All the years that I have been coming to my Doctor in this area, I have never noticed this LabCorp and on a Monday morning it was packed with people. I've learned it is best to make an appointment; although you may still wait. This location appeared to be understaffed, I noticed the woman who checked me in also drew my blood. Regardless, she was LOVELY! Super polite, easy going, and I didn't even feel it when she took my blood. Seriously, I'd go back just for her. The place is a zoo. Already 45 minutes late for an 11:00 appointment. Their excuse, "it's lunch time here." Well then don't schedule an 11am appointment! Looks like an old, rundown bus terminal. Very poor management and understaffing now. The place used to be pretty efficient if you had an appointment, but not now. Last two times I came here in 2025 with an appointment and checked in online, I still waited for over 40 minutes beyond appt. I will say that once I finally got back to the phlebotomist, they were both very good (which is why I gave the second star). But the place needs a makeover, new management that cares to ensure there is staff to handle all appointments promptly, and some help with the soiled, overflowing waiting room. read more

I arrived 5 minutes early for my appointment time and waited for over 35 minutes until I finally asked why others were going ahead of me. No apology and no concern - just "they must have lost you". I made a fingerprinting appointment yesterday for this location at 1:00pm. At 1:30pm, a person came to say that the machine wasn't ready and that it would take half an hour to reload. Why wasn't the system up and running at 1:00pm??? I therefore had to reschedule an appointment I had at 2:00pm for 4:30pm. I had a tennis game scheduled at 4:30 that I had to cancel. Thanks to the ineptitude of the staff here, my entire afternoon had to be rescheduled. Ridiculous operation and unprofessional staff. I will not be returning. read more

This team is great! I made my appointment the night before using the LabCorp app. They have a cool kiosk that checks you in, but the staff is friendly and helpful to navigate it. Water dispenser there in waiting room, also a TV and magazines... I did not wait long at all. One try and 4 full tubes later, I was finished!!! One of the easiest sticks I ever had.... especially that I didn't know that I could drink water after midnight and it was now 2:00pm ( I thought water was part of fasting). The first person who drew my 5 year olds blood told her to stop kicking her like she was just kicking for no damn reason! Then when she couldn't get it they stuck her in the hand without even asking her father who brought her there was it ok due to that being such a sensitive area. Upon being "greeted" by the big dark woman in the front, I could tell this was going to be a bad time. My husband was here for a drug screening for a job with a new company. We showed up at 7 o'clock (the time they open) to be informed by the human debris in the front that the lab does not open until 8. My husband then requested to make an appointment for 8 o'clock to which she replied that they do not do this and to make it online. This company has no online appointment system in place whatsoever. When we returned at 8 o'clock we arrived to everyone else receiving the same rude, short treatment that we received. She is clearly unhappy with life and definitely with this job. When it was our turn she threw a sign in sheet at us and told us to move to the left. My husband then asked if she knew how long the wait will be to which she replied with the usual attitude, "No. I do not." I've now been sitting in the waiting room for about ten minutes which is plenty sufficient time to recognize that it was not just us, this is a pattern of disrespect. She raises her voice at people and is unbelievably condescending. I don't know how or who raised this woman but she is the worst example of customer service I've seen in a long time. And not only that but human kindness?? You're in the health care field for god's sake. Not to mention there are signs posted everywhere that read "customer satisfaction is our business".. I don't think so. Final thought, honestly, I am disgusted at the fact that there are MULTIPLE reviews about the same woman from 3 YEARS AGO and she is still here tormenting innocent patients. I want to start my review by stating that there is no such thing as a perfect place to get your blood tests. I've had to have my blood tested on a regular basis and I've been to each and every lab within a 20 mile radius of Laurel. With that said, I have always been truly impressed by this particular LabCorp location. The staff is friendly, polite, and knowledgeable. The phlebotomists, whether they are doing double duty as the front desk staff or not, listen carefully and address each customers concerns. I have a blood clotting disorder and this is the ONLY place that is willing to both use "a butterfly technique" and use cling instead of a band-aid or tape. My only issue? They are understaffed. But, even with the juggling of many tasks, they are efficient and speedy! I wish more places could be like LabCorp on Route 1! read more

