I've never met such an unfriendly and unprofessional receptionist in my life! The worse one was the rude latina receptionist. Granted I don't expect a hug when I come in but no greeting nothing. She just curtly tells you to sign your name on the list. I ended up sitting close to an hour until I noticed people who came in after me were getting serviced. So I go up to the counter only to see my name highlighted off. I ask the witch at reception why she didn't call my name. Without looking at me, she points to the list and said she called me but I didn't respond. Her eyes were stuck to her pc screen the whole time. She was probably shopping on ebay. Now that I recall, someone did shout my name out the same time the lab tech was shouting another name but they did not call out my full name so I thought there was another person by that name. Since I've been waiting a long time and it's inching up to 11, I said when will you take care of my paperwork? She yells, "I'm taking care of patients right now!" No sorry nothing. My first time here very small office. Once I walked in I was not greeted at, I was just standing around waiting to see one of the front desk people. Then was told to sign in and sit down. As I was sitting down I can hear everything going on such as people's address and what kind of labs they were getting done. So much for privacy. After 25 min I was finally called and was told to give a urine sample and here I am standing with a cup in my hand not knowing where to go, so I ask where do I go? And she points outside and says "black door" ok so i go there and find out I have to bring my sample back how embarrassing. I wrap my sample in a whole bunch of paper so no one can see it. What ever happened to those little doors where u can put your sample in? The phlebotomist Amy was really nice and she made sure everything was correct, which made me feel at ease. Five stars for her,I know no one likes to get blood drawn but it has to be done. Okay, yes, this place is an O.L.D. old building and yes, the bathroom could be a tad cleaner but what LabCorp office is in a super modern, clean building? None that I've ever been to. This place was just fine - I found the staff friendly and professional. It's easy to make an appointment online too. I was able to make a same day appointment for blood work and when I showed up 40 minutes early, I was admitted within 15 minutes and out of there in 25 minutes total. I have small veins and hate needles but the tech was friendly and had no problem drawing my million samples. The building is not well marked but it's right next to the St. Francis Square shopping center and I ended up just parking in that lot. read more

Today, October 7, 2021, I had the most horrible experience at the LabCorp, Daly City, CA I walked in at 10:45 am to have a blood test. I made no appointment, and was prepared to wait in line. A lady behind the counter, her name was Shari, told me the wait will be one hour or longer, and she would text me when it was my turn. I checked with her after 1 hour, and, in a raised voice she screamed that I have to wait. With that, she took my paperwork. After waiting for one more hour I came in to check if she forgot to text me, and she screamed at me again. At that point I decided to wait inside. Soon I learned, that the blood drawing technician came to call my name several times, while I was waiting outside, Shari to fail texting me. Then, still screaming, she called me a liar, and she refused to give me her full name. Her first name I found out from her colleagues. After not eating or drinking for 5 morning hours my blood pressure was up, and I was dehydrated. For the sake of all patients Shari needs to be dismissed from LabCorp, and her work license needs to be revoked. read more

Horrible. In addition to waiting for close to an hour, they gave me the wrong test and were very rude about it. I had gone in for a specific test ordered by my doctor. And when it was my turn to get my results they didn't even tell me what test they were doing until I asked. When I told the test my doctor sent in the phlebotomist then said "well this is the test you're getting today" as they jammed the needle into my arm. Utterly disgusted with these people. read more

