My doctors had already sent the orders electronically, so all I had to do was self check-in at the kiosks. I also had a test order I bought myself on the LabCorp website that was also sent electronically. Make sure you create a LabCorp patient account online before you go. The check-in process will be much faster. You won't have to enter your insurance and personal information at the kiosk if you make an account ahead of time. All you have to do is scan your ID and confirm a few details and your check-in is done. They are open 7:30a-11:30a on Saturday. I got there at 7:28am and the waiting room was already 90% full. I expected this, so it didn't bother me. There is plenty of seating and room for many in the waiting area. Most people there were walk-in patients. There is a list of names on a monitor in the waiting area that shows where you are in line after you check-in. It also shows whether you are a walk-in or an appointment. I waited ~50 minutes. The receptionist found all my test orders easily. The phlebotomist was very nice and took my blood samples efficiently and gently. One needle prick and I barely felt it. The only reason I took off one star is the restroom facilities need some attention. They need to be remodeled and cleaned. The toilet paper didn't have a roll dispenser, and the sink spigots were gross.

There is no traditional front desk and no staff member readily available to guide you, which can be confusing, especially if it's your first time or if you're already feeling anxious. You're left to figure things out on your own using the kiosk, and the overall atmosphere in the waiting area feels a bit unwelcoming. That part is definitely a drawback. That said, once you are called in for the actual blood draw, the experience improves dramatically. The phlebotomists are skilled, patient, and professional. I am extremely nervous around needles and have a history of feeling faint, so this is not something I take lightly. The staff here take their time, explain what they are doing, and make sure you are comfortable throughout the process. I have consistently felt like I was in capable hands. They are also very gentle and efficient. I have never experienced bruising here, which has not always been the case elsewhere. Compared to Labcorp, where my husband had a difficult experience with multiple unsuccessful attempts, Quest has been much more reliable. So while the front-end experience could really use improvement, the quality of care during the blood draw itself makes a big difference. If you are someone who is anxious about needles, the professionalism and skill of the staff here can make the visit much easier.

I arrived early to check in and they were able to get me in a few minutes before my appointment time. The unstaffed waiting room and self service check in felt a bit unwelcoming, but once taken back to the clinic, the experience was comfortable and the phlebotomist I saw was friendly and did a great job.

Prior to my scheduled appointment LabCorp sent me both reminders to my mobile #, and an online check in option. I checked in online 15 minutes prior to my appointment from my car. Then I walked over to LabCorp at 6:58am where there were 10 people ahead of me. At 7am the doors opened, and I bypassed the line and sat down. My name was called a minute later. I confirmed my information. Another minute later the phlebotomist called my name. I had blood drawn and was out under ten minutes. I still can't believe how easy this appointment was this time. Hopefully my next appointment will be just as easy here. This location is at Lakeside Village. There's metered street parking and two hour residential parking.

I will start with the bad one, which was completed by a young male with dark short hair who speaks very loud slow spanish. He absolutely murdered my arm to the point that people were asking me if I was in an abusive relationship or got stabbed recently. It sucks that I have to rate this location 3 stars due to those awful male worker. Attaching pics of my arm within a few days of his work.

With an appointment, I was received on time almost on the dot, quick process and very professional + caring. My phlebotomist Genesis was super thorough and answered all my questions + the blood draw went seamless (better than any recent ones I recall having). I recommend coming here early in the AM, have an appointment, arrive 10-15 min early for check-in and drink lots of water. Parking in the street or Sutter is right around the corner and for $5-$8 you don't have to worry about getting a ticket or missing street cleaning signs.