Please don't go to this place. This place is unprofessional and dangerous. Patient/Client safety and security mean nothing to these people. I went to this place because there were changes at my workplace and all employees had to be drug tested. I am a Masters level psychologist. My workplace paid for the drug testing and we had to go to LabCorp. I was tested by a lady named Martha S. She was a very rude and mean Hispanic lady. Martha told me the procedure of peeing in a cup fir a drug test. I didn't understand the directions the first time because there was so much to do or remember and she went very fast through them. I asked her to please repeat the directions. She gave me a dirty look and asked me if I was that stupid that I could not get it the first tine. I told her I was not stupid and there is nothing wrong with asking for directions to be repeated fir better clarification. Martha had me hang my purse on the back of the lab door while I went to the bathroom. I went home after finishing the drug test and looked inside my purse. I noticed a lot of things were missing from my purse. My compact mirror, hand sanitizer, and safety body light for when I walk in the dark were all missing from my purse. I had all these things in my purse when I went to LabCorp, but it was all missing when I left there. My purse is never out if my sight and it was only out if my sight when I was at LabCorp with Martha. I also noticed that a few checks were ripped out of my checkbook. I had paid my rent that morning with my checkbook, so I know that several checks went missing after leaving LabCorp. I contacted my bank to tell them about checks being stolen and filed police report. I contacted LabCorp customer service 3 times, but never heard back. LabCorp is obviously about making money because they obviously don't care about the safety and security of their patients/clients since they never got back in touch with me. Martha is an unprofessional and dangerous criminal who robs people who come in and has destroyed the name of the whole LabCorp company or corporation. Not a stitch of friendliness about her, they really should consider putting someone more human at the front desk. Inconvenient limited hours. Even more limited hours for employment drug screening which is not provided via their notification system. Attempted to go in first thing in the morning before work since their hours are basically during 99% of people's work hours. Arrived first thing in the morning only to find out that employment drug screen hours doesn't start until 10AM!! Why do they need a separate staff to perform routine drug screening is beyond me but it would be helpful if information is provided about the actual drug screening hours when notified via email for employment drug screening. read more

They were extremely rude and very understaffed. There was only one person working here to do the blood draws, paperwork, and front desk services. I came in with my friend because she has anxiety and a tendency to pass out/ throw up when getting blood drawn. As soon as we walked through the door, the woman at the front yelled "YOU CANT BE IN HERE. PATIENT ONLY". Usually that's understandable especially in today's conditions, however as I previously mentioned her mental standpoint she needed me there. I picked this location because it was nearby and had a separate entrance thereby lessening my interaction with other people. The mobile check-in was great and service was pretty prompt. Now for the bad... the place is old. The bathroom for providing urine sample is horrible and the cleaning sign was already signed of at 10am for both am and pm cleaning checks. The worst was i was instructed at the front to go into room 1 for my blood work. I entered the room and the technician came in shortly thereafter. He put on gloves and proceeded to gather the materials.. I politely asked him if he could wipe off the arm rest where my arm would be. Instant attitude! What a shame. Honestly I would think upon him entering the room that would be routine. I recommend not choosing this location if you care about your well-being! read more

Don't use the Laurel (Baltimore Ave.) location! My appointment was for 12:00 pm. I arrived at 11:45, 15 minutes early, as they requested. I checked in via my cell phone and was told I would get a text when they were ready to see me. After waiting 35 minutes, I decided to step inside and see what was up. There were three people waiting in there and no one at the desk. I waited inside for about 5 minutes but got nervous because of Covid-19 and how small the waiting area was. Finally, after 45 minutes, I left. I got gas and lunch on the way home. Then, as I sat down to eat, I got a text from LabCorp saying my technician was ready to see me. I received the text at 12:51. Over an hour after I had arrived for my appointment. Lousy, lousy service. Go somewhere else. read more

