This place is easy to find. Has free parking, where I usually sit in my car half an hour before exam to review. This is always my first choice for board exams test center. It's less stressful when you know parking would be abundant. There is a security downstairs, new elevators now, and proper procedures per usual. Lockers are provided for you to put your things in prior to exam. They give clear instructions. Typically you find out your results right away, if not there would be a print out with instructions. Your palm would be scanned, photo would be taken, pockets would be checked.. and individuals with hair past your ears that would be checked to make sure there are no bluetooth in place for any cheating. All in all the only place I'd want to come for my exams as it's also close proximity to me, so I hope they will always keep this location open and have more dates here as a choice option. read more

This review is for the staff at this particular testing center... Incredibly cheerful, kind, and friendly staff that made a nervous testing day so calming for me. I had two exams to take with a 3.5 hour gap in between and they kindly informed me that they could accommodate me to take it earlier than the afternoon appointment time. Highly recommend this location. (The building itself is beautiful and has a nice lobby to wait in if you arrived before their 7:30am opening time). read more

Today, I went to Pearson view to take a proctored exam at a certified testing facility. When I walked in, I did not immediately notice the sign before the check-in door that told people to be quiet because it is just one group. My assumption was that it was multiple rooms, where people check and get admitted and another for the testing itself. But that was my fault for making assumptions. My other assumption was that even with the computers next to each other, I thought that there would be dividers or some sort of blinders that would help you from, being bothered by the next you, in this case, there was none of that. The computers are laid out on picnic tables spaced out accordingly, and if the noise from other people is bothering you, and you can request earplugs. But because my certification test was only 100 questions, I figured that I just suck it up and deal with anybody trying to bother me and try to tooth them out. I assume that there would be a pin scan to help maintain my identity, but there was none of that. I intentionally were closed that did not have pockets because I didn't wanna have to turn my pockets inside out. I intentionally wore clothes that don't have sleeves because I read on yelp that the facility was warm enough to just wear shirt. Which is great when the temperature is in the 60s and Dailey city. Before I entered the testing room, there was a note in the room that requested people to use hand sanitizers prior to go into the room. I use the hand sanitizer, but I wasn't verbally asked to use it. And once inside the testing facility it's not as clean as the testing facilities That I visited when I was first started my career in Information technology two decades ago. The site felt very antiquated. I feel that they can utilize an upgrade, even though people aren't taking the same test. The print is so large on the screen that I didn't need my glasses, but you could also read the computers ahead of you of whatever test that whoever is taking and their name even if it includes the middle initial. Which made me very fearful that the people behind me could be reading my legal name and what type of test that I'm taking, I feel that many blinders could help and also having two person monitoring system could help also. I'm just glad that nobody has to take the SATs in a room like this because this room was not meant for privacy. And maybe I'm just hyperfocused because I just passed my cybersecurity CC at this facility in Daly city, or maybe I'm just normal person being cautious. read more

Nice and organized. Clean. Everyone was kind/polite, no attitude. Vicki was especially sweet. There are about 15 stations in total - nice high partitions in-between. I felt comfortable wearing short sleeves inside. I think it would have been too warm if I were wearing a sweater or jacket, but YMMV. You can take cough drops and eye drops in - they will have you unwrap the cough drop and place it on a tissue before going inside the testing room. Earplugs provided. The only thing that threw me off a little bit was the monitor - very wide, so I had to back up a bit to read it all comfortably. They had warned that there is ongoing construction, but I didn't hear anything. Each station has industrial earmuffs that can be used in addition to the earplugs if needed. read more

The staff here were so friendly and made me feel so comfortable during my test! By far the best experience I could have had with an exam. The facilities were nice and the location was very easily accessible, especially with the parking garage next door. Would definitely recommend for any proctored exams. read more

I've taken two exams here and they were both wonderful experiences (or at least as wonderful as taking an exam can be)! I was so nervous, and the front desk staff member was so nice that I immediately felt better, and told her so. She did all she could to make the whole test-taking process as painless as possible, and I made sure to ask for her name (Cynthia) because of the impression she left me. The next time I went to take an exam, she was there again, and was just as great as the first time - warm, professional, and had a calming energy about her. Thank you so much, Cynthia! Additionally, the test-taking facility was clean, the other staff members were also efficient and professional, the process of checking in an out was seamless, and there were convenient lockers for storing our things. Parking is free in the garage adjacent to the building as well. I don't love taking exams, but this Pearson Vue location is great for when that's unavoidable! read more

Visited this location last month when it came time to take my NCLEX exam! It is easily located since it is in the big building right next to Century Theater. If you're planning to go to this location, make sure to sign in at the front desk (if you're taking the NCLEX), not sure if it is the same process for other exams. Everyone working at this facility was extremely nice, and accommodating. They knew exactly what they were doing, and were very clear with the instructions of what to do and what not to do, and were extremely helpful and knowledgeable for any concerns that I had. The bathroom was also close by and sanitary (very impressive bc who doesn't like clean bathrooms :D?) They have you sit in your own cubicle and throughout my entire test, I had little to no distractions. I felt safe, and comfortable with a bit of test anxiety but that's a given. Everything sailed smoothly and were beyond my expectations. If I had failed and needed to retake the test or if I needed to take another Pearson exam in the future, I would definitely come back. ...Thankfully I passed!!! Excellent testing center. I took the Pharmacy Technician test here, and signed up because it was the closest to my house. I was surprised when I arrived at my destination that it was the building I always pass by when going to the Daly City movie theaters! Parking was super easy - it shares the same parking lot as the movie theater. It was even more easy since no one is watching movies early Saturday morning. The facilities were new, clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly. However, the check-in can be a bit slow, so if you have something to do afterwards, I would arrive maybe 45 mins before you begin your test. Various tests require different check-in procedures, like fingerprinting, palm screening, picture, etc. There is only one person checking you in, which really slows down everything, especially if all the appointments are filled for that day! Inside the testing room, it's nice and quiet. Clock present too which helps gauge. Another plus, bathrooms are clean! Would take another test here in the future if I need to take at Pearson! read more

