Easy process to check in - with easy touch screen with the list of options for your visit. Waiting area has plenty of seating for patients, just make sure to not use your cellphone in the waiting area! This Labcorp is very hygienic, which is comforting to know. On the wall, I've seen a sign that read: "The area is DISENFECTED after each guest!' I wish there could be more parking at this Labcorp!! read more

Most labs are very busy and wait times are long. This is to be expected unfortunately. My review is based on the front desk staff alone. The lack of compassion and pure mean spirited interactions I witnessed were shameful. People are here to test for possible life altering illnesses among many other serious things. Shame on you lady! I saw you treat everyone who came to your desk like they weren't worth your time. If you can't be kind and helpful you should not work in healthcare. While there is a tablet to check in on there were many elderly people who clearly needed more help. I hope that one day when you are old and feeling helpless someone treats you like you've treated others. You are a terrible person. read more

Only here out of necessity You have to check in on a tablet which isn't an issue but it glitches, the front desk staff is very overworked you can tell and get a bit condescending I have an appointment there's a bunch of walk ins and I am still waiting an hour past my appointment time, while I understand there are different types of draws seeing people arrive 30 minutes after me and finish before I start is infuriating They were quick to call me up to pay a copay though While the stick was quick and easy as clinical and in personable as you expect it's hard to believe it still took this long to get to my appointment This was truly a last resort based on "appointment" availability read more

I can see why those place has bad reviews. Made an appointment and I'm still waiting over half an hour after my scheduled appointment time. I told the receptionist that I have an appointment at 11:45am but she told me to check in with the machine and the machine told me it's going be about a 2 hour wait! Also, I agree with the some of the other reviewers. I watched all these walking go before the people that scheduled an appointment. What's the point of scheduling an appointment SMH! read more

If I could give zero stars. Based on their board, there were only two other appts, all the rest were walk-ins. As I watched all of these walk-ins were being called back. It took 50 min with an appointment! Arrived at 1020am to check-in for the 1030am appointment. Then at 1040am the lady called us back to the. Counter for the Blood Draw Order and Insurance Card. Why wasn't this done at checkin?! Sat in the waiting area watching people that came in after us be called back. Finally at 1050am we were called back. I thought the nightmare was ending but they had more. Sat in the cubicle for another 20 min. Finally just after 1110am we finished. 50 min start to finish! NEVER AGAIN! read more

There is just no point in making an appointment, as it will not be honored. We waited for half hour past appointment time to get called in. Lab Corp desperately needs to open another location in west Chula Vista, besides 4th Ave. Is it greed that causes organizations to bundle patients like cattle to avoid overhead costs? read more

Back again for routine bloodwork! They're always extremely professional and friendly here! Very busy today, and Robert drew my blood today. It was no nonsense, quick and easy! Definitely make an appointment. Thanks and see you guys again! read more

This place was a pleasant and timely experience! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a smile by the receptionist and assured of a fast and timely service. We helped me check in and I was in within 10 minutes, got my test and I was on my way to enjoy the rest of my day! As someone who went to Quest and had a terrible experience earlier before I decided to come to Lab corp, I'm glad I did. I'm sure all those people polled up there are still waiting to be helped! Thank you guys for your service and I will be back in the future for my medical needs! Not only were they great but my result came before I even had a chance to write the review a day later! Thank you read more

I did not have an appointment from the check in process to having my blood drawn I was in and out in 25 minutes everything was very professional the only sad part is they don't have Snoopy bandaids read more

I want there today, because my mother, a yearly exam for her health insurance and the Reception couldn't even do her job right? Made us wait two hours and she was very rude. I basically had to do the job for her. The worst Experience ever read more

The ladies here were all wonderful and very kind. My appointment went very well. Thank you!

If I could have given a zero I would have, setting up an appointment online is frustrating, not enough choices and/or options, a real pain. Anyhow Karla and Olga were both fabulous and I'm really grateful to them, they were both very professional and helpful. please give Olga a pay raise, she deserves it, she was very professional and I was in and out in under five minutes, thank you read more

The most incapable customer service ever named Cecilia. No help whatsoever my mom is a 83 year old that needs help making appt and going to drs appt and this person was unable to tell me why was taking 6 days to get lab results. Raising her voice and hanging the phone read more

They do my lab work, and I am very happy with their services; their technicians are very good at finding the veins, quick and painless!