I had an order for labwork since September and got into an accident the day I was headed to get my labwork done :-(  I finally circled back around to getting it done at the end of December.  I called this morning to find out if my order would still be valid.  Martha was so pleasant and helpful!  Check in, wait time, lab draw and out the door within 20 minutes!  I dreaded getting the labwork done which is part of the reason I waited so long but Martha's upbeat attitude, customer service and great skill made this a great visit. OMG - I HAD TO WAIT 2 HOURS TO GET MY BLOOD DRAWN AT THE VAN DUESEN LOCATION!! 2 employee's, 1 left and then there was just 1 employee!! Everyone that came in stayed about 15 minutes and left and everytime a question was asked she would stop so it made it even longer.. When I finally got in she said she had been a nurse for 22 years and then couldn't even hit a vein. When she pulled the needle out it was like air came out of my arm, you could actually hear it.. The other girl came back and she asked her to do it and she could see my vein and got it right away. wow, I hope my blood vile doesn't get mixed up wtih someone else's!! Damn! read more

As with the review from Cecily, I too wish I could give NO STARS to this location. I took my son to be tested for 2 of his doctors in order to get it over with in one visit. They had to stick him 4 times before they got any blood and then they had to stick him AGAIN in the other arm ,wiggling the needle around to get the last 3 vials. I even had to quickly return with a urine sample so they wouldn't throw the 5 vials of blood they had to take from him because the experience was horrendous! To top it off, they never tested the blood! They only did 1 doctors request, so they only tested 2 out of the 5 vials! I am so livid! read more

I'm among those who wish that they could give no stars for the Van Dusen location. I made an appointment online to cut down on my waiting room time. I received an appointment reminder and plugged the directions directly into my phone. I don't know what address the reminder had programmed but I ended up lost in a little neighborhood. I immediately called the office to let them know what had happened and that I was running late. The receptionist was so rude! I tried explaining the situation but she literally did not want to hear it, cutting me off to tell me that I was too late and that I'd have to wait with everyone else. When I asked her how long the wait time might be, or even how many patients were in the waiting room, she kept repeating that she didn't know. Then she hung up on me! Quick, efficient; I went there for a full blood work-up on 12/08. Going in, I was worried because due to recent illnesses I have become a "hard" stick, resulting in a lot of painful and bruising blood draws. The nurse assured me that her history of working with cancer patients had given her the skills to quickly find and tap into viable veins, and off she went. No pain, no bruising... she had me in and out of her chair in a snap. I will be using them again in April when I have to go for my recheck. read more

I had my blood drawn and urine sample done on a referral this morning, 4/20/2018. This is not my first time at this office but it is my first review of this office and I hope there is someone reading and acting on the reviews. While I have read all the previous reviews and tend to agree with the most of what is written. Here are my concerns: This office is not the most warm and friendly place to visit, so if you are looking for excellent customer service, this is not the Labcorp office to visit. I received my cup from the front desk to provide my urine sample after registration. What I have never seen before in any medical facility is a number of different urine cups with labeled urine samples with patients date of birth from previous patients placed in a container on top of the tank. I had to leave mine there also. I was very uncomfortable to doing this. People went into the bathroom after me and evidently left their samples there too. In short, people's urine samples can be TAMPERED with. Also there is no PRIVACY of information here. The samples should be removed after each patient or a window placed to put the samples so that someone of the other side can pick it up. Leaving SEVERAL samples in restroom is medically unethical. A point to note is there is also running water where the samples are left in the restroom. Hopefully my sample wasn't tampered with. I did express my concern to Gary when he came in to draw my blood, but he wasn't at all bothered with my concern. My blood was not drawn by Gary, who couldn't find a vein but by a young lady whose name start with a "R". She didn't give me her name on entering the room and I didn't see a name tag, so I asked her, "who must I say is drew my blood". Not sure she was very happy with my question. Wow! Should have known! This was a tad bit more convenient for me rather than getting on 295 to go to the Linthicum location during rush hour. Girl at the front desk-pleasant and professional. Still waiting and it's over 45 minutes for a urine drug test. Needless to say, I had to pee within the . Went to the bathroom, toilet overflowing, toilet paper not on TP rolls, water not on. I expected a lengthy wait, but the level of cleanliness is not appropriate for a healthcare facility. I understand the waiter must be shut off for drug testing but the restroom that patients use while waiting to be seen is required to have running water. I did inform someone in the back, she said: "That's fine". No it's not! My previous experience with Concentra was expedient and went without any issues. I will recommend Concentra to my school over LabCorps. It's over an hour and I can't wait any longer. I'll have to return later...but to the Linthicum location. There should be one person designated for urine drug testing. read more
