This "policy" needs to be documented somewhere. It's sad this service has become unreliable. Lots of BBB reviews also complain about lost or incomplete lab orders, which is why I ultimately decided to cancel my rescheduled appointment and take my chances with a walk-in at a lab facility. UPDATE: Bumping up to 2 stars after I unexpectedly received a call from customer support the same afternoon based on an email I sent them that morning containing what I described above. The customer support representative was understanding and sincerely apologetic. She said that she had already forwarded my feedback to the appropriate person in the hope of there being additional training to prevent this type of situation from happening to anyone else, as this shouldn't have happened. She also pro-actively confirmed that I had been refunded. She made me feel heard and validated. read more

Getlabs - ETA in the past: received at 07:00 with ETA of 6:00-7:00 - Laboratory Testing Near Me

See all

So grateful for GetLabs - had such a bad experience with Labcorp so ended up spending the additional $$ on an appointment for fasted lab work using GetLabs. My specialist, Shabana came right at the beginning of my 2 hour window and she was so kind. I could tell she was an experienced phlebotomist, was able to pull blood easily and was done within 2 minutes. Total appointment was less than 10 minutes. She made me feel very comfortable, allowed me to lay on my couch and used a smaller needle to accommodate my fear of needles. It was an incredible experience and I hope to get her again if I have to have blood drawn for Labcorp again. Thank you for making it a great experience! read more

I will never book this service again. Just got a message that my appointment was changed from tomorrow to a week from tomorrow. This is a service that is unreliable as you don't book labs that you need in a timely manner, knowing that a company like Getlabs will simply change your appointment date. Never again. read more

The tech was an hour late outside the 2 hour window meaning that I was waiting in the morning in a fasted state for 3 hours. After weeks with no results, I get a message from GetLabs to fill out a request for the missing results and they simply tell me that I need to reschedule another collection without giving a reason as to why the first collection didn't yield any results. After I pressed the issue, I was finally told that the samples were at the wrong temperature. I asked what kind of guarantee I could get that the same issue wouldn't happen again if I did reschedule a collection and they simply said to reschedule or get a refund. I chose the refund. read more

My first experience with GetLabs in 3/26 went well, so I scheduled another for 8/26. I went off some medications for days before and the day of, and fasted. I waited 3 hours, only to finally get a call that no one would come. This is a hardship to a seriously ill homebound person. You can only interact with a chatbot. The company doesn't appear to have a robust routing system or enough reliable employees, and over relies on AI. They charge less than many other services so this hit and miss aspect is, unfortunately, predictable. Do not recommend. read more

You clowns lost my labs and I'm just now finding out about it six months later. Also they rescheduled the blood draw last minute forcing me to fast two days in a row. AVOID THIS COMPANY!!! WASTE OF TIME AND A WASTE OF MONEY! read more

DO NOT USE GETLABS I had an extremely disappointing and stressful experience with Getlabs. I am currently pursuing IVF after completing cancer treatment, and I needed time-sensitive labs done on a very specific day of my cycle, which happened to fall on a Saturday. Because there were no LabCorp locations open nearby on a Saturday, I was relieved to find Getlabs and scheduled an at-home appointment between 8:00-10:00 AM. I received both email and text confirmations, and was told I would be notified when the phlebotomist was on their way. But I never heard a single word from anyone. And worse, no one showed up at all. I attempted to contact customer support, but there is no real support available. The only option is an AI chatbot, which was completely unhelpful. When I requested to speak with a representative, I was told no one was available. There is also no phone number to call. It is unacceptable to offer weekend appointments without any form of customer support or accountability. Because of this failure, I now have to wait an entire month to try again - time that is incredibly valuable and emotionally significant in the IVF process. This experience was not just inconvenient, it was negligent and deeply frustrating. A service like this should be reliable, especially when dealing with time-sensitive medical needs. Instead, Getlabs failed to show up, provided no support, and left me without any recourse. Getlabs is incapable of simply doing their ONE job, so again I say: DO NOT USE GETLABS read more

I had an incredible experience with Altina in the SF area. I found this service through Labcorp and booked an appointment way sooner than I could've had I tried to make an appointment in office at LabCorp. I'm also terrified of blood tests and hate every second of having to get my blood drawn so the idea of a blood draw from the comfort of my own home really appealed to me. Altina showed up right at the start of the 2-hour window, was kind calming and so understanding, and made the experience as good as it could've been. I received a text a few hours later that my sample had been received by Labcorp. I was nervous after seeing all the bad reviews but definitely had a fantastic and positive experience. Edit: used this service again several weeks later and Mark was also fantastic. Right on time and did such a great job keeping me calm! read more

This company is terrible. They canceled coming to my house for a scheduled blood draw TWICE. Both times on the day I was supposed to receive service. They then rebooked me on a day I was not available without even asking me. They are so unprofessional and inconsiderate. DON'T USE THEM. I booked out 4 hours in total from work and lost income and still didn't get my labs done. Now I am behind in my lab work by a month! Lame and inconsiderate! read more

