To be honest: It's difficult to order on the menu if you're vegan, gluten-free, and if you have a lot of allergies, like I do But you can work around it if you really want to eat here It's not the most flavorful when you have to do that, but it's testy enough to get the job done in your tummy The guacamole taste good, but you can definitely tell it's not homemade The Jamaica (sorrel/hibiacus) taste good, but it taste like concentrate If you don't have any allergies or food restrictions, I think you'll enjoy it much more Once I had a rude server, but all other times I've come here all of my other servers have been nice

First time trying out the food and it was okay. The staff was friendly. The taco salad pretty okay. I didn't care for the shell, because it tasted wet instead of hard and crunchy. The Mexican corn was pretty good. The Especial burrito tasted okay. The dough on the burrito was too doughy especially on the ends and not enough filling inside. I didn't care for all that queso on the burrito. Too much of it. Other than that, I did enjoy the chips that you get with the meal.

This place was a hit! I highly recommend if you are in Montgomery to check it out! The food was flavorful and the drinks were on point! We tried the Bonita Margarita who's is on the sweet side and it was as beautiful as the menu mentions! The service was great and our waitress answered all our questions! I highly recommend the queso add avocado and pico, the mix and match to create your own with the Elote Loco, pupusa and flaunta! I wasn't a huge fan of the burrito meal I think it was just a taste preference, but everything else was outstanding.

Green sauce wasn't as spicy as I first thought. Cheese sauce and salsa were good. Salsa was a thin mix, I will go back.

Food was tasty, service was great, and company was fantastic as I took my daughter and wife here for dinner. Service was really good.

Left to right: tacos de asada (2, $3.00 each), al pastor ($3.25), y lengua ($3.50). Solid asada, but can't say the same about the others.

As a local college student, I would often drive past this restaurant on daily errands and study missions to the Starbucks nearby. Eventually, the gravitational pull of Mexican food got the better of me, and so I decided to stop by one night to satisfy my taco cravings. I decided on four tacos to go: two carne asada ($3.00 each), one lengua ($3.50), and one al pastor ($3.25). At first glance, the prices did seem a little hefty for smaller, street-style tacos, but I was hopeful that they would be worth it considering the positive community opinion of this place. Things were off to a good start with the carne asada; it was seasoned well and also very crispy. Unfortunately for me, that's where things fell off the boat. The lengua meat was served in some kind of weird, orange-tinged sauce (see attached photo), and also had a strange aftertaste. Even stranger, the al pastor I was given really wasn't even al pastor; it was some form of tangy, cloying shredded/pulled pork, not the classic spiced, pineapple-marinated meat that many of us know and love. It's a shame because I had high hopes for this place and things seemed so promising at the outset... That said, I'd still say that you'd be justified in coming in to try the carne asada, as that is probably the only thing I wouldn't mind returning for. But if it's pure authenticity and a variety of quality meats that you want, you may want to try your luck elsewhere.

I am from San Diego California so my expectations for Mexican food are high!!! A couple of friends and co-workers recommended La Zona Rosa. My friend took me. The ambience is inviting Pub/Bar-ish. Customer service is friendly. I ordered The Guacamole your way, and Tacos: Carne Asada, Carnitas, & Pollo Asado. They were delicious. I will return

Omg why didn't I know about this place!? Talk about a "hidden" gem or "IYKYK" type restaurants in Montgomery! 5 stars for the elotes alone! 5 stars for the plantains! 5 stars for the generous portions of sliced avocado! 4 stars for the jamaica! 3 stars for the black bean soup, it taste good but the consistency was off. Took it home to kick it up a notch. 5 stars for the vegetarian fajitas! 4 stars for the shrimp tacos, we know most Mexican restaurants dumb their food down for Americans, but make it spicy. They give you generous portions and the staff is friendly and masked up! Love that. I will be back with my husband. Excited about this place.

Love the service and it's very quick and fresh. It's the best in town in my opinion. I had many different things and all are so good.

Great casual Mexican food. Quick service and the food is hot. Either large portions or small (a la cart).

It has a very open dining room and accent lights along the walls. We had a young man named Jackson as our server. He seemed a bit timid but provided great service. He made suggestions on dishes and made sure we had what we needed as the meal progressed. My friend, who has frequented this place before stated that their menus were new. I have included photos of the food menus. For me, they weren't very user friendly or organized well. Either way, we figured it out. The dishes were generous in portions and very very delicious! I had the meal #44 which is the Naked Pablano Pepper which I got with chicken. My friend took Jackson's recommendation of the #32 which is the Plato de Carnitas. Great experience. Would definitely come back!

The slow-cooked brisket tacos are absolutely on point: tender, rich, and packed with flavor that keeps me coming back.
