First try... Just a poke no blood
    Kimberly L.

Save yourself the gamble and make sure you don't get a newbie here! I came for a routine blood test and left with two sore and bruised arms. The lady I got seemed to be on her third month of the job and I knew it was trouble as soon as she spent the first five minutes of my appointment trying to feel my veins and switching back and forth with which arm to attack. First try on my left arm (because I'm a righty) she just poked me no blood came out. Then she moved to my right arm and blood came very slowly... She barely could fill up the tubes. When she pulled that needle out, blood came up and got on the chair. Eeewwww. That is NOT supposed to happen. Next time I'm sticking to the crew on post St. They were experienced and fast. Beware.

No appointment needed - I came in around 11am on a Saturday and it was pretty empty. They called me in within 5 minutes after they filled out some paperwork. So here is the crazy part - I have avoided getting my blood test done for months because I HATE needles and blood. And yes, I have passed out from a blood test before so I was really scared and freaking out at the same time when I came in to get this test over with. The lady that drew my blood (I think she was Filipino) was the sweetest. I let her know that I might pass out or get dizzy, and she brought me to a room where I could lay down to get my blood drawn. She kept me calm by talking to me and told me I could listen to music if I wanted. She would ask if I was okay, and another lady working there checked up on me too. She tried drawing blood from my non dominant arm (which I preferred), but my veins were too small.. so she had to try from my right arm and was successful. Whole blood draw process took about 15-20 minutes. The only pain was the small pinch from the needle and my arm did not bruise at all after. If I were to do another blood test, I would definitely coming back to this location to find this nice lady again!

Dirty facility. Often not open on time (elevator not unlocked). Blood draw was so painful and bruised my arm to the point of not being able to bend it for 2 days. I had a golf ball bruise. Refused to pay the out of pocket and had to go back and forth for 4 months and was sent to collections even though I was told the remaining balance was "taken care of".

Hope this helps people -- hours wrong.

The workers are all Professional, Efficient, Experienced, Competent, Patient and Kind! I've been to some medical clinics in the past where technicians try at least 2-3 times on my arms, hands, butterfly technique,... and they still aren't able to get a blood sample! It's painful and extremely frustrating! The Professional Experienced Labcorp Technicians at 2233 Post Street are always able to draw a blood sample from my arm on the First draw! They're the Greatest!!! Thank you!

The restroom was so small and poorly designed that I could not safely bring my cane inside. As a result, I fell in the restroom. Afterward, the lab technician informed me that I would need to return in 3 days, stating he was not willing to give me another attempt that day. I am genuinely concerned that a medical laboratory does not have basic ADA-compliant accommodations for patients with mobility needs. Accessibility is not optional--it is a requirement, especially in a healthcare setting where patients may already be vulnerable. This experience was unsafe, dismissive, and unacceptable. I hope Labcorp takes accessibility seriously and addresses this issue so others do not experience the same situation.

Friday afternoon. 1/30/2026…read more Super slow service even having an appointment!!! Appointment told me to arrive 15mins early before my schedule time and I did. I got a ticket when I arrived, the ticket I got have 7 numbers ahead of me meaning it would be awhile before I can check in. I was not even able to check in after my appointment time has passed! They didn't move a single ticket number for 15 mins. Later I heard ppl with appt does not have to get a ticket, they should have clear instruction of that. Because the first thing you see when u walk in is a ticket machine telling you to get ticket, no where it mentioned ppl with appointment does not need ticket other than just waiting in line. But for today's situation it doesn't matter much because the line nor the ticket calling does not move much. Anyhow I was not even able to check in at the counter 20mins after arrival (that is only because I waited in line instead of waiting for my number to be called, otherwise it doesn't even look like they will call my number after 40mins) And at the end I got my blood drawn 48mins from arrival time. Seriously my blood draw process took less than two mins in & out. So I wasted 46 extra minutes of parking for something that only took 2 minutes. What's the point of having an appointment????And what's the point of going there 15min earlier than appointment time????? They let people without appointment for "drop off" to cut ahead of people with appointment and people with ticket waiting. If it was a simple quick drop off it's definitely ok, but it was actually not quick, it took him 15mins to handle a person with a "drop off" and they stayed at the window to process paperwork's for at least 15mins just for a drop off. Very unorganized!! Very slow. Only 2 workers here, and they are both Slow. They should have prioritize ppl with appointments and arrived early instead of letting walk in patient going ahead of ppl that has an appointment. Otherwise it's won't be necessarily for an appointment then.

The appointment only took about 15 minutes for me, I scheduled it on the same day and then pulled up 5 minutes before the appointment. Staff took care of me and helped me adjust my positioning to get the most accurate scan. I got my results within a few hours online and I saw a full breakdown of my fat percentage, lean mass, bone density, etc... I would say it was a good value for the price and you can find discount codes online if you do some research (or use an LLM). Parking is kind of a pain though.

So, I decided to get a Dexa scan so that I could verify whether or not my Hume Bodypod scale was as…read moreaccurate as Hume Health claimed. I'll cut to the chase and tell you it was surprisingly accurate, and within the margin of error, although Dexa is the "gold standard." I won't bore you with the metrics but I will bore you with the experience. First off, the location for the mobile service has ample parking and was conveniently located. The mobile van was clean, the technician - Suhban Khan was very professional and knowledgeable. Like myself, he was also a fitness coach and had solid knowledge not only with Dexa but also the leading body composition measurement devices on the market and smart scales. We had a good chat and I interviewed him briefly for the YouTube channel. If you want to watch, here's the link: https://youtu.be/eJ9x2bf5QHA?si=sytHprsQ9ydwYn-R The scan took about 10 minutes time, with 6 minutes for the scan. You just wear light, loose clothing and lay back, while the scanner passes from your head to your feet. It moves a fraction every 30 seconds. The van was mostly quiet with ambient music - felt very much like any medical setting. Is this a necessary experience for everyone? No. For most people seeking general health I would recommend getting the good habits of proper nutrition, exercise and proper rest before worrying about getting a Dexa but...it will help keep you accountable to your goals and honestly, the subscription service is pretty affordable. I enjoyed my experience and will check in again in a few months.
