They already have the required paperwork for Sweetwater school district but it's best to bring your own to avoid glitches. The physical was only $40, and despite a busy waiting room, we were in and out in just 30 minutes. We arrived on a Saturday at 1:00 p.m. and walked out by 1:30. I have been here at 530 pm and walked out by 6. From entry to paperwork to physical. And I have excellent insurance! SB Urgent Care is opened seven days a week. Cash & card accepted. Opened in the evenings. No appointment necessary. I appreciate they are organized, affordable, and hassle-free. Although I come for the physical other patients were there for medical situations. The only drawback is that you can hear everything. If you have a sensitive situation, whisper or write it down. I am greatly pleased of this medical facility in the community that is accessible by bus, car, or your feet. "When health is accessible, lives are preserved ."

She confined the options with her supervisor and we were happy with the care. My only suggestion is to add a better epoxy to the medical room we were in. It didn't feel very clean. However I've probably purchased about 8 machines from Burdick's because some of my current machines are upgrades from entry level machines I also purchased from Burdick's, and I bought a machine for my daughter as well. I've also purchased a vacuum cleaner. Why do I keep going back? Because the products and service are fantastic. Dale and Cruz are so knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. When you buy a machine they will show you how to use it, not just the day of purchase but whenever you have a need. They also service and repair machines. My machines are serviced annually and my machines are returned quickly and in perfect working order. Once I dropped my serger and a spindle that holds a thread cone broke off. I took it to Burdick's to be repaired. Instead of ordering a new part that would've cost $50, they glued it back on and the break is imperceptible. I also love that if you're ever interested in upgrading your machine, you can take your machine in and get a nice credit for it to apply to the new machine. You may also be able to put a machine on layaway for a short time. They carry mostly Elna and Husqvarna Viking brands, but they have other brands that are refurbished/pre-owned. Whenever someone asks me what kind of machine to buy, I always recommend they go Burdick's (or their local sewing/vacuum shop if they aren't in San Diego). If they are looking for a lower price point they can pick up a used machine. You will get a higher quality machine than a new one at the same price point. Also if you buy online you're pretty much on your own after purchase, but if you buy from a sewing machine/vacuum shop, you have support as long as you own the machine.

Which I get, its their business, but it was a turnoff. Aside from that, it is a pretty huge store. What I like most about it is that they have free classes if you buy a machine from them. Right now they are offered every Wednesday and Saturdays but are subject to change. I'm not sure if it's just basic classes or if you'll get more advanced classes after you master the basics. Machines ranged from 140 dollars to almost 800. They also sell vacuums. Some of the brands I never heard of. Seems like its meant more for industrial cleaning? Or meant for large apartment complexes but I could be wrong. Cute and essential store needed in the community.

Dear AFC Urgent Care,…read more On July 8, 2026, at 7:15 pm, I scheduled an appointment with Urgent Care for my husband, who had been ill for approximately one week with flu symptoms, including cough, congestion, headache, body aches, and episodes of sweating. The nurse or medical assistant--I'm not sure of his title since he didn't inform us--took my husband's vital signs without wearing a mask and was seen coughing into his hand. Additionally, he did not wash his hands before or after taking my husband's vital signs. My husband's vital signs were normal. The Nurse Practitioner (NP) examined my husband's ears, throat, and chest. She acknowledged his reported symptoms but did not report any concerns after completing her physical assessment and interview. She did not order or perform a nasal swab, draw blood, collect a urine sample, or conduct a chest X-ray. Instead, she performed an EKG, which was reported as normal. Unfortunately, my husband did not receive a diagnosis or prescription. He was advised to go to the emergency room for blood work and a chest X-ray. We believe that the care he received was inadequate and that the EKG was unnecessary. I had informed the NP that my husband had recently undergone a full workup with a cardiologist, which revealed no concerns. Additionally, my husband informed the NP that he had not and was not experiencing any chest pain.

Then I saw Dr. Sundaram who was even more thorough and had me take more tests/scans including optic nerve and cornea. She walked me through the results and went over my MRI with me, explaining what they indicated and next steps. She was factual and matter of fact, but also calmed my nerves a bit. The only reason this is a 4 star review and not 5 stars is because I had two appointments (field eye test then the consult), an hour apart. The second time I was 20 minutes early, checked in online then went to the front desk. The girl who helped me had no idea how to check me in and when I told her what Jackie did to check me in, she still looked lost and went and asked for help. Long story short, it somehow took 25 minutes for this to happen so instead of being early I ended up getting seen late. Dr. Sundaram was great and very thorough, and I would recommend her.

I was referred to a specialist and provided a prescription to be filled at Walgreens. When I arrive at Walgreens, they inform me they did not have a prescription for me. I have to contact the Lakes Urgent care office once again only to find out the made a mistake and sent my prescription to the wrong location. When I arrived to my specialist appointment, once again I have to contact the Lakes Office because they never sent over my referral approval. Constant oversight and mistakes with this office.
