This office is located in a busy intersection of town due to the proximity to the GWB entrances. It's in a building with other businesses, and located on the first floor. The waiting room is small, but it does have a water cooler. You need to drink up to perk up your veins when on an empty stomach. I was not here long, and the process was fairly simple. I had a prescription from my doctor in hand. I checked in at the kiosk in the waiting room. I was called up to the counter by the receptionist not more than 5 minutes after that. Then went in. I am sure not many people like their blood to be drawn, and I'm one of them. The technician made me feel very comfortable, and took the edge of my stress. Before I knew it she was done, and I was on my way. Could not have been in there for more than 15-20 minutes in total. The staff were very pleasant, and made me feel comfortable here. Also, being good at what they do is HUGE. I've been in a situation (at another place) where they could not hit the vein. Very gruesome feeling and experience. FYI: You need to set up an appointment online, otherwise they may not be able to help you. TIP: Parking is located in the back of the building, and there is also a rear entrance... Had an appointment for 10:30 checked in via precheck in my phone. It states to either wait in your car or in lobby. 10:33 came around no one was asking for my insurance or calling me. The front finally asks me do you have an appointment I said yes at 10:30, she says systems are down you need to check in here. GOOD TO KNOW 20 mins waiting here like an idiot. Maybe let me know? Have some signs??? Give me a call??? Imagine I waited in the car. Also very unsanitary to have 3 pens for people to write their name on the urine cups in the bathroom. read more

I have no reason to complain because I walked in an hour before scheduled time and they took me right away. It's just that there's a nasty attitude going on. Like they're doing you a favor. My 3 year old daughter needed blood drawn, so we made sure the location had experience small kids. The tech who worked with us was incredible. This young gentleman was kind to our hysterically crying toddler, and carefully checked for a vein before sticking her with a needle. He calmly got it in one go and we were out in no time. I can't tell you how grateful I am to him for minimizing the trauma for both my child and myself as a worried mom. read more

Joshua was at first very attentive to a child that wasn't feeling good, he was compassionate while the tech that was handling her was great and caring. I am a cancer survivor and being a pincushion is something that I anticipate well not this time. He was excellent. One shot draw. Bonus time.......just saying. read more

This place has the worst customer service ever . I don't know why would someone do business with them . They out right lazy

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Warning: This lab is very unsanitary and should be shut down by the Health Department. When is the last time a health inspector has visited? Upon walking in, I was surprised and overwhelmed to see such a small waiting area and all the seats were occupied. One family brought the entire family of 6 when only one person was being tested. Doesn't it make sense to find a babysitter? The Lab should inform the patients to limit the number of persons who will accompany them. I made my appointment online, but still waited about another 45 minutes before being seen. My experience continues to go downhill when I was called in for testing. You sit on a seat that has zero indication that it was ever cleaned and sanitized. Can you imagine the number of patients that are coming in daily and not to mention with contagious illnesses, bacteria and viruses. The technician started pulling out the empty test tubes into a bloody tray. These are the test tubes that she was going to use for me. How horrifying to see someone else's blood in the tray! When we told her what we saw, she reacted and threw out all the tubes. She quickly went off to look for another tray, but I did not feel assured that the new one was much cleaner except for that we didn't see any blood on it. She never apologized and actually took an attitude. When are these trays cleaned and sterilized? Doesn't it make sense that this should be standard procedure. This is vital for the health and safety of everyone. As for the urine sample, you write your name on the cup with a marker and place it on a tray where there was also someone else's urine sample sitting there and I could clearly read his name. I wondered how long his sample was sitting there. I wondered how long my sample was going to sit there. What about contamination? Also, what about the HIPPA Privacy Rule? All in all, a horrible experience. I should have listened to all the prior negative reviews. I strongly suggest you choose another lab location. My results were never faxed to my primary doctor. When I called to inquire after much research to speak to someone, I was told that it was faxed to another number. Very unusual and inefficient that there was no followup since I was told that lab corps fax attempt was unsuccessful. My primary receptionist said, "Oh, you used Lab Corp. I'm not surprised that we didn't receive the results." This is an honest review. You have been warned. read more

I wrote a review 1 year ago that was positive. I just went back for more blood tests. Now it gets a 1. Medicare never sent me a new card but i went to labcorp the day before and the office person found my old number in her computer . She told me she could use it. So i travel 1 hour today and fast and now a different girl wont take blood without my new card. My dr is angry. Medicare just told me they can use my old number as its my s s number. I wish they had a zero star option to describe my experience here. I walk in, the lady asks me for my lab work, and then proceeds to tell me "you need to pee in a cup". "Go to the bathroom pee in a cup then come back out". I do as told, and while I am in the bathroom, the lady behind the desk proceeds to speak with another guy who works there (dressed in scrubs) about how they are enjoying remote classes since they are able to "cheat" on their exams, and how its much easier. I finish my urinalysis or as the lady unprofessionally put it, "peeing in a cup" and at this point, am praying to God the guy speaking with her (dressed in scrubs), who just flat out claimed he cheats on his exams, is not the one doing my bloodwork. I walk in and see a woman in a lab coat who tells me to place my sample aside and take a seat. I literally thought "THANK GOD, a professional to do my bloodwork". Fortunately for me that lady's job was not to draw blood. The guy I mentioned earlier comes in, tells me "So you peed in the cup right", then proceeds to do the routine assessment before drawing my blood. He jams the needle into my arm, and with every tube he had to fill, he pushed the needle in further. This experience, unlike any other lab work I have received, has left me unable to lift my arm with pain and bruising. This was by far the most unprofessional, rude, embarrassing and painful experience I've ever endured. *Stay away from this place* read more

