First of all, the staff was good. Med asst came in to take bp, pulse ox, didnot ck either temperature. Then came the nurse pract or something with very poor value of patients. We explained everything to her, she said she was prescribing Tamiflu. I asked about xrays and shots, she said we didnot need that. From Saturday to today, which is tuesday. Someone called out the blue from nxt level corporate office, wanted to do a followup after reading my review on their site. I explained as barely been able to speak how bad i felt, and me and my husband is not feeling good, when the under valued n. Pract told us the meds would have us feeling better in 2 to 3 day. She was a liar, just to get paid from our insurance. Corporate also is not worth it either. Well they asked if we wanted to go in and do chest xrays. After being soo weak getting back into the office. They wanted us to pay another copay. I told them corp and someone else called. Well after that i called corp back. They had me on the line about 20 minutes before returning to the line, saying we need to pay again. We left. Please read, pass the word. Now that I've gotten my new job and results back I needed to come write a review about this place…read more First I should have just gone to a Lab Corp or something that was my first mistake. This place was close to my current job that's why I picked it. First time I showed up I called early to confirm the closing time because COVID and all. They told me 5 when o show up at like 4:15 it's closed? I call the number on the door just to be told they close at 3:30? Than when I asked for the managers info all of a sudden they closed at 4:00. I got in contact with the manager and she confirmed they closed at 4 and that she was not in town. She was very nice but obviously the time situation was super frustrating because I left work early to do this. I had to end up coming back because to change the location I had to call the new employer and it was kind of a long process so I just sucked it up. I came by during lunch, came in no one was at the window, and no one greeted me. Finally someone came out and asked what I was there for and I told her. I went to the back and started the process. I've done a pre employment drug test before and this place was weird. First there was no privacy we went into a lab area where next to me was another guy that was doing a drug test and we could hear each others info. Like why don't y'all have rooms?? Or take 1 person at a time? I put my things away take my cup and use the bathroom. I come out and give them my cup the lady then starts saying there was stuff in my sample. I was like umm no and she was like "well what's this" pointing at my pee y'all! and I felt so awkward because AGAIN there was another person in the room! So your accusing me of tampering with my drug test not even in private. So she asks the other person in the room to look at the sample. So now both of them are looking at my sample and the other girl tells her that's normal so she finally puts it in another cup that I guess actually does the test. I was soo livid and embarrassed when I left. I didn't write this earlier because obviously I was waiting on my results and I don't want my review to somehow impact my results. Then I completely forgot until I saw it in my drafts. I would recommend management consider clients privacy and the staffs customer service skills. I will never come here for anything and will never recommend it to anyone.

Before today I've never had the absolute pleasure of a Covid 19 test. I had previously read about…read moreit on the internet and on CNN where they said Donald Trump and Covid 19 was going to kill everyone. Prior to my visit here today at Brazos Urgent Care I had not needed to be tested for the dreaded Coronavirus - 19 which originated in Wuhan China and although traditionally pandemic like viruses are named after their region or source of origin, such as the Spanish flu, MERS, etc. But since Donald Trump is racist, we do not refer to Covid -19 as the China virus, but covid 19, which is strange because we didn't do that with covid 1-18 but none the less here we are. Anyways when I called the person I talked to on the phone was friendly and upbeat and encouraged me to come by and let me talk and answered my questions. She set an expectation that was reasonable and when I came by that expectation was met and exceeded. The Dr came to visit and was very friendly. I learned that he likes Little Ceasars pizza and seemed very relatable and friendly. He nonverbal communicated that my jokes were funny but not as funny as I thought they were and left. Next there was a (I'm not sure if what word to use here if nurse? Medical assistant? Doctor? Covid Diagnostician? ) came in and gave me a very fun poke in the nose with a stick. They made it about as painless and comfortable as I would imagine it could be and definitely not as violent and awful as I had read and heard from people. It was definitely a lot less uncomfortable than I was told it would be and I was pleased with that. Anyways fun and friendly staff. If I need medical related stuff will certainly come back here. I am now waiting on my results. I will say everyone here was friendly and they made this the best covid 19 testing experience I've ever had so I left them five stars.
