I made an online appointment, check-in went smoothly at the kiosk. I was seen on time and my Phlebotomist, GiGi, was friendly, efficient and painless. I have what I refer to as "shy veins" and GiGi was able to find a vein and administer the blood draw without any problems. She was careful and caring and very personable. Facility was clean and not crowded. One woman who was waiting for some kind of approval code from her doctor was given special attention by another attendant who was determined to get the process going and to help anyway she could. I had my doubts previous to going having seen some rather frightening reviews, but it couldn't have gone any better. Well done Quest! read more

Would rate it -10, if that were possible. Sidewalk was not shoveled when I arrived after 9 this morning for my appointment - over the weekend we had about 4' of snow. My rollator slipped and slid, but I got into the building, only to find the elevator out of order. I was not about to try to climb stairs or carry my rollator. Called upstairs to report my plight - no person responded and machine did not understand my message. I left without getting my blood drawn! Not only was staff extremely rude, but I have extensive bruising and internal bleeding. It has been almost a week and I cannot extend my arm fully. Whoever has the first office on the left was careless and heartless, saying nothing as I sobbed while she took my blood. read more

Scheduled a midday appointment and when I showed up there were a dozen angry patients waiting to be seen. I was early so I waited a half hour or so, then when someone finally announced that they weren't honoring appointments I walked out. They don't even have a front desk or receptionist to let you know what's going on or wait times, you have to flag someone down in between patients, and that's if they don't ignore you. If they're having a scheduling problem then they need to turn off online scheduling for their location and make regular announcements on wait times/how to check in. I'm a full time student with a full time job so I'm pissed my time was wasted, but also in complete disbelief of how long they had 80+ year old patients waiting. At that point it's cruel to not just be honest with them that it will be hours before they're seen. read more

visited this location of Quest this morning - again, seamless check in, short wait time. I was in and out in under 15 minutes. In addition, tech who drew my blood was very skilled. I usually have a large bruise after a blood draw, but had almost no bruising at all from this tech. read more

For what I've read so far I wouldn't be caught dead in a facility that are not professional or courteous to the patients coming in with an appointment or walk in and they're basically talking among themselves on their cellphone on working hours not personal time and they have the place messy too! It's impossible to be seen here. There is no kiosk to check in once you arrive, as it's been ripped out of the wall. No one comes out or check you in, even when the waiting room is empty. There is no number to call to alert the staff that you're there. I've had half of my appointments cancelled day of or found the site to be closed when I arrive. On the rare chances I was actually seen, my labs could not be retrieved from the electronic system. The staff doesn't wear their masks properly. This place needs to close permanently. read more

Not my favorite Quest location...however, this is one of those locations that "takes appointments"...Not that I needed one, because there was pretty much no one there. This place is just a block or so from the A-train...so it's also really easy to get to and it's located right next to Columbia University. The phlebotomist was good and quick, but the facility was pretty messy. There were used gauzes and band aids everywhere...GROSS. This place should close down or bring in NEW staff. I went in today was sent away and treated like a pure imbecile for no reason. I have never been treated so rude. I fear how our grandparents who come in are treated in this horrible place that exist in our community. I have been to other centers and the staff is magnificent why oh why is this place in existence where everyone is super rude. The lady they had in the front was sitting there busy on her cellphone and treating everyone mean. I initially didn't want to come here because of the reviews I saw. Then this morning I went online to make an appointment because I figured it's the closest location for me to get to and I couldn't keep putting it off. Basically everything was pretty fast and easy from when I made the appointment online to leaving the location. I arrived at this location and signed in about 10 minutes before my 9:45am appointment. Within a few minutes Kelvin informed me that I would be next which was reassuring and later called me to the room at my appointment time. There were other people there so I guess you could go in as a walk in if you wanted to and not have to wait that long. But it's nice to know that this location respects appointment times if the patients are on time. He was very polite and informative during the process. The waiting area was nice and clean as well as the room where my blood was drawn. I felt like he took the time and care needed and my appointment didn't feel rushed. He also explained how I could get my results on the website which was very helpful and I later signed up for. read more

The place is clean, but stepping through the door I was assaulted by a blaring tv at 8:30am. After 20 minutes, only one of the 7 people sitting in the waiting room had been brought in.apparently, there's only one lab tech. As a follow up, as I was waiting, I logged into the quest site and lodged a complaint. The next day I got a call from the manager who thanked me for contacting them, saying that they often don't get feedback, and that he'd spoken to the woman. Gotta say, I respect that. Somebody seems to give a crap. Hopefully that young lady will learn that it's not about her lazy ass, but, like every business, it's a customer service business. read more

I had an appointment Scheduled and confirmed for 1:30pm today And when I came to the place the place was closed. We knocked on the door and finally a lady came out and said that they were not doing any more appointments for the day. I asked her why nobody called to cancel or to give us an update and she just said we're closed, you have to come back another time, maybe someone will send an email later. There was another woman who also had an appointment waiting with me. We were both shocked. I will never come here again and I will try to do my testing elsewhere. this is extremely unprofessional and it was a complete waste of my time, Especially after I had requested the time off from work. Had an appointment at 8:15am and waited an hour for a blood draw. The place is awful.

Quest diagnostics advertises that people over the age of 60 have priority during the hours of 8 am to 9 am. Well in this office they do not. I had to wait in line just like anyone else and when I told the technician about it she said she didn't know anything about that. So what is the sense of telling people to come in to have express service, when they are not doing that. I was there fro 7:30 until 10:45. No priority for people over 60 and we are the ones most at risk. read more

This is the slowest quest I've been to they only have one person to attend 15 ppl and even the people dropping off specimens have to wait for everyone getting blood and other materials first. Either way I feel that there is no system to keep things moving especially in the afternoon when people are stopping after work there are a lot of ppl and only one lab tech to take care of everything not only is that bad for her but also the patients that need to wait 2 hrs to get a simple blood draw like me. read more

I had to get a blood test here. It's a simple procedure that went horribly wrong. After waiting 15 minutes past my appointment time, I was called. The phlebotomist was barely literate in English, so it took her 15 minutes to correctly enter my basic info. Then, she tried finding my vein, stuck the needle in the wrong spot, and began digging around for my vein for a while to no avail. 3 TIMES. It was extremely uncomfortable and unprofessional. In the end, somebody else had to do it. I don't know why they hired that phlebotomist, but she was terrible. Highly discourage you go to them. read more

Been waiting over an hour, and the technician has seen only 2 pts. I'm sure it's not necessarily the technicians fault (there's only one) but more so the inability of the company to ensure efficient service for consumers.. I'm sure people come on their lunch break expecting to get back in time for work, but there's already been an argument because of that exact reason... Quest- Hire more technicians so people can be in and out in a timely fashion. This is cray. read more

I set an appointment, it started on time at 8:45am on a Wednesday. I had a 3 hour time course test and had to stay in the waiting room. I saw 1 to 3 patients in the waiting area at a time at most. The technician was skilled, respectful and pleasant. The facilities were clean. No one waited a long time while I was there. I feel good about my experience. read more