Blood was delivered to Quest Labs and not refrigerated. They were unable to perform tests. There is no customer service phone number available. Trying to contact via their online platform sends you in a circle repeatedly asking you to check your email to verify it's you and then being asked to fill out the request and it happens the same again and again. Not sure what to do now other than call my credit card company. Frustrating!! read more

A company coming to my home for blood draws sounded great. They even said they would come the same day! Wow! Of course I scheduled right away. Got a text a few hours later saying they couldn't do it today after all. They automatically rescheduled me for the next day. Ok no problem. But then they texted to reschedule me yet again, this time a few days away. Well, that sucks but maybe someone called in sick or something. These things happen. But that date came and again they texted to automatically reschedule me for the next week. That was irritating enough, but come Monday morning the texted yet again. They were cancelling my appointment. In all the texts they sent me, they never explained they kept rescheduling me or if there was some kind of problem. They never said why they were cancelling my appointment either. They refunded my money but never explained. This company wasted my time. Don't let it waste yours. read more

Changing review slightly upward as the copy of my bloodwork shows it was submitted to Labcorp the same day but it seems that coming from this company, it will s not given priority & get labs have no way of knowing or doing anything once submitted. Original 1star review: I had a Wednesday Dec 3rd Dr appointment & the earliest labcorp appointment was on Monday Dec 1st but GetLabs could come to my home on Friday Nov 28th, no indication that I would have to wait exactly 1 week to get results. There is no way to contact GetLabs except email & hope for a response. I got my lab results after my doctor's appointment. Blood was collected on a Friday Nov 28 & my doctor's appointment was Wednesday Dec 3rd , results popped up in my hospital charts Friday Dec 5th in the afternoon but not my LabCorp account profile so I can't see historical trends and Data comparison. The entire experience defeated the whole purpose of using this service. I could have just taken the Monday Dec 1st appointment at Labcorp because I now know that I would have gotten my results on Tuesday the 2nd as my wife did. There was no clear indication that using this service would take at least a week to get results & there is no direct way to contact this service & when I emailed them twice, they finally did respond to 2nd email as seen below. "Thank you for contacting Getlabs. We do not have access to patients' lab results. We recommend reaching out to your provider or the processing lab for information on your results. You can also view your patient portal for the appropriate lab:" In my opinion , this does not cut it & the turn around time is crazy slow but I will say the the person that came to take the blood and urine sample was On time, courteous , professional & I though the whole thing was convenient at the time but after this experience, I will definitely not be using this service again. I would not recommend this service unless you are completely unable to leave your residence, otherwise , go directly to the lab as the convenience of having someone come to your home will eventually lead to many other inconveniences. read more

Worst service ever. People should contact LabCorp and tell them to stop promoting GetLab on their website. For me, the phlebotomist mishandled one sample (used the wrong color tube) and did not collect a tube she was supposed to collect. Then when my husband just Reid this service they rescheduled him three times. All three times the phlebotomist no-showed. Please don't use this service especially if you have time sensitive bloodwork. Zero stars. read more

I had a good experience with this company. I was a little surprised at the reviews and how low they were. While I did have a reschedule on mine, they were able to accommodate me as best as possible. I was a little shocked at how there were appointments available very early in the morning, but this made things much easier for me. It was a quick in and out of the blood draw and any questions I had, were answered. The only concern I have is that my results, were not sent to my account with the lab it was supposed to go it (it's possible there is a new account, but I am not aware of such). Either way, I got the test results directly from my doctor within 2 days which was good enough for me. I'll definitely be using this company again should I need to. read more

I was excited to try this service and had anticipated it would be a more efficient way to help my immobile aging mother. I even paid $50 extra for a two hour time window for her blood draw. The service kept auto texting saying the phlebotomist would arrive shortly, however, they're 1 1/2 hours late, beyond the time window. Normally, I wouldn't be bothered by it, but there is NO way to contact anyone at GetLabs! There's no phone number that takes incoming calls or texts, and when I sent an email, and used their AI chatbot to get an ETA, I simply received a return email with my original message! No response from the "customer service" human that was supposed to "help" me. This is an example of why automating customer experiences must always include a human in the communication loop. The experience has been frustrating and NOT OK! And I want the $50 premium refunded!! read more

GetLabs drew my mother's blood at home (she is homebound) to help her physician determine what was going on medically. The blood sample was never delivered to the lab. Since then, I have been unable to get any human response from GetLabs to explain what happened, whether the sample was lost, or how they intend to remedy the situation or refund the $99 fee. Every attempt to contact them results in the same automated message stating they cannot access or share lab results--completely missing the point, since the issue is that the sample was never delivered in the first place. This was not a minor inconvenience. While waiting several days for accountability or resolution from GetLabs, my mother's condition worsened, and I ultimately had to take her to the ER. The lack of communication, follow-up, and accountability is unacceptable, especially when dealing with vulnerable, homebound patients. At this point, my only recourse is to warn others publicly and request a refund through my credit card company. I would strongly caution anyone considering this service to think carefully about the risk, as there appears to be no reliable process for handling errors or addressing the very real impact they can have on patients and families. read more