I sat in the office over an hour after my appointment time. It was just for a urinalysis. Needed to pee the whole time and they didn't care. STOP SENDING THEM WORK! read more

Parking sucks Elevators slow AF! Walked up stairs 4 flights of stairs because the elevator takes forever! Door locked so I had to walk down 4 flights of stairs to wait for the elevator AGAIN!!! Had to check in with the robots. Scan ID DL and Ins cards at kyosk. I Felt like a product at the grocery store. I mentioned how it was robotic and takes away from the human experience. Desk UEI medical assistant said "it helps us" forgetting the Human part in Health care. No smiles! Covered With face shields and masks! Phlebotomist was good and only needed to stick me once. So she gets 4 out of 5 Stars. read more

Walking into this place was like walking into a clinic in Tijuana. Nobody speaks English (or speaks it and acts like they don't). Expect to have at least an hour of your day wasted if you come to this location! I walked in for a simple blood draw and I ended up waiting just over an hour. First off, they have you sign in and sit down regardless if you have an appointment or not. I waited 30 mins for them just to call my name to check in. So basically, even if you have an appointment, you're going to sit around and wait 30 mins for them to actually check you in plus the time it'll take them to call you to the back, which in my case, was another 30 mins. After waiting 30 mins to check in, and another 30 mins for them to call me to the back, I was told to sit in an ice cold "room" (cubicle). I'm ALWAYS hot, so for me to be cold, they must have had the temp in the low 60's! I sat in the "room" for another 15 mins before someone came and did my test. Last but not least, I used the restroom on my way out and there were nasty stains all over the sink. I couldn't tell if it was coffee or throw up! Plus they have two paper towel dispensers and they were both empty. read more

Labcorp - You have to wait forever whether you have an appt or not! - Laboratory Testing Near Me - Chula Vista, California

This place is super busy and crowded, but the front desk secretary was still super kind and helpful. Then went i got my blood drawn i told the technician i sometimes get nervous and faint, and she told me to look away and talk me through my nerves. It was my best experience getting my blood drawn and I'm really grateful. Please be kind to the people here. Nobody wants to go to a medical facility, nobody wants to get their blood drawn, the least you could do is be grateful the people helping you are kind. read more

I want to give another star because they open so early & they are generally quick about getting you in and out. I appreciate that they seem to be the only location in San Diego that opens before 7am. They do get busy though so if you go in without an appointment you want to make sure you get there right when they open or you may have a bit of a wait. Also they open at 6:30 am but it appears they don't start actually seeing patients until around 6:45 am. All this being said; every experience I have had has been clean and moderately friendly. I wish the reception staff was a bit more chipper, but hey for morning I understand and don't hold it against the less friendly members of the team. Bring a jacket it's cool inside. read more

Is there a rate for ZERO? Waiting time to pee was 1 hour. FOR A DRUG TEST AND IM DOING ALL THE WORK!! They can't just provide me a cup and I can pee and go? Unorganized. No seating. What a mess of a place. Go somewhere else, not this place! If you want your time wasted, I highly suggest coming here! read more

Worst service ever !!! Never answer their phones. Can't even fully explain their hours or how they work. One of the worst facilities they need to find a better job cause clearly they don't care ....... read more

I understand that covid has put a strain on people. However, I have been bringing my grandmother to this location for 2+ years and the receptionists are not the friendliest. They have a demeaning and rude tone when asking for clarification. I've never felt the need to rate them but after today's visit, I think it is highly needed for their front desk staff to be trained on how to better assist patients. read more

Recently made an online appointment and downloaded a QR code which was to be scanned upon arrival, I arrived, signed in and noted I had an appointment. I was looking for a QR code scanner and the woman behind the counter, in less than a friendly tone, told me to sit down and I would be called. I asked about the QR code scannert which the woman said, "Oh you have an appointment". Then she handed me a cup for a urine sample and motioned around the corner. Two restrooms, of which only one was in service. The restroom could be compared with a cheap gas station restroom. Cluttered and no paper towels. The place was very overcrowded. People were waiting outside of the lab. I think I should have been asked if I had an appointment and mostly a more friendly attitude of the employees. read more

My wife went to get her blood drawn today. She came out dizzy. She was going to leave the car at the parking lot and walk home since we live relatively close. The security guard said she could not leave her car in parking lot. She told him that she felt dizzy and he still stated he couldn't leave her car. My wife sat in the car for a bit and then drove away still feeling dizzy. This happened around 0930 on September 6 2018. I understand that there are rules about not leaving your car, but that security guard's duty should have been to go get help/assistance from the lab. I will not let my wife ever go back no matter how convenient it maybe to us and will definitely talk about this experience to my family and friends I would like to give no stars because one star seems too much read more