I personally had a great experience here when I came to this center for my test. There's free parking at the adjacent parking structure, so it's one less thing to worry about on your exam day. My exam was on a Saturday afternoon. I came in about 45 minutes early, and I was the only one in the waiting area. The lady helping me with the check-in process was super nice and made the entire process go smoothly. Since there was an open spot, she let me take my test early. The testing area is on the smaller side and there's a room with glass windows where a staff member sits to keep an eye on everyone, so you won't have to wave your hand up in the air for hours if you need something - they'll notice you right away. The testing environment is comfortable and I didn't have any complaints. read more

She did not understand English and hung up on me everytime but once. The last time I asked her not to hang up on me and she put me on hold for 30 minutes. I just hung up. I took my NCLEX-RN here one month ago at this location. This place is just right next to the Century Theater. There's two large parking structures that you can leave your car while taking your testing. Best part is that its free. I really liked this since you don't have to worry about your car while taking one of the most important tests of your life! My suggestion is to not bring your cell phone into the test center. If you have your phone, you will need to leave it with the front desk attendant where she will be withholding until you are done with your test. Each test taker sits in their own "cubicle". Distractions are very minimal. They offer optional ear plugs, also, there are headphones at your cubicle that you can wear. Each cubicle has a camera recording the test taker. It sounds intense, but you're so concentrated on your test, you won't even notice. -You get a number once you arrive to the center, and this will be the order that you will enter the room -You will be scanned twice when you enter and leave the testing room. -You can bring snacks/water to the testing center. You will be able to leave it in your own locker, a key will be provided to you. You can NOT bring food/water/anything INTO the testing room -Bathrooms are outside of the testing center, by the elevators. -Raise your hand for anything you will need, a proctor will be assisting you right away. This is the place to do testing. It has free parking! My first time here, i didnt know how secure they make every test. I mean palm prints and putting all possessions in a locker, that's just registration/checking in. Then you get another identification check prior to taking the test and even after getting out. The testing room is set up in a U shape and you have someone at the "guard tower" watching. Its pretty intense, but its quiet as everyone is focusing on the test. They supply all the materials you need if it is permitted. Really strict and professional. read more

Came here for a GMAT a week ago and everything went super smooth. I scoped out the location a week earlier to make sure I wouldn't get lost. It is located right next to the Century Theatres and has free parking next to it. Just make sure you don't lose your ticket! Once you park, you head over the building next door, sign in with the front desk guys and they will let you up as soon as the time is close enough. Once there, you get a number and sign in. The lady will then get your information, take your pic and use a palm scanner. Wait for your time and get ready for the test. There are plenty of clean bathrooms located on the same level so that's definitely a plus. Friendly and patient staff. read more

Absolutely terrible! Tried taking a test and was on the recording screen for over an hour. When contacting someone for help was sent through multiple people. Over the course of another hour the only thing they solved was who I was. Then asked if there was any other inquiry. My test lapsed on time. Now I have to wait so many days and pay again to take if I decide to. read more

Pretty good testing center. I got there at 3:30 pm for a 4 pm appointment, but wasn't expecting for them to take me earlier. I wanted to cram a little bit more before but they started me right when I arrived, so I didn't really know what to do but go along with it. I probably should have asked if i could leave after i checked in, to calm my nerves or cram for a couple more minutes. I have mixed opinions about the staff. The guy at the front desk was cold and seemed to hate his job. Upon sitting down to take a picture following the finger/palm printing he immediately took my photo without any warning and proceeded to recite his script on locking up my belongings. My eyes are half closed in my picture. I guess thats not too big of a big deal though... He did ask me twice if I needed to use the restroom. The rest of the staff was pretty friendly, and after I was done testing, the woman then at the front desk was much nicer, maybe because she just started her shift? But going into a testing center is already very nerve racking, and the first person I encountered really made me feel worse by being cold, indifferent, and rushed even though I was early. read more

I just paid for a practice exam from Pearson Vue. The exam timed out and would not let me complete the exam. This is a practice exam! In the fine print it tells you if you close your browser it is good for 30 days. It is a scam. now I need to pay for what I already paid for again! Talked with customer service and they said it was my fault for not clicking a separate link and reading the FAQ's about a practice exam. What! obviously the directions are not clear. Would I guess I need to read all of the FAQ's for a "practice test". read more

Pearson support. If you hve never tried, you will be challanged to find a number with a person. The automated response system has no way to zero out for help. In the automated responses it will ask for an ID, I added my pearson vue id on receipt but nothing worked. Very frustrating that you cannot talk to anyone if needed....... read more