This lab corb before it became bigger, which is the funny part, was full but they were fully staffed and wasnt to much of wait. Now its bigger and the wait time is so long due to short staff? But this has been an excuse for a year and more. Is lab corp a company people dont want to work for because it seems like many people are are ready to work, I dont know. The worst part is this isnt even the issue. I get it things happen companies are bad ect ect. What erks me to the bone nd then to the marrow is the lack of customer service. Its total shit. Anyone at that desk do not acknowledge you when you have a question or need assistance. Just a straight "please sign in at the kiosk." Or nothing at all. My dads elderly so I need to assist him and had a question, which I called before hand but idk why I bothered. Anyways, I had a question in regards to a lab order that was sent by his doctor. I wanted to make sure it was in before I had him seated as it would be an inconvenience to him. Whatever. The point is what happend to just regular customer service nothing even above and beyond just a simple hi how can I help and then please check in to the kiosk. Its crazy. Honestly, having a father that's elderly while I myself am 28 really makes me see how rude people can be to the elderly community. I hate leaving bad reviews and never do especially if its just a one time bad experience. Why bash a business for bad day, but this is like every time I have came here with him and it's the same results. Labcorp is the WORST Lab to use. I'll go to the hospital lab next time. Went to the Ocean Ave location said it was open 7 to 3... nope! Closed for lunch at noon for an hour then the close at 2:30. Called the Daly City location.... No one answered the phone. So decided to go over here... big sign the wait will be over an hour because they don't have people working here. Save the frustration and go somewhere else... ask for a different lab in the future... I will!!! read more

Do not go to Labcorp. First of all, the place is gross, you have to wait an incredible amount of time and the sanity is questionable. Second of all, it is incredibly expensive compared to other laboratories in the same area. Finally, two months after making me pay 400$ (no insurance at that time) for a simple blood testing, I received another bill asking me to pay for 230$ more that were not on the original bill. After days on the phone with them and with my doctor, they told me my balance was cleared. 6 months later, I received the bill again, for the same amount. So I called again and they told me the person I had on the phone (which as suppose to be a manager) that told me my balance due was cleared, was indeed not educated and was completely wrong. Now they are threatening me to affect my credit score if I still dont pay for something I shouldnt have had to pay for in the first place. read more

First time here and I had a great experience. I came here on a Wednesday afternoon - not busy at all. The self check-in process was quick and easy. Receptionist took care of my bill right away after checking in. I was called in within 10 minutes for the urinalysis and blood draw. The toilets though can use some cleaning. The technician that drew my blood was also very friendly and knew exactly what she was doing, I was ready to go within 5 minutes of sitting down. read more

I was recommended to come here for a urine test ($88) as a last-minute resort by Dr. Marie-Jean Takis. It was a rainy Saturday morning, and the Yelp reviews didn't do this place any favors. So I went in prepared to wait for a long time, suffer bad service, and may not even get the test done. But to my surprise, I was in and out within 20 minutes! What's more, the receptionists were very efficient and pleasant. So while it hasn't worked out so well for others, I am thankful it did for me. read more

It's sad to realize that most, if not all, labs that take your blood have such low ratings. Like any medical services that require physical contact, patients should be treated with some respect and courtesy. After all, we all have a reason to get our blood drawn here. It's no Disneyland! My rants about this particular lab: 1) Front desk people never smile. If anything, they have a bit of a rude attitude. One girl kept smacking/chewing on her gum like a cow; annoying. 2) She ties your arm with the rubber band TOO tight that you feel like your arm's gonna turn purple and blue. 3) They don't fax my results back to my physician. I'd have to try and call them to remind them. But when I do, nobody answers the phone. It directs me to their answering machine, yet I can't even leave a message due to their message box being "FULL". So it hangs up on me. Labcorp is the ONLY lab that Brown and Toland medical group is contracted with. I might even change my medical group. Brown and Toland is horrible. Which reminds me... Awful. Simply awful service. I showed up for a specimen drop off and tried show the young front desk lady my email with lab instructions but told me to sign in and wait. So I waited. And waited. After 45 minutes of waiting I decided to check in and ask the other front desk woman how long it'll be until I get seen. The other younger front desk woman was clearly rude to many other patients and seem to be heading out for lunch. I approached the other lady and she checked for my name. Somehow, even though I was literally sitting next to the desk, they skipped me and had already called at least four people past my name. She immediately checked my paperwork only to tell me that they don't do my type of lab specimen for some reason. Great, I waited an hour for nothing. If the first woman would've just looked at my paper like she supposed to then I would've not wasted an hour of my time and sent me to a different location. I understand this kind of job can be stressful but that doesn't mean you don't do the minimal amount of customer service. read more

