Ok. So, honestly I was not expecting much. It was ghost town when I walked in and there were 50-11…read moresigns for you to read to figure out what to do to sign in. Then to sign in was a whole ordeal for me. I didn't have some number and it didn't want to take my name until the 7th try. Lucky number 7! Thank goodness no one was waiting behind me. So, I finally sit down, there are two people ahead of me. A nurse comes out of one room about 10 minutes later. Then five minutes after that a patient leaves. A few minutes later she calls one of the people ahead of me who happens to be a VERY VERY uncomfortably pregnant woman. I was very nervous for her. She seemed very upset. Didn't want to ask any questions. About 10 minutes later a room door opens that I presumed to be a stock room, and another nurse calls the other patient waiting. Oh, and while we were waiting another patient signed in. She takes the patient and leaves the door open and is just chatting and we can hear all his personal business. It's very unprofessional. So why 4 stars you may be asking? Well when I was seen, the nurse who saw me was attentive, she was kind, and she was funny. Now it takes two, you can't go into places with attitudes and upset and thinking your frustrations are going to be erased. I was genuinely more amused by the entire situation than anything. Well accept for the patient confidentiality situation. That was not ok.

I got there, checked in via text and waited a whole 2 minutes. The tech called me in and took my vitals, drew blood and I was on my way. He had a little trouble with one arm but tried the other arm and was successful. Excellent experience and I definitely recommend. I got my results back in a couple of days. They notified me by email and I could log into the app.

This location is so convenient to where I live, easy to get to and get home. I always make an…read moreappointment using their online app, it's so easy and I feel bad when I enter and register at the kiosk that I am there and the place has other people waiting but my name gets called almost as soon as I sit down. This is why making an appointment is so helpful, plus you have all your insurance information in the system so no need to fumble in you wallet for cards. When you go back, the room where your blood is drawn is so clean, it makes me feel secure that I am safe from getting any kind of infection. They are so fast, before you know it, you are on your way home!

I was nervous at first to make my appointment at this location given the low reviews, but my…read moreexperience today was not that bad. When I arrived, the front desk window was closed and only the self check-in was available. The process was easy all you needed was a drivers license for a quick check in at the kiosk. I was seen five minutes after my scheduled appointment time which isn't bad. The staff was friendly. The phlebotomist who attended to me was in training and was overseen by her supervisor. I had no problem giving her a shot (pun intended) to draw my blood. Once she stuck me, the needle wasn't secure and moved, which caused me to flinch and resulted in me needing to get another shot. The supervisor was great with her, giving her tips and encouraging along the way. The supervisor stepped in to give me another shot to finish the procedure. She did a good job at collecting the sample but my arm hurt afterwards. She said I was dehydrated and I don't know if that changed her approach to collecting the blood but it still hurts several hours later. I had to do a urine test and when I came back to the room, she had a cup of water waiting for me and said, I looked a little pale and to drink and rest for a minute. That was very thoughtful of her to consider me after collecting the blood and making sure I was OK before leaving the office. I took off one star because my arm still hurts from the second shot. My other arm from the first shot feels normal. I would come back here to do any future bloodwork.

I found Angel Care Family Clinic on Google and saw all the great reviews they had. I decided to give them a try, I was a walk-in patient but they were still able to treat me fairly quickly. I was able to get diagnosed and get prescribed antibiotics in a reasonable amount of time. I initially had my prescription sent to CVS, but it turns out they weren't in my insurance's network, so I called the clinic back and they happily forwarded my prescription to Walmart, so I was able to pick it up. I remember prior to leaving the clinic I got really light headed and they gave me some ammonia to sniff it really helped! They even let me take a few for the road. I paid a $40 co-payment. I highly, highly recommend this place. Their kindness and dedication to their patients is something that is greatly admirable!