The bad experience started when the phlebotomist confirmed to me that my blood would be sent to the correct lab, then immediately walked out of my room and told my family that it wasn't possible and she could only take the samples to a different lab. EXCUSE me, I'M the patient and the one paying you, you need to talk to ME if there's a problem! It was incredibly dehumanizing to have a medical professional basically pat me on the head like a child and tell me what I want to hear and then discuss a problem with my family instead of me. Then... they lost my blood. You heard that right! 2 vials ended up in the right place, but the third just... vanished. Literally no one knows where my blood is, not GetLabs and not the lab. Not that it was possible to discover this for sure until more than a week and a half after my blood draw, because GetLabs is *impossible* to get a hold of! There's no phone number, and there's no agent available on chat, and the response via email is incredibly slow and even then frequently (deliberately?) misunderstood me about the problem. My family and I spent more than 10 hours trying to track down where my blood has gone and we still don't know, and GetLabs was a hindrance rather than a help despite the fact that they're the ones that lost my sample. This was an urgent blood test mind you! And it took more than a week and a half and HOURS of work to confirm that they had lost my blood! The one and only thing they did right was FINALLY give me a full refund, but we had to fight tooth and nail to get that done and we still don't know where my blood is so I'm not giving them much credit for that. So if you want to avoid being dehumanized, having your blood samples lost, and being unable to track down anyone that can help you with any of it, stay away from GetLabs! read more

do not use these sevices. they will reschedule you appointment in the middle of the time you already had it scheduled.

They never turned my blood work in! Never again! I waited for weeks and nothing!.......................

Very disappointed for the amount paid. Positives: tech arrived on time, was positive and was efficient and quick. Negatives: I had two labs to pull for - One of which my doctors office confirmed they sent over and they would not pull for that one because they claimed they did not receive it - even though I noted on the website prior. Frustrated to say the least. read more

After recent surgery I was notified that my creatinine was high and labs were needed. The lady that came was fine but I found out that they take over a week to get results. I don't even know where to start with this company. They are hard to reach, disorganized sent out people who you don't even want coming to your house let alone coming to draw blood from you. They spoiled half my blood samples then tried to argue with me about it when I finally reached them by email. so unprofessional. I was told that they used to be a reputable lab and at one point fired all their employees and hired new people that they paid a lot less. You can tell. read more

Booked an appointment for fasted labs, they kept delaying the case and eventually I got a text saying they were on the way. They then canceled the appointment and offered me a credit to re book. They told me they cannot offer me a refund so I disputed with my credit card company. They then contested that by saying I was a no show. read more

They insert themselves into the process, charge US for the visit, and when problems arise, they seem to not service us. They service the labs... Labcorp and Quest... not the paying customer. There is no phone number to call for service. They want all lab orders sent to them but the doctor's offices send them all the labcorp or quest. It is a nightmare to get copies and when you do, half the time they are rejected as missing information. Their Phlebotomists are great but the rest of the service is something set up so that Labcorp and Quest can get rid of their physical locations and not pay their staff. This is a money grab plain and simple. And they serve no one but themselves. If they want to take the place of the lab collection centers then they should be charging them... and/or providing the same level of service. read more

Would leave NO starts if possible. Schedule two weeks in advance for the at home lab test because I could not get to a LabCorp on this day. At the time the phlebotomist was supposed to arrive, instead I receive a phone call saying that the person called in sick and they could not reschedule until 3 days later. At that point I had to scramble to try to find a lab that was still open that day. I have since found many other reviews regarding cancellations or No shows. Their staffing issues should not be my problem!! read more

I've scheduled two appointments with them, only to have them call about an hour before the service to cancel. As we all know, it can be difficult to carve out time in your schedule to be home during their window. On top of that, you often need to be fasted for lab work. I can understand something coming up once, but twice in the span of a week? Unacceptable. There are other mobile services with better reviews. I've just booked an appointment with one. I'm hoping the experience is better than it has been with GetLabs. read more

Had blood drawn but the technician did not get the viles to UPS on the same day so the blood was "aged" when the lab received which now requires retest. Simply impossible to speak to a customer service rep, chat only- which is a black hole. We are now moving on and are forced to pay again thru a new company. Steer clear of this outfit- save yourself some grief and aggravation! read more

I wanted to add my experience to some of the negative reviews. I have pretty bad trypanophobia, and a history of fainting. Being able to get a blood draw in the comfort of my home sounded amazing, and happily my experience with Getlabs was super seamless and easy. Jennifer came at the early end of the window I scheduled, and was kind and quick. The draw was almost painless, and she made sure I was completely fine before leaving. It's an extra expense, but being able to do this at home was a huge relief and made my experience a lot more bearable. I'll happily do this any time I need a blood test. read more

Terrible service. Their increased fees are outrageous. They cancelled an appointment by text three times over three days, rescheduling -- without any input from me -- at inconvenient times. Non-existent customer service: a chat is the only thing available. The entire company seems to be collapsing. They don't accept lab orders that ANY OTHER LAB would accept. They send out conflicting messages about appointments and documentation needed.