The office is very small, but there were only two people waiting ahead of me. The check-in process was efficient, and the technician called me in after only a few minutes of waiting. Zero stars. My doctor sent a requisition for blood work for about a dozen things to test. When I logged onto the system to view my results, there were results for only four tests - only ONE of which was a test my doctor ordered. The others were random tests not requested. With a copy of the requisition in hand, I called to alert LabCorp to the error and try to figure out what happened. They were very rude and unhelpful. read more

For the past 10 or so years, I dread getting my blood drawn. I have literally fainted more times than I could count. My General Doctor recommended LabCorp in Fort Lee. I was fortunate to get Cindy as my Phlebotomist. She went out of her way to make me feel comfortable and used logic, like if I faint, it is what it is, but we are getting this blood done today. I put my headphones in listened to music for not even 30 seconds and wallah, all done. 4 years later, Cindy is still my bff once a year! I came in for a standard gestational diabetes test and had to wait for an hour, despite having made an appt. I also asked them if it would be possible to get seen a little sooner just because I needed to wait an hour between drinking and the test itself. No luck. read more

I don't write reviews, but had to in this case because of how appalling their online system is! I read another review that said the waits are long without making an appointment, so I went online and made one, filled out 10 min worth of online paperwork and received a confirmation code. When I show up 5 min before my scheduled appointment, the office is crowded! And they can't find me in the system. Instead I have to refill out the paperwork I had previously done and wait in this HUGE line. The office staff said that this happens to the system ALL THE TIME! I find this completely unacceptable. If Labcorp is aware that their online appointment booking system is faulty, then they need to fix it. I do feel bad that my 2 star review impacts the actual employees at this location, because this is really a review for Corporate who needs to fix their system! The employees here seem to be trying their best and thankfully draw blood easily and efficiently and are actually really nice! read more

The receptionist was very rude. I had two blood work requests from different doctors. I asked her if I could do both with the one appointment. She did not answer my question and only asks if I checked in. I said "Yes, through the website and received a confirmation text." She just looks at me without responding. She starts typing in my information and says you need to wait 15 minutes after the test. I asked why and she says "because you have to for the second test". I asked if that is normal procedure for blood work. Eventually, I had to ask to see the lab work request form to figure out that my doctor ordered a test that required me to ingest something and then be tested after 15 minutes. She asked me to fill a form out for this and there was a question with a medical term I did not understand. She was unable to answer the question for me and just shrugged. If this was not a convenient location, I would not go back because of their service. read more

Each time reception is warm and welcoming and wait times are always reasonable. Both times a young lady by the name of Yanelkis drew my blood and each time no issues and more importantly no pain. I would give this place 0 star. The place was packed. The receptionist unpleasant. As people were signing in she would say: "you many have a seat" and turn her head. ( seat where??? There were no place to seat!!!! People were waiting in the hallway) As we were called in, we got to see the reason for the long wait. Only one nurse !!!!!!!!!!! Today morning I went in without online appointment (Getting that is crap from my previous experience). I waited half an hour to get in (thats ok), once I checked in self, one lady came in and said to the receptionist that she has online appointment and does not want to wait for half an hour. Immediately, the pig mouthed lady sitting at the reception came out and asked me to get out because those 2 ladies have online appointment. I informed my previous experience with online appointment-that time you considered first come first serve- She denies and says in Fort lee office it was not the policy. Now a lab tech came in and showed some courtesy and took my paper- At least that much. I went out and 2 minutes later I was claled in and sample was collected- Lab tech did a good job- so the 3 stars- She says the receptionist is scared that supervisor will come in and find her at fault if she wouldn't have asked me to get out for a while. So this is the kind of crap supervisors you have at Lab Corp? Please teach your staff to behave with manners- If online appointment is preferred, it is good- but don't let office staff know they can't show 2 type of behaviors at 2 separate occasions. read more

Terrible 0 Stars!! Came in from the pediatric office upstairs with a sick child and they said since it's 2:40 and they close at 3pm they will not do blood work and we have to return with our sick child tomorrow!! There were no other patients in the waiting room. read more

We took our 2 year old daughter for her bloodwork and had a horrible experience. The person there was very inconsiderate and asked us to leave and come back after poking my daughter's arms several times. We just left and went to Quest instead a few days later and we were done in 30 minutes without crazy screaming and crying. We will never go back to LabCorp in Fort Lee. read more
