This location is so convenient to where I live, easy to get to and get home. I always make an appointment using their online app, it's so easy and I feel bad when I enter and register at the kiosk that I am there and the place has other people waiting but my name gets called almost as soon as I sit down. This is why making an appointment is so helpful, plus you have all your insurance information in the system so no need to fumble in you wallet for cards. When you go back, the room where your blood is drawn is so clean, it makes me feel secure that I am safe from getting any kind of infection. I was nervous at first to make my appointment at this location given the low reviews, but my experience today was not that bad. When I arrived, the front desk window was closed and only the self check-in was available. The process was easy all you needed was a drivers license for a quick check in at the kiosk. I was seen five minutes after my scheduled appointment time which isn't bad. The staff was friendly. The phlebotomist who attended to me was in training and was overseen by her supervisor. I had no problem giving her a shot (pun intended) to draw my blood. Once she stuck me, the needle wasn't secure and moved, which caused me to flinch and resulted in me needing to get another shot. The supervisor was great with her, giving her tips and encouraging along the way. The supervisor stepped in to give me another shot to finish the procedure. She did a good job at collecting the sample but my arm hurt afterwards. She said I was dehydrated and I don't know if that changed her approach to collecting the blood but it still hurts several hours later. I had to do a urine test and when I came back to the room, she had a cup of water waiting for me and said, I looked a little pale and to drink and rest for a minute. That was very thoughtful of her to consider me after collecting the blood and making sure I was OK before leaving the office. I took off one star because my arm still hurts from the second shot. My other arm from the first shot feels normal. I would come back here to do any future bloodwork. read more

I arrived at the location at 7:30 when it opens. The girls didn't open the door until 7:35. She didn't turn on the kiosk for me to sign in and the kiosk said they were closed. She went straight to the back and I could see her behind the glass putting tissue paper into gift bags. Finally another employee arrived at 7:44 and I asked her about the kiosk and she turned it on for me to sign in. A few minutes later 3 people arrived and signed in and she came and called them all back and looked at me and said with an attitude, they had appointments. If they had not spent 20 minutes preparing gifts they could have had me online and out. My order was a stat order and over 8 hours later my doctors office still haven't received my time sensitive results. We paid extra for stat results and didn't receive it stat. read more

It's been almost a month since my son's blood testing and his doctor still doesn't have his results. I went to ask for sending the results and I was told the doctor has to request the results himself. The doctor's office called Labcorp and they still didn't send them the results. Now I have to go to a different lab and redo the testing. My son would be already taking his medication for a month if they only sent the testing results. read more

The office experience and customer service could be significantly improved. I witnesses an elderly woman who struggled to walk come in and ask the staff questions that were answered in short, curt sentences. Additionally, she mentioned that she had called the office and left voicemails several times, but never received a call back. That is why she was forced to come in person. The nurse/tech never once apologized, kept her arms crossed, and made silly excuses for the poor communication. I don't plan on coming back here after seeing that sort of treatment toward the elderly. read more

this place gets you in and out quickly and everyone is very nice- but my blood draw today skeeved me out. the phlebotomist typed on her keyboard, handled my credit card, and touched many other services while wearing gloves. She then proceeded to draw my blood while wearing those *same* gloves. That doesn't seem hygienic to me. She was very sweet and did a great job- aside from the gloves thing. read more

I have tried going to this lab twice now. The first time was during their lunch hour from 12:00-1:00. I went today just before 3:00 and they told me the tech had just left for the day. I looked at my sheet which said their hours were from 8:00-4:00 and then looked up and asked what the actual hours were. The receptionist essentially said, whatever the tech feels like working. There are no set hours. This is VERY unprofessional, whoever is managing this location should be ashamed of themselves. read more

This is the second time I have used this location. It was confusing to find at first because you have to enter through a gate into a little courtyard. Everything else went easy and perfect. Ms. Barbara took my blood both times. She is very gentle and extremely efficient. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes today. She has the sweetest southern mama personality. If your needing to be loved she is your person and when I'm getting poked with needles I need to be loved! Check in was awesome and easy with an IPad at the entrance. The receptionist's were friendly and efficient both times. The lab rooms are clean and neat. More stars if I could. Great job LabCorp Kingwood ladies. You rock! read more

First and last time here. I will pay more to go anywhere else. I came 30 minutes before they closed and she gripped at me the whole time. We are almost closed. Your lucky I I didn't already lock the door. She wouldn't draw blood from the arm I told her she had to stick me five or six different times. read more

To call this location a disorganized hot mess it a compliment. This is the second time I have been here. Both times rate zero stars. Labcorp has an appoint system online but if you think you'll be seen on your appointment time, your crazy. Maybe up to an hour wait. Very disappointed Labcorp. read more

Mrs. Williams was very friendly and has a great hand for drawing blood. Normally phlebotomists have a hard time drawing blood from my wife, in one instance 3 different people tried with no success. Mrs. Williams got it on the first try! We will definitely come back if we need blood work done again! read more

What is LabCorp thinking staffing the only location in Kingwood, a fairly large (~40K people) suburb of Houston, with 1 (ONE!) apathetic bedraggled tech to act as both intake receptionist AND blood draw tech!?!?!? I arrived at 7:40am on Tuesday, Dec 5, 2017, and this poor lady behind the counter just rolled her eyes at me when I asked what the "approximate" wait time would be...she said she couldnt provide any kind of estimate. I asked if it would likely be over an hour (seeing about 6-7 ppl waiting), and she said "I have no idea, I am here all by myself". I see increasingly lower-quality staff, and understaffing, as LabCorp's standard operating procedure. I may switch physicians to find one that does their own blood draws so I dont have to go to LabCorp again. The Humble location on McKay Blvd is better, only because it has more staff, but they are not confidence-inspiring at all. read more