Staff urgently needs a customer service training. Understand patients are not asking service for free also understand that most of them didn't feel well and the last thing they need is someone giving attitude. read more

An hour wait even with appointment... The lady at the front desk is kind of rude, the place is clean but very crowded due to their desorganización and long wait, what's the point of scheduling an appointment if they will not respect it? read more

I had already been waiting at the wrong building unknowingly, til I was told to walk over to the correct one. I took the elevator upstairs only to find myself with 2 rude administrators. Not a single "good morning," "hello," or "what can I help you with ?" Finally I was acknowledged by a woman who looked and sounded like she was having the worse time of her life. All she said was "blood work, sign there." While sliding a clip board over to me. I showed her my work document which stated I needed a different test. In a rude and bothered tone, she let me know that those tests are only done from 11am to 2pm. I find it very ridiculous that this information is not relayed accordingly when calling a facility or looking in their website. I wasted my time only to be attended to by rude staff who clearly shouldn't be in the medical field. As a medical field employee myself, I'm disgusted by the types of people that are now part of the field. Try remembering that the main reason why you should work with patients is because you care and have compassion, and maybe change the nasty attitude while you're at it. read more

Took great care of my mom and got us out safely and keeping the areas neat and clean keep the great service

OMG I've seen pond water move faster than these slugs!!!!! Staff presents themselves no sympathetic to their customers! No updates on wait times at all and if you ask you get a huge mouth full of attitude. Check in was 10:45 am with no appt and 2:30 hours later still waiting for a glimpse of hope!!! This is the last time I have my dr refer me to this unprofessional corporate location. I'm willing to bet my pay check that north county locations don't move this slow. read more

I am no sure why labcorp is always trying to over charge me. I called the day before to ask about pricing I was on hold and then Someone answered, I said "hello hello" sounds like the heard me and hung up. Then I asked the lady why so much can I make payments, nope I had to call billing no one had answers or tried to get any. I hate it there. When to another place less of wait in line, nicer staff and paid $200 less. I don't recommend going even if you have an appointment you still have to wait so in reality there is no point of making an appointment. read more

After 40+ years in healthcare, this ranks as one of the worst organized and operated facilities I have every been in. The wait time for a simple blood draw was over an hour. The front office staff seems to have forgotten that English is the primary language and that courtesy is part of the job description. I shall let my health care cohorts to reconsider their choice of labs. read more

I had a 8 am appointment and I was 10 minutes early and I was taking in at 8 am sharp and my lab work was over in 5 minutes. In and out no problems. Everyone was really nice and the waiting room was clean and roomy. I won't go anywhere else for my lab work. LabCorp rocks. read more

Majority of the times we come here, we schedule an appointment to avoid the long wait times and we'll be done with the bloodwork probably 10mins after the appointment time. The last time I Scheduled an appointment for my mom at 1pm, got there around 12:40pm, next thing you know it's 1:20pm and she hasn't even been called up to show her insurance and paperwork. read more

I wouldn't even give one star if I didn't have to. This location is terrible. The front desk is very unorganized, there's screaming kids in the waiting room and it took over an hour just to be called back for a test. Never coming to this location again! read more

We dread going to this place but not because of having our blood drawn. The front desk staff is not customer friendly. Sometimes gou are ignored for awhile when first walking up to the counter. They seem to love giving orders but grudgingly answer questions. The wait time for service can be 2 hours or more. They appear to be understaffed for the work demand. You are at their mercy though. read more

The professionalism from the front desk to the back was outstanding . This place was busy and the guy at the desk was still able to be one of the most professional person I've encountered . I had an appointment and was in and out in 15 minutes; which was amazing . I went to the back and the woman who drew my blood was pleasant as well. I am terrified of needles and she did her best to distract me. Thank you ! read more

Had a little difficulty finding this building but I'm new to California. Office has safe distancing, everyone wearing masks appropriately, ample hand sanitizer immediately available. Staff is proficiently bilingual while serving many clients. Phlebotomists skills are superb, no pain with stick and no bleeding or bruising even though I take aspirin daily. In and out in less than one hour, no appointment necessary. I arrived within the first hour of office opening. Note that I did not see or use the restroom. read more
