When I asked how long the wait would be another office "professional" was so rude & unprofessional - I left as it sounded like they weren't going to allow me to be treated anyways. I cannot be the first person she's given cheap attitude to or that has had a complaint about how they treat people there but I hope I am the last. She would be fired if she worked for me. No right to be working in health CARE. Disgusting.

We were in town visiting family and our one year old had gotten rather ill. Since we don't have a…read moreprimary in town, we took him to PrimeHealth Urgent Care. The front desk staff was kind, helpful and informative. After being directed into a room, they took my son's vitals and we were quickly seen by Tony Atwell. He had amazing bedside manner--was so friendly, caring, and thoughtful. Since our son was so young, Tony was apprehensive about over-medicating which I appreciated. He answered all of my questions and put all of my concerns at ease. We got some prescriptions and were on our way. I felt like we were truly cared for and not rushed out of the room. We were informed of the options and together with Tony, came up with a game plan. Our son got better quickly, and is thriving! Thank you PrimeHealth Urgent Care and Tony!

We have been to SMH care center on UP many times, usually for blood draw…read more This time I went for an MRI. I usually would go to Sarasota Memorial, Downtown, which I do for breast exams, etc. and rate them highly. I will not come back to SMH at University Parkway for a MRI. The person providing the MRI said he was at the end of his 7 hour shift. He was not dressed neatly in "uniform" of any kind, and smelled of BO. I first thought he was a maintenance person. He did not provide assistance in terms of how to negotiate the MRI bed, what to hold on to, etc. Very casual and not engaged in the process. Very unusual from positive experienced I have had with SMH downtown.

Did not take any care in drawing my blood. I dealt with it. Cold as ice she was but I let it go knowing that people can have a bad day when they are sticking needles in my arm. Friday was unacceptable. I get called in over a half hour late, I am very sick and struggle to get here to for blood work. She angrily has me sit and I complimented her hoping to ease her mood, for she did a good job drawing my blood last time because others can't draw my blood well. I was hoping to make her smile and take that angry look off of her face. Instead she rudely states she is having a really bad day and not to expect this blood draw to go as well with an angry face. WOW Then she says my orders are wrong which they were not. Then she asked which arm ? I had my right arm on the rest with my sleeve up and she says where do I want her to stick the needle ? At this point I asked her not to be so rude and then she got even more angry. I then decided This woman is not touching me and left. How could you let someone draw blood that is miserable all the time and lets her patients know it ???? I am very sick and this was absolutely no way to treat a sick person. She's asking Me ? where to stick the needle ??? I will never use this place again and I am seeking legal action against this place. I know for a fact that I am not the only one she has treated like this. She needs to be dismissed from her Job. Absolutely not right for this to happen to anyone. It is hard enough to get blood drawn when your sick, Who wants a phlebotomist that hates her job and can't even be nice when you walk in the room ? Leave your personal life at home and don't take it out on sick people. This was the worse experience I have ever had accept when another Phlebotomist stuck me 8 times to get my blood sample and had 8 black and blues on my arms. of course from LAB CORP