If you are able, go get your blood drawn in the afternoon. I know that is tough when fasting, but it is crowded in the morning, and even with an appt there can be a bit of a wait. I had to do some routine lab work after having a doctors visit and luckily this lab is really close to my house. If you're unsure of what location will be convenient for you, the website will easily help you find one. I made my appointment the night before and all the morning spots were taken so I made mine for 11:30am. I had to fast so I really wanted to go as early as possible so I'd be able to eat right afterwards. If you're required to fast, you should plan accordingly. Signing up online was very quick and easy and all you'll need to bring to your appt is your lab order form from your doctor and your health insurance card. There's plenty of street parking but be mindful of the street cleaning hours so your car doesn't get towed. It's in a building shared with other medical offices but the waiting area is pretty big. Luckily there were only a few other patients ahead of me. As soon as I got called in, the blood drawing really took less than 10 mins. Im overall satisfied with how quick and efficient my appointment went and would suggest scheduling on the website to see al available openings. read more

I've gone to this lab for blood testing over the years and it is usually crowded. I'm not quite happy with my overall experience because the lady at the desk is a bit rude. A few times I came in for a 3 hour blood testing for my glucose levels and it was probably about 8am. She goes and say that I should have come earlier (they open at 7:30am and close at 11am). Well.....that was the earliest I could come! I had a toddler at home and getting him up early was a challenge. I didn't say that but I found it rude for a front desk to assume anything when frankly, I was there pretty early. I can't give this a completely bad review because the wait isn't actually that bad and the blood drawers were all very nice and would strike up friendly conversations. This place is terrible. Long wait. LONG wait. While you're waiting forever, they talk so loudly that everyone knows exactly what test everyone else is getting. I vowed to stop coming here a couple of years ago when they were charging EVERYONE $50 no matter what and then sorting out the real billing later. Well, that's illegal and they finally stopped doing that, so I gave it one more chance. Still the worst place to get a blood test. Never again. Seton Medical Hospital a couple of blocks away still has a long wait, but everything else is much, much better. Oh, and the guy that looks like Skeletor who takes the blood needs to stop smiling. My daughter needed lab tests done urgently on a Saturday for school matriculation. After a short wait (no appointments were available so we were walk-ins) - the phlebotomists (Shari and Benjamin) were amazing. Unfortunately there was a problem with our order and one test request was missing. They stayed long after closing time to assist us in resolving the issue and were so kind and supportive. When my daughter felt unwell during the blood draw they both went above and beyond to assist us in every way and we are so grateful. Truly lovely, caring people. read more

MAKE AN APPOINTMENT!!! Although I arrived early for my 10:30am appointment and waited for over a half an hour to be called up. I looked at the clip board for people who didn't have appointments and were walk-ins waiting to complete their lab work, people were waiting for over an hour, some lady even signed in at 9:20am and had not been seen by 11:05am when I left! So make an appointment if you can, at least you shouldn't have to wait for a long time! The lady at the front is kind of rude and certainly does NOT abide by patient privacy rules! She was trying to do too many things at one time and was mixing up information between me and another patient- she even gave me his ID as though it was mine! The nurse who drew my blood was named Cecilia. She was nice and pleasant, and even offered an apology for the long wait. I requested blood be drawn from my left arm since I'm right handed, and she said it was ok (prior times I've had blood drawn I've asked for it to be out of my left arm and for whatever reason it always ends up coming from my right one). It took all of 2 mins to complete and I was out of there by 11:05am. read more

Online reservations are a must. The Ukranian dark hair receptionist occasionally draws blood is THE best. She always got first stick and goes slow so as not to cause pain. The guy with shaved side hair and long nasty rat tail hair is always in a rush and the worst at sticks. I've had bad hematoma and required twice hand sticks after both arms failed. read more
