it's a hit or miss kind of place. The first time I got pizza there it was amazing, a couple of visits weren't so great. The gnocchi Bolognese special was five star, but a salad with what should've been fresh avocado was god-awful inedible. Last night I ordered calamari. It was very expensive for what it was and I think I would've enjoyed taking the tires off my car and eating them instead much better. Doubt I'll be going back. read more

I went to La Vita for the first time today for a best friends birthday breakfast, I wasn't too satisfied to say the least, for starters it's a self serve meaning everyone there is dipping there hands in the food, I didn't see a sink in sight for customer hand washing, or at least a sanitizer. Now for the food itself, my scrambled eggs were what I'd consider undone , they were yolky. The pancakes were okay, the best thing were the fried potatoes. I went to get an omelette because the scrambled eggs were not for me... the omelette was decent. Could've made a better one at home. The service itself was nice, our waitress made sure our cups were full at all times! My suggestion to this place would be turkey products! The service is very friendly and prompt! The food is EXCELLENT! Especially the chicken Francase.... the chicken is so tender and juicy. The sauce is made perfect, with a touch of lemon. Absolutely horrific food, completely overpriced, and totally stale ambiance. We did takeout while visiting from California due to a funeral, and I am shocked out how absolutely terribly yet ridiculously overpriced this food is, and that is coming from a person who pays already exorbitant prices. An $18 arugula salad with "house vinaigrette" was nothing more than wilted greens and oil and vinegar. Chicken was completely subpar. Kids cheeseburger was so burnt the cheese was hard and brown. Chicken Caesar wrap had zero dressing so the already dry chicken was even drier. Shut this place down immediately. Should have known it was piss poor quality when I saw it was in a strip mall next to a dollar store but that's all we had for options. Crackers and tap water would have been better. My husband and I tried La Vita in the acme shopping center in Vineland. We said after our meal we would return again. It is a byob, but they also offer full bottles of wine from a NJ winery. I enjoyed the salad bar and all the side salads such a potato salad and two pasta salads were very tasty. Salad bar offered many choices and dressings. If you order an entree you can chose to have the salad bar for an additional $3. You get soup with your entree, for an additional $3 can upgrade to seafood bisque, which was loaded with seafood. I show that in one of my pics. I had the lobster Ravioli with crabmeat, asparagus and tons of good! Sun dried tomatoes with a blush sauce. They also have brick pizza oven so we took home a margarita pizza to try at a later date. Service was excellent! Try LaVita seems like they have something for everyone! The restaurant has a nice ambiance about it and I Love the breakfast buffet on the weekend. Their portions are large as well.

Food was high quality at a decent price. Great service, refills come without asking. Zehra is a great server. I got the ribeye with scallops. Perfectly seasoned. Even the sides are well seasoned and made perfectly prepared. The layout and decor are authenticity Italian. Even the plate rotated on its own when you switch eating different things on your plate. Went with the boyfriend to try this new restaurant, last night. We had arrived over an hour before closing, and were met with a strange lady at the door telling us they were closed with a large grin on her face, and talking in a suspiciously rushed manner. Their ads said online that they were open until 10 pm and other employees we had met in passing told us they were open until 10 pm, as well. When we asked about that, she said "We are open 10 til 10 every day, but now we are closed." The strange woman handed us a menu and then told us to come back tomorrow. She went back inside and promptly flipped the open sign to "closed" as we walked away, confused and frustrated as we'd wasted time and gas to get there. This behavior is an example of terrible customer service and is not a great first impression as a new restaurant. We gave Applebee's our business instead, which is a shame because we value supporting small businesses. read more

Pizza crust is too thick, steamed clams had no flavor just butter. Chicken pesto wrap....no flavor just blah, fries were cold, def not worth the money. Probably won't go back, disappointed. Should not call it authentic Italian food, it's an embarassment to us! read more

Went there for lunch ! I have not been in there since Cafe Centro . The bar is still there but it looks like they only serve wine . I guess the liquor license is no more . We got the Margarita pizza which was good , crust was perfect . Very tasty . We got garden salads and did not realize that they were huge until they came to the table . We should have done the salad bar but I don't like that ( that is a story for another time ) . The waitress was so nice and friendly , I wish I could remember her name. We will be back !
